This property features a blacktop circle driveway for easy in & out access.  Our property offers the perfect getaway for nature lovers, families, and solo adventurers looking to unwind and connect with the great outdoors.

Location:
Located just 8 miles from downtown Frankenmuth and 10 miles from the Prime Outlets of Birch Run, our campsites are easily accessible yet provides a secluded haven away from the hustle and bustle.

Tent Sites: Spacious, grassy areas with plenty of shade, ideal for tents.
RV Sites: Level, grass sites (or even blacktop if you prefer) with easy access for RVs and campers.

Mulligan's Valley in the Woods

We are situated at the end of a private road with only 2 residences. 12+ wooded acres to enjoy(hiking/exploring). At this time, only Sprinter Vans, Truck Campers and small trailers are ideal for the RV sites. Tent campers set up at the back of the property in the woods. Several hiking trails and locations to camp. There are multiple fire rings out back and plenty of fallen wood to burn or you can purchase seasoned split wood bundles on site. Suggested Local Attractions: The property borders a public golf course, downtown Lake Orion or Oxford are less than 1.5 miles as is public access to All-Sports Lake Orion(the lake) as well as others in the area. Dozens of miles of hiking/mountain biking trails. Bald Mountain State Park and Addison Oaks trailheads 2 and 3 miles respectively. Disc Golf courses. Public beaches, paved trails, etc. Or you can just hang out and watch the various wildlife that frequent the property. At least a dozen breweries, distilleries, restaurants a couple miles away, easily able to walk/bike/drive.

This is a 76 acre farm in a rural agricultural area. &nbsp;Learn more about this land:This is a 76 acre "farm" that has been allowed to rest for the last 20 some years, surrounded by large agricultural fields.  There are areas of pasture, woods, and wetlands.  This is a very rustic piece of property, with no amenities.  Just a chance to get away for some fresh air.

Our little Prius did fine on the farm road, but it may have been tricky if it was wet. You could always park near the road and hike it!

B Mo's Hideout

42 private  acres for day use or tent camping. This is a clothing optional green space, walk the trails, play horse shoes bean bag toss or just sit back and relax. It's a great place to hang a hammock and chill or explore the woods, pick wild strawberries early summer raspberries mid summer and blueberries mid summer. Open from March 17th thru Oct 1st. Please call ahead for bookings between Mar 17 and April 14 for site conditions. Can accommodate small pop up trailers less than 20ft.  Check in times may very.  Car campers welcome.

WHAT'S NEW ON THE FARM 2025

This year we are expecting a foal (baby horse).  The end of April.

We are also milking a family cow for our own milk as well. Her name is Daisy.

We are also bottle feeding two calves at this time.

We will have Great Pyrenees puppies from April through mid July. Come and spend some time with them!

I have six children and hosted three foreign exchange students. I love kids, animals (especially horses) and nature. I love anything and everything about health and personal growth and well being.

ABOUT THE FARM

We have a working, organic farm with a lot of animals, however, we also do crops as well. This particular farm is 138 acres with 8 acres of woods. We have working dogs, sheep, cattle, horses,  a couple goatsWe have some super great animals. Most of which are very friendly.

You never know what will be available to see on the farm when you visit. We are expecting a foal (baby horse) this summer (2021)

and are already planning for another foal next summer as well. We often have puppies as well and sometimes we have to bottle feed lambs. There's never a dull moment.

Our farm is unique in the way of having a very positive VIBE to it. The energy is awesome! It's really a space of tranquility and healing if you allow yourself to go there.

After hosting with air bnb for a little over a year now, we decided to give this a try as well. We love hosting people and having them come to the farm and enjoy our way of life. It also helps to have a supplemental income as having and running a small family farm isn't very sustainable. Typically there's off the farm jobs to help pay for the farm life. It's a crazy equation. Small family farms are far and few between. Please support your local farmer if possible! It is greatly appreciated!

WaterFront Saginaw Bay - All Year

Waterfront on Quanicassee River at the mouth of Saginaw Bay. It has a lighted deck to fish from or enjoy sunsets right in front of the RV site.  Great location, 5 min from Hwy 25 (East of Bay CIty {20 minutes}, Frankenmuth just 35 minutes. 

 High Speed WiFi, Water & 50 amp Power; Sewer dump.  No playground equipment but one of the best RV sites in Michigan (that I have found).  The Quanicassee River is one of the cleanest rivers in our area. Lots of boats go out and in by the dock. DNR boat ramp near.  There are resident eagles, ducks, geese, swans, pelicans (rare) and lots of fish.

Our beautiful, 10-acre grounds include wooded and grassy areas, 14 different gardens, bridges, boardwalks, swings and benches, walking trails, and 17 historic buildings.

 Visit the beautiful Loop Harrison Mansion, General Store, one-room schoolhouse, Banner Cabin, our historic church and train depot, the hearse shed that houses our antique wooden hearse, and more.

Wildlife and nature abound.  Our peaceful and private grounds will be your camping oasis.  Within walking distance of beautiful Lake Huron with its beaches and marina and parks, plus the Port Sanilac Lighthouse (tours available on summer Fridays), and several bars and restaurants.

Check out our Farmers' Market on Fridays and catch a live play at the 150-year-old Barn Theatre. Take a guided tour of the beautiful Loop-Harrison Mansion, built in 1872.  Or hop on a 1917 open-air Model T or horse and carriage for a tour around town.

RV campers are welcomed to our beautiful 10-acre grounds at the Sanilac County Historic Village and Museum.  At this time, we do not allow tent campers.  

Campers are invited to use our two large communal bonfire pits.  Firewood is available for purchase.  Advance notice is recommended.

Guest WIFI is available in and near the Mansion but does not reliably connect to our camping areas.

Here you will find beauty, quiet, and privacy.  Be sure to wander our brick/stone path and nature trail that combine to make a one-mile walking path around the grounds.  You'll enjoy bridges, swings and benches to rest awhile, a boardwalk, a fairy garden, 14 flower gardens, birds and wildlife, and lots more!  The path also winds past each of our 17 historic buildings and the 1942 U.S. Army Troop Train.

Tour the beautiful Loop-Harrison Mansion, celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2022.  Enjoy a live performance at the Barn Theatre on Friday and Saturday evenings. Take a unique tour of Port Sanilac in our 1917, open-air Model T or horse and carriage.  

We are located within walking distance of beautiful Lake Huron, including a lakeside park, beach, harbor, and break wall.  Check out the live music at the harbor park every Saturday during the summer months.  The historic Port Sanilac Lighthouse (tours offered on Fridays) is also within walking distance, as well as restaurants, bars, and shopping.

Unionville Village Park

AS OF OCTOBER 31ST - 2025 THE CAMPGROUND IS CLOSED FOR THE WINTER - WILL REOPEN SPRING 2026

The Village recently installed four campsites equipped with water and electric service.

 Campsites are $20 per night.

 Free use of the RV dump station for registered campers.

An RV dump station is located at the corner of Brown and Pickle Streets.

The Center of Michigan's Thumb

A 2-acre field set up with sun shade sails and cooled by evening breezes, with picnic tables and fire pits available. A larger central fire pit is provided for group parties or reunions. 

Tent campsites are nearby under the trees for added privacy. This site can be used as a starting point to tour all three sides of the Thumb, as it is centrally located. Porta-potties, septic dump stations, and trash pickup are available.

Beautiful Lake Shawood Sanctuary

We are closed for the season. Have a wonderful fall and winter season. 
 
Beautiful camping experience on our little slice of heaven. Lake Shawood is a beautiful, natural spring-fed, non-motorized lake that primarily borders the City of Novi's exquisite Lakeshore Park. Lakeshore Park has everything from playgrounds for very young children and older children, to picnic pavillions and a sandy beach, and miles of hiking, running, and biking trails. 

We fell in love with this property the second we walked behind the old cottage.

I love nature and being outdoors, especially hiking and biking. We are still making improvements on the land with a small garden, which you are welcome to enjoy during your stay. Our big-picture vision is to renovate the old cottage and live in it.

This property is about 1/3 of an acre and has 1 large old oak tree and garden beds with flowers, herbs, and vegetables. (You can help yourself to any of the fruits or vegetables that are ripe)

We are on an old smaller home/cottage-style small residential street. Please keep in mind, that this is a spot for family and friend fun with the awareness of keeping it a sanctuary space for the neighbors as well. 

Enchanting Lakefront Camping Site

Pitch your tent and bring your family and children to our exquisitely beautiful site. The property sits on Shawood Lake, a non-motorized private waterfront site. There’s plenty of room to park your car, pitch a tent, enjoy a campfire, and the beauty of all types of birds (swans, geese, ospreys, and the occasional bald eagle), and animal life. The sunsets in this area are breathtaking.

Take a short 30-second walk and enjoy Pavilion Shore Park, a family-oriented park with a playground, swimming, fishing pier, and waterfront seating of Walled Lake. You’ll also find public restrooms which are open until 10 pm through the summer and a restaurant across the street.

We also have a portable camping toilet with a nice pop-up tent for privacy. 

Lakeshore Park is a 5-minute walk, an 11-acre park with volleyball, swimming, bike, and hiking trails (more than 10 miles of mountain biking and multi-purpose trails), horseshoe pits, BBQs, picnic shelters, and play structures.

Morgan's Place

Morgan's Place is a nonprofit campground serving people who have been injured in traumatic accidents to full recovery. We also offer Hipcamp stays and Airbnb rentals so our visitors who are in recovery do not have to pay out of pocket during their stay if they cannot. We located on 37 beautiful acres outside of Millington, Michigan and only 15 minutes from Frankenmuth and Birch Run.  We have hiking trails, little goats, chickens, fishing, kayak rental and/or drop off/pick up at Cass River, and offer yoga classes, karaoke on certain nights, and blacksmithing demonstrations! There is a 4 person camper on site to rent if needed or we offer water/electric and tent sites too just ask.

6+ Acre Rustic Forest Camp

Tucked away on over 6 acres of quiet woods, this rustic campsite invites you to slow down and soak in the simple joys of nature. 

Fall asleep to the songs of crickets and frogs, wake up to birdsong, and watch turtles sun themselves by the pond.

Wander through the woods, spot wildlife among the trees, or simply sit still and let the forest come to you.

This is a place to breathe deeper, laugh louder, and let the everyday fade away.

Enjoy over 6 acres of peaceful woods and open clearings—an authentic Pure Michigan getaway.

Easy access with pull-through spots, perfect for RVs and trailers.

Pets are welcome—bring your furry friends along for the adventure.

No electricity onsite, but generators are welcome if you need a little extra power.

No potable water source available—please bring your own drinking water.

Clean, well-maintained porta potty for your convenience.

The Wind Down Depot

The wind down depot is an old train station cut in half and moved to the middle of the woods. We have lots of walking trails. Animals of all sorts can be seen all day. The flower garden is always loud with buzzing. The slab of concrete is ready for parking. Power available 20, 30 and 50 amp. Hose spigot too off the house. It’s secluded and private. Offers nature and views from the site to the pond and creek. Town is 5 miles away. The property is completely wooded.

Please note: a train passes by the front of the property several times a day. While some find it grounding and nostalgic, others may wish to bring earplugs if they’re sensitive to sound.
