Welcome to our little slice of heaven along the Grand River in Grand Haven, MI. Voted one of the best places to visit in '22 and '23. Our property is at the end of a private road and has been in the family for decades. We fondly refer to it as One Grand Place and we are excited to be sharing it with you.
Our Premium RV site has a cement pad, parallel to the river. Can accommodate 1 RV up to
30' (NO Class A's allowed). 30/50/standard 110 electric and water hookup. Pump out is available for a fee.
At the very far west end of the property is a large grassy area with 1 RV site perpendicular to the river with 30 amp and standard 110 electric and water. RV up to 30' (NO Class A's). Pump out is available for a fee.
If you don't have an RV, no problem. Rent our elevated popup RV.
There is plenty of room to set up games, fish, play with the kids or the dogs, etc. What's not to like? It is your very own exclusive home away from home.
Property is adjacent to Connor Bayou County Park and surrounded by natural wetlands. So, we are a perfect place to unwind, chill, enjoy fresh air and picture perfect sunsets.
Boating, swimming, jet skis, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing are just a few things to be enjoyed on the water. There's a public boat launch just a couple minute ride and Connor Bayou Park has a kayak specific boat launch. Or, you can also drop a kayak in at the very west end of our property right from shore.
Hiking, biking and wildlife/bird/eagle watching are also options. Lake Michigan beaches, various state/county parks, downtown Grand Haven's shops and restaurants are just a short drive away.
Holland is about 30 minutes south. PJ Hoffmaster State Park is 25 minutes North. If you are a thrill seeker, Michigan's Adventure Amusement and Waterpark is 40 minutes North in Muskegon. Grand Rapids is 40 minutes to the East. There are also many wineries, distilleries, ciders and craft beer in Southwest Michigan as well as "you pick" blueberries and many festivals in the summer. Bottom line....there is plenty of things to do and see during your visit. You can be as active or as chill as you want to be.

We have an 80 acre homestead on a dirt road with clear, flat places to park an RV or vehicle and woods for camping or hiking. You can camp or park in several places around the property and have complete privacy from the house. You’ll need to bring your own drinking water and there are no restrooms available. There is an RV dump station 5 miles north at McCormicks gas station. Feel free to ask questions. We look forward to sharing our beautiful space with you.
We are two “young” folks with a budding farm and homestead. We have horses, cows, free range chickens, and a load of barn cats around a 100+ year old barn. You are welcome to respectfully interact with the animals, but be careful of the electric fence!

Reading Area: We have a small, private library (The Book Barn) for all campers to use during their visit. We kindly ask that all books remain on-site and are not taken home. All the books have a horse-themed focus. Near the barn, you will find benches adjacent to the primary pasture, which is used for a local children's horse reading and confidence-building program. Campers are welcome to enjoy this space as well.

We are located along the North Country Trail and only a few blocks from their office as well as walking distance from the Kent county youth fairgrounds

I would highly recommend staying at Doug and Kerri's place. The views are beautiful and it was so peaceful and relaxing. One of the best places we’ve stayed yet! Our host was great! No hookups at the site area but Matthew was very helpful and allowed us to use the water spigot on the side of the house. HUGE BONUS, you get to play frisbee with his awesome, crazy smart dogs!! The sites are in a field right on the river. The little road back to the field is a bit bumpy but we made it easily in our 39ft class A towing our car. Tons of room to turn around too. Just needed to take it slow. Will definitely be staying here again. Soooo peaceful and relaxing.

Loved tent camping on Rebecca’s land. This was my second visit and it was everything I remembered and more. I did bring my dog and she loved having a large site all to herself. As a solo female camper, I felt very safe while still feeling like I had pitched my tent in the middle of nowhere. Highly recommend Wildflower Runway!

Absolutely loved our stay on Doug and Kerri's property! The views are just stunning! And to be right there on the Grand River was really a huge privilege, no crowding, it's quiet and you have big solid fire pit. You can fish directly from your site. The property is beautifully maintained and Doug and Kerri think of it all when it comes to providing amenities (Grill, Cornhole, games, firewood, outhouse, solar shower, pump out service, etc...). They are great about communicating and getting you to the property and set up. I am so glad we stayed here and I sure wish I lived closer as I would be there often. Highly recommend!

My sister and I had a great time at the riverfront campsite. We were able to get on the water multiple times (instant river access is awesome!) including a beautiful sunrise paddle :) We thoroughly enjoyed the farm animals and the constant natural symphony around us. We didn’t have the chance to meet Matthew, but his property was beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for. Super close to town while feeling a lot more secluded. We brought a pop up privacy tent

While we didn’t use the portable shower, my husband used the porta potty as we were leaving he mentioned it was clean and had a surprisingly (and appreciated) pleasant odor ;) Thank you for all of your help, your rv site is just what we needed. We hope to come back again!
