I loved the view! Granted it was very windy the day I stayed there so that’s something to consider since your by lake. Very easy to get to the site and overall pretty clean. Had some clutter here and there but not a big deal. My only major critique is one, maybe put stone down on the path to the beach because it had really deep ruts and it was very muddy. I got my car stuck quite a few times. The other is the shower water did not really get warm. Again, not the end of the world but addressing those few things would make the site even better than it already is. Overall I’d give it an 8/10

Had a great time here! We rented the RV on site, it was lovely and easy to set up in, and although we didn't use it having the TV with movies was a cute touch. We love staying at Trail 76! Clay is a great host, very helpful and prompt in communications. His spot is really amazing - private, quiet but has all the amenities of a regular campground and it’s also close to trails and town. This was our second stay and we’ll be back for sure. Local spots: Breakfast at Moose and Stella’s is awesome. Dinner at Trout Town Tavern is delicious. Cherry Street Market is amazing for produce, baked goods, jam, plants and yard decorations. Manistee Lake Bakery is perfect for ice cream and pizza.

Quick and easy campsite. Nothing fancy, but a really nice view by the water and all the essentials. Andrew was extremely communicative and accommodating (we changed to the other beach view site last minute). The only downside to the site was the bugs. It was fairly windy the first night so it was no issue, but the second night they were relentless - bring bug spray or some type of netting. No issues during the day time though. Good location, close to some hiking locations and parks. Easy to get to.

Beautiful, peaceful private property with lovely views surrounding it. There are two RV spaces, but I was there alone most of the time. Wendy was good at communicating and provided a suggestion of a local place to stop at. I will likely stop at Wendy's again the next time I'm in the area. I definitely recommend her property!
