A wagon or sled will be provided to make the 2 minute trek to the tent site. Driving to the site will not be permitted or available, especially when the snow flies. We are 1.5 miles from Fresh Air Aviation, 6.0 miles from Island Air, and 6.4 miles from the Beaver Island Boat Company. Please note: planes do not fly when there is inclement weather and the ferry is only seasonal. Be prepared to make plans in case you are not able to fly over or get stuck on island a few extra days. (Yes, this absolutely does happen!) Make sure to check the ferry schedule as well. This rental does not provide transportation. Car and bike rentals are available on island, but make sure to plan ahead especially in the peak season. Cars are permitted on the ferry with advance notice. The yurts were SO cute! The lights were gorgeous and the bathrooms were way more than I expected (a full private bathroom!). The space heater kept us VERY cozy. This was our second time back to stay in the tiny cabin. We loved our first trip. We drive downstate often to visit family. Perfect place to stop and enjoy nature with your dog and family. I loved the view! Granted it was very windy the day I stayed there so that’s something to consider since your by lake. Very easy to get to the site and overall pretty clean. Had some clutter here and there but not a big deal. My only major critique is one, maybe put stone down on the path to the beach because it had really deep ruts and it was very muddy. I got my car stuck quite a few times. The other is the shower water did not really get warm. Again, not the end of the world but addressing those few things would make the site even better than it already is. Overall I’d give it an 8/10

My family loved camping at Sandra's campsite! Her Yurt tents were wonderful! It was very peaceful being tucked in the woods with gorgeous lights in and around the tent. Sites are far enough apart so you are able to relax on your own. Yurt tents had comfortable beds, lights, coffee makers, heater/fan, and wood delivered daily. Everything was perfect

If you have a trailer or stay in the cabins you will have a great time! The sites are very exposed for tent campers and the jake brakes from the nearby highway can be bothersome at night. The property and bath houses are top notch and the staff at the store are friendly and helpful.

Wow. Just wow. Probably the best campsite i have been too. Clean. Beautiful view. Really awesome host. And not too far of a drive from town. My only regret booking this site is that we didn't get to stay longer. 10/10. Book now it now!!!

This place/our cabin was perfect! We were impressed with how clean it was and the space was perfect for two adult couples, a baby, and our young daughter on the pull-out couch. They even had a pack and play for us when we arrived! The hosts were friendly and accommodating and there for anything we needed but also gave a lot of space and privacy. The campground is great too; the lakefront was beautiful and lots of different areas to sit and relax and enjoy. We would definitely come back!

Glamping is definitely the way to go. You still get to be outdoors but with a nice twist of comfortable beds and clean yurts and all the finer immensities.

Nice and quiet location, center of UP, we used it to explore Pictured Rocks, Maquette to Baraga,and some trails closer to camp. Hosts were very friendly and helpfull with camp features. Would go back again. Thanks

2nd time here. Nice and flat grass area. Real toilet and shower! Quiet, hosts were great. Highly recommend. Didn't go down to lake, but saw dock area 1st time. Convenient to Manistique.
