Pineleaf is a private setting in the forest with rolling hills and trails on the property. There's an abundance of wildlife consisting of, but not limited to bears, bobcats, porcupines and deer. It's a true nature lover's dream! For the rockhounds, there are Petoskey Stones, Emeralds, Opals and many other gems to enjoy finding among the trails and beaches. Our trails lead right off the property among the lakes and streams. All side x sides, ATVS, dirt bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, or fishing boats Welcome! We are located close to Torch Lake, Elk Lake, Otsego Lake, and many more! Come enjoy Lake Michigan beaches, lighthouses, parks, restaurants, casinos, and local shopping. Nearby cities include Traverse City, Petoskey, Gaylord, and Boyne City. Pineleaf has a total of 4 campsites! 3 are primitive and 1 rustic cabin with more cabins to come in the near future. The primitive sites sleep up to 15 people and 8 tents. The cabin sleeps up to 5 guests and is handicap accessible! and can also put tents near the cabin. The camp is cannabis friendly for 21+ with id and complimentary with the exception if you dont want to smoke/cunsume cannabis its optional. No alcohol allowed at the camp but you may go up town or down to The Hideaway Bar & Grill for a bite and a drink!

Bunkhouse in the Pines sits under a pine tree canopy surrounded by a beautiful 11 acre forest, creek, and wetland.  It is centrally located to many attractions just minutes away: The Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, Beaches, Fishing, Wineries, Cool Shops, Farms Stands, Kayaking, Biking/Hiking Trails, and Traverse City. Come commune with nature and enjoy the awesome and uplifting vibe of the Leelanau Peninsula for the ultimate Eco experience! The small quaint town of Cedar, located just 3 miles away, has Buntings Market, The Cedar Tavern, an ice cream shop, new coffee house, and other eclectic shops.  The bunkhouse is cozy and small (125 SQFT) and a perfect base camp for a good night sleep. It has a king size bed (twin beds set up available in extras), small refrigerator, two fans (no air conditioning), microwave, toaster, and electric tea kettle. The outdoor private space next to the cabin includes a table and chairs, propane grill,  and a spacious campfire area. The rustic out-building has hot and cold water for the shower, double stainless sink and a counter to prepare meals on. The kitchen is appointed with two stainless steel pots, large cast iron frying pan, colander,  cooking utensils, plates, bowls, cups, silverware, can opener, and metal hot dog/marshmallow skewers for campfire. Please bring your own bath and beach towels, bug spray, and bug free firewood. Kids? Dogs? Additional Guests? You can set up your tent or pop-up camper. Smoking of tobacco products on property is generally discouraged. Thanks!
