Beautiful spot on Lake Milakokia (1,956 acres) featuring walleye, perch, pike, and suckers with the most amazing sunrises as well as sunsets. Tahquamenon Falls, Kitchitikipi, Pictured Rocks Lakeshore, and the Mackinac Bridge all within an hours drive. Very quiet property. Pets welcomed but must be on a leash and attended at all times.

Two are within two feet from the beach, while the remaining two are about 50’ from the beach but have full views of the lake. We have approximately 400’ of lake frontage. These sites are in my yard. Welcome to a rare Lake Superior sand beach property, overlooking Whitefish Bay. This partially wooded site, set back from the main road 250’, offers privacy while also being within the boundaries of the small community of Paradise. Restaurants, groceries and food trucks are a short walk away.
The beach or the stair’s viewing deck offer a great spot to watch the sun rise over the lake while having your morning brew. You can pick wild blueberries in July and August in the woods between your camper and the beach.
We are close to Tahquamenon (Tuh-KWA-men-en) Falls, Tahquamenon River, Whitefish Point Shipwreck Museum, Crisp Point Lighthouse, and Rivermouth State campground/day park for boat launching and fishing.
Potable water and 15/30 amp electric service are available. Since there are no bathroom facilities, we are accepting only self contained campers. You will also need to be able to back 250’ down a straight driveway to the site.

Weekend Trip to Just Show Up Camping
I loved the view! Granted it was very windy the day I stayed there so that’s something to consider since your by lake. Very easy to get to the site and overall pretty clean. Had some clutter here and there but not a big deal. My only major critique is one, maybe put stone down on the path to the beach because it had really deep ruts and it was very muddy. I got my car stuck quite a few times. The other is the shower water did not really get warm. Again, not the end of the world but addressing those few things would make the site even better than it already is. Overall I’d give it an 8/10

This is a perfect spot to stay on your visit to the Upper Peninsula. It is conveniently located near a grocery store, convenience stores, and restaurants. Unfortunately, the food trucks were not open while we were there. You are a few short steps from the water on White Fish Bay and a sandy beach. We will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at Superior Sunrises and had a great time! The place was easy to find and tucked away. You're very close to restaurants and stores which is great, but it's tucked back far enough to feel secluded.
The deck overlooking Lake Superior was definitely our favorite part. Absolutely stunning!
It was very nice having access to electricity and water. We didn't plan on using it, but it got pretty cold so we had to pull out our tent heater.
The hosts were very helpful and created a great space for memories.
We will absolutely be back in the summer!

Quick and easy campsite. Nothing fancy, but a really nice view by the water and all the essentials. Andrew was extremely communicative and accommodating (we changed to the other beach view site last minute). The only downside to the site was the bugs. It was fairly windy the first night so it was no issue, but the second night they were relentless - bring bug spray or some type of netting. No issues during the day time though. Good location, close to some hiking locations and parks. Easy to get to.

My family and I had an amazing time camping at this spot. The views and access to a private Lake Superior beach is just unbelievable. Compared to the business and crowds of the nearby state campgrounds, this is an oasis. Also so fun that there are amenities like a small grocery store and a couple cafes/food trucks within walking distance.

Paradise is the perfect name for this spot! Tucked in a little town yet feeling completely secluded, this campsite strikes the best balance of convenience and privacy. I loved being able to walk across the street to the grocery store, then return to a peaceful site with water and electric hookups plus access to a private sandy beach. The location made an ideal home base for exploring the area, and the bonus was the local food trucks—don’t miss the freshly caught whitefish and definitely grab the onion rings. 10 stars! I’ll absolutely be back.

Great little spot right on the beech. No varments like raccoons, definitely no signs of bears, can get buggy or windy at times but thats the outdoors. Portajohns are a nice addition to the sites on that side of the road. Can't wait to get back. Friendly staff.

Beautiful view and very responsive and gracious hosts! I loved having this private beach entrance, beautiful sunset and sunrise! They have everything you need from electric, water, picnic table, fire pit! And there’s a little store across the street if you need anything else! Tent camping on the private lake, was just what we've been looking for. The views were beautiful, waking up to the calm waves and nature around us was so peaceful. Having my dog unleashed was wonderful not to have to worry about anything. The video Drew sent before we came, was so helpful! I would've never found it without it. Drew met up with us when we first got there just to make sure we didnt need anything but otherwise did not come back but was easily reachable if we needed him or had questions. There was a fire ring, a grill, a picnic table that we could use at our campsite. The beach was not too rocky, all sand in most of the places as long as you walked specific pathways and it is shallow so far out but deeper in sections that really helped with our younger kids and dog. We sat in the water almost all day on one of the days just relaxing. Couldn't have asked for a better getaway.
