There is a casino located in Petoskey on Little Traverse Bay of Lake Michigan as well as Mackinaw, and are a short drive away! Take a jump off the breakwall, or visit the newest bridge at Boyne Mountain Resort, just a stone's throw away! Relax in peace, the woods, and enjoy a little slice of heaven. We enjoyed staying in the Cabin 1. It was clean and perfect size for a couple with a dog. The washrooms were clean. The location is very convenient to make day trips to everywhere close by. (Historic Fishtown in Leland the Mackinaw Island, Traverse city, the Earl Young's Mushroom Houses, Tunnel of Trees scenic drive ) beautiful area to discover and enjoy what they offered. We had a Hungarian Mudi sheepdog enjoyed the freedom in the green fields. I describe this place that Freedom -Nature-Music as an old time 'hippi camp for everyone who loves being in nature. We enjoyed 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend, simple cabin set up - appreciated the bathroom and small kitchen area… (normally tent camp) Queen and twin bed in each cabin as well. The beach was wonderful for rock hunting, we saw a bald eagle swoop down while eating breakfast out there too! Close to the bridge - great starting point for a UP and/or Mackinac Island day trip!

Visit some of the local beautiful farms such as Friske's, Lavendar Hill, local farmers markers, and vineyards! There is a casino located in Petoskey on Little Traverse Bay of Lake Michigan as well as Mackinaw, and are a short drive away! Take a jump off the breakwall, or visit the newest bridge at Boyne Mountain Resort, just a stone's throw away! Relax in peace, the woods, and enjoy a little slice of heaven. There is no electricity, running water, or trash services. Please pack in, pack out. Please do not leave discarded or broken beer or alcohol bottles on property. There are over 30 fruit trees on site, from Black Pearl and Bing Cherries, Apricots, Peach trees, Honeycrisp apples trees etc, 250 sunflower seeds were also planted this season. This is a very delicate area near a local watershed source, Deer Creek, wetlands on property, and also fruit tree farm in it's early stages, organic strawberries, and organic raspberries growing as well.
