These yurts are located in a separate loop of Tiki RV Park. Each is dispersed about 100-300' apart and tucked into it's own set of trees, offering their own fire pit along with a picnic table, 2 Adirondack chairs, as well as a complimentary fire starter & bundle of wood.
Each yurt comes equipped with a pour-over coffee service (includes a hot water kettle, individual serve coffee, creamer & cups). Our yurts always have fresh sheets, a blanket, a comforter, as well as four pillows. A heater and fan are accessible at all times for guests who may need them. Mountain Magic was purchased 10 years ago to begin an off-grid dream for self-reliant Wilderness Survivalist Kellie Nightlinger of Naked and Afraid fame. Kellie is the top-ranked female survivalist in the world as voted on thetoptens.com/survivalexpertskellienightlinger. Kellie teaches wilderness survival and is building her own log cabin on adjacent property to the HipCamp site. Kellie and her new life-partner Rich would be available to teach Survival and off-grid skills to campers schedule permitting. Kellie searched for the perfect off-grid property for 8 years before buying Mountain Magic. The property is steep mountainous terrain with in hiking distance of the Continental Divide Trail. The property is one of the few properties near the trail as one would traverse from the Canadian border in a sourtherly hike or bike or ride before reaching the second paved road transecting the Continental Divide Trail south of the Canadian Border. There are often Elk, Mule Deer, and occasionally White Tail Deer, Mountain Lion, Black Bear and once in a blue moon a Grizzly Bear on the property. Mountain Magic has a great view down a Long valley leading to the Rocky Mountain Front and the Great Plains. The property is situated between 5400-6000’ in elevation. Mountain Magic can be accessed in non-snowy conditions via a private back-County road that switchbacks up the mountainsides from a paved State Highway. In months with snow this off-grid gem can be accessed via snowshoe, AT Skis, Telemark Skis, Snow Cat, or Snowmobile. Transportation may be available by Kellie or Rich depending upon schedule. Mountain Magic is located behind a private gate. Kellie’s log cabin build is now being completed by The Kellie and Rich Team. Cabin amenities available to HipCampers are up for negotiation and consideration. Some possible amenities provided to HipCampers could be drinking water, campfire wood, cooking campifire greats, other camping gear including but not limited to an all inclusive gear package with tent and sleep systems and cooking systems or Camp Hammock set up. Weekend Trip to Tiki Hut Yurts
The yurts were SO cute! The lights were gorgeous and the bathrooms were way more than I expected (a full private bathroom!). The space heater kept us VERY cozy. We were far away enough from our neighbors that we didn’t see or hear anyone else at night. Everything here was great and we highly recommend staying here!!

My family loved camping at Sandra's campsite! Her Yurt tents were wonderful! It was very peaceful being tucked in the woods with gorgeous lights in and around the tent. Sites are far enough apart so you are able to relax on your own. Yurt tents had comfortable beds, lights, coffee makers, heater/fan, and wood delivered daily. Everything was perfect

We really enjoy the Tiki Yurts! Have stayed there two years in a row now, and have recommended it to friends. The only unfortunate thing was that both times staying there both my husband and I went to use their showers and bearly have 2 minutes of warm water. I would recommend planning on not using the showers while there.

This was amazing and magical for our family!! There were two small cots set up for kid beds. I did not see that in pictures. We so appreciated that. Our two kids were excited to see their own little beds. The lights were such a fun ambiance. The bathrooms for the yurt only campers was awesome. Complete with shower!
We had been staying at DH day campground in sleeping bear in a tent and no showers. This felt like luxury. Thanks again.

My husband and I very much enjoyed Glamping in St.Ignace, MI. The wooded campground is lovely and facilities very nice. The yurt was clean and bed was very comfy. The maintenance staff was quick to respond to an urgent request. It’s the perfect place to stay for a day trip to Mackinac Island followed by an evening around the campfire.

I stayed here overnight for the Mackinac Bridge Walk on Labor Day, and it was the perfect spot! Sandra was a fantastic host – great communication before arrival and quick to answer my questions. Check-in was super easy, and the yurt itself was such a cozy retreat.
The bed was very comfortable with nice pillows, and I appreciated little touches like the fan, coffee pot with coffee, and extra seating inside. The campsite had everything I needed: fire pit with wood provided, picnic table, chairs, grill nearby, and bathrooms just a short walk away. The setting among the cedar trees made it peaceful and quiet, and at night the lit-up yurt felt magical.
This was such a relaxing and convenient place to stay, and I’d definitely come back the next time I’m in St. Ignace!

This was our first time staying in a yurt and our experience did not disappoint. We were visiting Mackinac Island and wanted a different experience. We stayed in the Nanea yurt which gave plenty of privacy but it meant a longer trip to the restrooms (this was a little challenging with a 5 year old). Sandra’s directions and communications were clear, detailed, and we had no issues even when we checked in later at 9:00 pm. The yurt was very clean, cozy, and well equipped. We will definitely be returning to Tiki Hut Yurts when we’re in the area.

The Yurt was everything we expected, and maybe a bit more. Had a great campfire our last night with the free firewood and the firestarter provided by the RV/Yurt park. I looked through all the info online and in the app to see if there were outlets available, found no info, but was pleasantly surprised to find a power strip inside our Yurt. We were in the aloha which is close to the showers/toilets, but not so close that you are bothered by them. This was a great two-night stay with a trip to the Island in between.

The tent and site was clean and so beautiful. The check in and checkout process was smooth and hassle free. We stayed for a few days and they dropped us off firewood whenever we ran out, the bathrooms were cleaned often, and the location was perfect!

Loved it. We'll definitely be back. The yurt was spacious (even with 2 extra cots) and very sturdy and clean. There was a picnic table,na fire pit, string lights inside and out, a power strip inside the yurt, and even a hot water kettle and coffee! And the bathrooms were clean and had nice hot showers. After a long day on Mackinac Island, it was so nice to just walk in and go to bed (in a comfy bed!) without any fuss. It's also right on town, yet remarkably quiet and peaceful. Definitely our new go-to in the area.

Absolutely beautiful and relaxing setting. First time ever staying in a yurt and it was the most relaxing experience. From the coffee being there, the fan, bedding ,wood, fire starter, rugs, lights, and towels. Literally just bring your shower items and clothes . Wish the yurt had been available for more than one night!! The bed itself is probably the most comfortable thing I have ever slept on I need to know more about getting one for myself because WOW! We stayed in aloha very convenient to the yurt only showers/restrooms being right across!!
