We have four campsites available and each site has a fire pit and cooking grate. We have 2 tent only sites, one site that'll fit a pop-up camper and/or a tent, and a fourth that will fit a tent, pop-up, or camper/RV.
One of our sites is very remote and is walk-in only, so we do provide wheeled carts to make hauling your gear easy! The other 3 allow for vehicle access.
Stop by our storefront for firewood, fresh organic chicken eggs, local honey, and more for purchase. You can also find wild strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries during the spring/summer months.
We are dog friendly, but all pets must be on a leash at all times, to respect other campers.
With the maps provided, feel free to walk our cut trails that wind throughout the property. Enjoy the serenity of our rippling creek, and watch for wildlife such as grouse, deer, bear, bobcat, elk, and more!
We do raise pheasants for release, so don't be shocked if you spook one up on the trail!
You can also hit the public trails next door on State Land and walk for miles and miles.
We are only 4.4 miles to and from I75, with easy access to Gaylord, Petoskey, Mackinac, and just down the road from downtown Wolverine and Indian River.

Phil is a world renown Game maker who makes Games and interesting items, which he makes in his shop on site. Sends it all around the world. Besides meeting Phil and Chit chatting, because we are both Hip Camp Hosts, Phil gave us a tour of his Shop and woodworking area. Pretty impressive. He was a great host, and is Passionate about Kubb, a Yard game that was originally played overseas, but because of Phi, brought the game to the US. He actually has his own playing field. Phil has a very nice little setup on his property. The sites are nice and the shower is nice. I highly recommend staying there if you don't like high volume campgrounds and just want peace and quiet.

Great spot to camp while on a long motorcycle tour. Ted was prompt with his communication. His site has everything you need. Power for charging your phone, an outdoor shower, a table with a couple chairs next to a fire ring and a clean porta-potty. If you don’t feel like cooking ride into Boyne City and go to Santé. The food was excellent.

A quiet day in paradise. Campsites are very large with fire pit and a bin of free wood is provided on site between the solar showers and portapots. So much beautiful land to walk and explore. If you like a crowd this is not for you. Most times I have been here, there were less than a handful of campers.

The school bus was great! We took our 2 year old on a long trip in Michigan and stayed at multiple 5 star hotels. What was his favorite? The school bus! We enjoyed late night fires and easy slow wake ups! Our son particularly enjoyed opening and closing the bus door manually. In summary, we made fond memories in the school bus!
