Weekend Trip to Floodwood Municipal Campground

This is a great little place to camp, very peaceful and right on the river. There is a nice fishing dock and some additional little trails to fish from shore. Camp sites are well maintained and required very little leveling for our 30ft camper. Bathroom/shower house was clean and well maintained as well. Oh and I almost forgot to mention it is super dog friendly!!! Look forward to camping here again!

Funding for this project was provided by the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund as recommended by the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR). Originally secured by the City of Floodwood in the 1970s to preserve outdoor recreation for future generations, the campground continues to be a welcoming haven for campers, hunters, anglers, and boaters alike.
