We loved camping on Chucks land. Location was easy to find and firewood was provided. The views are truly spectacular it’s a perfect stargazing location. We also had our 2 dogs off leash. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a private hilltop camping spot .

Lee's property is along the beautiful Intermediate Lake and while it's not directly on the waterfront, the property sits where the road curves and there's a beautiful, open view of the lake. The designated spot(s) for camping are located out behind the stone house (residence), in a grassy area that butts up to the garage. I believe that there are two spots for camping although I'm not certain how all that works. I would call the area semi-private rather than private since it's mostly in full view of the residence. There are some privacy trees/shrubs that create a bit of separation. It's quiet and peaceful and in my opinion a much better experience than most campgrounds!

Better than described! Chuck was a fantastic communicator in advance and while on-site. The views are stunning, the campsite was well cared for, as were the mowed paths/trails. Wildflowers were abundant. Host provided ample dry wood for the fire, which was much appreciated after striking out with crummy wood we purchased from a local roadside stand. We were able to watch the Buck full moon rise over the lake, take in a stunning sunset, peek the stars, and even see some fireworks over the lake.

We took the site at the end of the 2 track, had a fire pit and room for our 20 foot sleeper van. It’s in a pine forest, at the edge of a large field. Very peaceful. Dillon was very communicative. I would stay again.

Incredible views of the lake and the sunrise, very private. We had some slight communication issues upon arrival but that was mainly on our part. We got that resolved and had a nice time staying. I’d stay again in the future.
