You'll be camping on our Stanley lake sugarbush property. Lakefront sites have power and water - are located in a grassy clearing on the shores of Stanley Lake. ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES ON PROPERTY!! Primitive sites are amongst the maple trees of our sugarbush operation, within walking distance of the lake. These sites do not yet have water or electricity, but water is available from spigots at the lake clearing. Stanley lake is just shy of 400 acres, known for walleye and bass. It is an all sports lake with no limited wake hours. Feel free to roam our woods - you will notice the blue maple lines come to an end at our east and west property lines, as well as a no trespassing sign on the lake clearing to the west line. Deer here are plentiful, and you can often get them to eat from your hand, provided you have apples. Iron county has a tremendous ORV/snowmobile trail system. I have a place to rest for a couple nights, there is a small non motorized lake across the road. Dunbar is not to far away and there you can find Thermal Chaos, it's a great bbq place, they also have great burgers and 24 hr 91 non ethanol gas. You can also try Richard's supper club for great food also. I am also right on the atv trail. Marinette country has many waterfalls to explore also. Please follow the golden rule of camping and hiking is “leave no trace.” Anything you bring in, must be carried out. Please pack your waste, trash and recyclables, and take it with you when you leave. You may use dead and downed wood as firewood, but do not cut live trees or brush. Keep fires small and make sure your campfire is out before you leave. I hope you have a great time!

Bells Acres is a large property with abundant history! Originally homesteaded by a Finnish family in the 1800s, we are only the 4th family to own this property. Doc Bell operated his veterinarian practice from this farm starting in 1915, giving his name to the creek running through the property and the lake it feeds. A family from Finland purchased the property from the Bell family in the 1960s and lived on the homestead until 2020 when we purchased it. We hope to continue the tradition of generational homesteading, while sharing this piece of God’s country with you! Our property features a vast variety of terrain on over 40 acres for our campers to explore on and off trail. Wildlife enthusiasts can enjoy the chance to see deer, bear, moose, beavers, coyotes, waterfowl, upland birds, and more! You name it, it is here! Our dark skies allow for amazing views of the stars and northern lights! There is a common area near the pond that includes a pavilion with picnic tables, a fire ring, and swing benches to enjoy watching wildlife, sunrises and sunsets. Enjoy total serenity as there is minimal “noise” around us. Just nature at its best! We hope that you will make Bells Acres your base camp for your next adventure! Unplug and unwind with us away from all the hustle and bustle! Cell service is spotty here, but we will be installing internet services in summer 2026. We are excited to be your host and share what we love about Marquette County and the surrounding areas!

Located in the waterfall capitol of Wisconsin this property has a gravel pad capable of having up to a 40’ camper or RV with a full hookup.* Nearby Glen lake access being a short walk to a private shared non public dock. Bring your own kayak or canoe. Lake is quiet and has no wake. Excellent fishing. Lake/ dock can have weeds during the summer months so swimming from the dock is not great. Swimming can be done about 100’ out from the dock or at the nearby Dolan lake public beach access. (see photo) Site is located on the connecting atv/utv trail so, no need to trailer to the parking lot. Fire pit located on site about 75 feet from gravel pad. Pets allowed if properly leashed and cleaned up after. Limited fire wood available for purchase using digital forms of payment. Many other roadside fire wood vendors available close by. Electrical is a 30/50amp hookup, a total of 60’ of cord and garden hose will be needed to reach electric/water. 20’ of sewer hose needed for dumping. All hookups are located on the opposite side of the normal RV utilities as rv will have to be backed onto gravel pad. For RV’s and trailers over 20’ access to RV pad is best if you back down the hill from the main road roughly 200’ away.
