The cabin is located on a rural road that is a five minute drive to downtown Onancock, which offers a coffee shop, several restaurants, bakery, shops, Saturday farmers’ market, and the harbor. Chincoteague and the famous ponies are 35 minutes north, and bougie Cape Charles is 40 minutes south.
When you open the door to this 300’ gem, you will step back in time to a simpler way of life. This century-old building was moved to the site and has been brought back to life, preserving the original character, while adding the creature comforts we love of today. Soaring 12 foot ceilings provide a spacious air, and the original wood interior offer charm and patina that simply cannot be manufactured. In the past, it was a barber shop and then a poker joint.
This place is a design nerd’s dream, a clever combination of old, new, and vintage pieces, handmade pottery and art, with close attention paid to each chosen piece.
Lace curtains and blackout blinds cover all your light preferences for peaceful sleeping. The queen bed is a high end hybrid mattress with traditional coil base and memory foam top. A giant 55” TV is directly across from the bed for cozy streaming.
The modern bathroom has a vintage wall sink found on site, and terrific water pressure from a rain shower head with instant, never ending Rinnai hot water.
The kitchen has an ample antique sideboard as your sink, apartment size refrigerator, induction hot plate, coffee, microwave, and combo convection toaster oven/air fryer. The marble table seats two. A comfortable down-filled loveseat adds another lounge option. You will enjoy all the artistic touches around the room.

During the summer/fall months the fields are grown up in Corn and Soybeans. During the winter/spring months, after the harvest, the fields are open.
The campsite is located close to Pitcher Dam Creek, where you are welcome to put your Kayak over and fish for Snakeheads!
The space is also a perfect spot for hunters to lodge while they are hunting on public land at Blackwater Refuge or private land in Cambridge/Dorchester County!

The Guinea farm is 18 acres of feild and forest on the rural middle pennensula. Only 1 mile from 2 separate secluded beaches and a boat launch. There is verly little traffic or light polution here, nature is at your fingertips.
Come visit the farm and experience agrotourism at it's finest. Pick your own veggies in the community garden and meet the Guinea fowl! Enjoy the windernes and learn about the local ecosystem here on the middle pennensula.
There are 3 sites spaced out across the 18 acres set apart for privacy. Wisteria is a primative site closer to the entrance gate. Trilogy is a suspended tree tent in the pines 700' beyond that and seperated by dense forest. Stargazer Tiny cabin is an offgrid rustic camping cabin on the back side of the property.
Each site is surronded by several acres of forest and close to the edge of a large feild. There are romaing guinea fowl that may come make a very loud appearance as they canvas the property eating bugs. Deer, Turkeys, Bald Eagles, foxes, and other wildlife are common guests also. Mid-summer is what I call frog season, Tree frogs are abundant and provide a wonderful soundtrack.
There are free to use bicycles, an axe throwing board, and cornhole boards available.
4 miles from shopping and dining in Mathews Virginia, 15 miles to Gwynn Island. Gwynn's Island is an island located in the Chesapeake Bay off of Virginia's Middle Peninsula. The island is located in the northeast part of Mathews County, south of the mouth of the Piankatank River. It is connected to the rest of the county by a swing bridge over Milford Haven.

The campsite is in the middle of a farm field next to a wildlife impediment, behind our farm barn and our home. For the past two years an osprey has built a nest in the field adjacent to the campsite! Thee campsite has a picnic table, fire pit, and composting toilet within an outhouse! During the summer/fall months the fields are grown up in Corn and Soybeans. During the winter/spring months, after the harvest, the fields are open.
The campsite is located close to Pitcher Dam Creek, where you are welcome to put your Kayak over and fish for Snakeheads!
The space is also a perfect spot for hunters to lodge while they are hunting on public land at Blackwater Refuge or private land in Cambridge/Dorchester County!

With 15,000 wooded acres, Pocomoke River State Park’s claim to fame is its stand of loblolly pine and cypress swamps bordering a wild and scenic river. It’s divided into two parts, Shad Landing (south side) and Milburn Landing (north side), which are about a 25 minute drive apart. The Guinea farm is 18 acres of feild and forest on the rural middle pennensula. Only 1 mile from 2 separate secluded beaches and a boat launch. There is verly little traffic or light polution here, nature is at your fingertips.
Come visit the farm and experience agrotourism at it's finest. Pick your own veggies in the community garden and meet the Guinea fowl! Enjoy the windernes and learn about the local ecosystem here on the middle pennensula.
There are 3 sites spaced out across the 18 acres set apart for privacy. Wisteria is a primative site closer to the entrance gate. Trilogy is a suspended tree tent in the pines 700' beyond that and seperated by dense forest. Stargazer Tiny cabin is an offgrid rustic camping cabin on the back side of the property.
Each site is surronded by several acres of forest and close to the edge of a large feild. There are romaing guinea fowl that may come make a very loud appearance as they canvas the property eating bugs. Deer, Turkeys, Bald Eagles, foxes, and other wildlife are common guests also. Mid-summer is what I call frog season, Tree frogs are abundant and provide a wonderful soundtrack.
There are free to use bicycles, an axe throwing board, and cornhole boards available.
4 miles from shopping and dining in Mathews Virginia, 15 miles to Gwynn Island. Gwynn's Island is an island located in the Chesapeake Bay off of Virginia's Middle Peninsula. The island is located in the northeast part of Mathews County, south of the mouth of the Piankatank River. It is connected to the rest of the county by a swing bridge over Milford Haven.

Toddville Maryland "The Land That Time Forgot" is a beautiful undeveloped land scape. in its glory days there was a town with everything that you needed that was based on the fishing and crabbing industry today there is still many operations but the majority of the town and homes have been abandoned which has given way to untouched landscape with wild life everywhere. you will have great views of the water ways and wild life with peace and quit and privacy.
This camp site is behind our small general store which opens at the end of October 2024
Also the area is prone to regular tides/tidal rise, if there is any major storm off the coast of a full moon roads will get water on them

Beautiful farm and thoughtfully-provisioned accommodations. This place has it all! We got to see all three shelters and each was well-constructed, comfortable, fun, and made it easy for longer-term stays without having to pack up the car. The guinea fowl are a riot and the chickens are really fun for the kids. Having two wide open beaches within a short walk, close access to s grocery store, and fantastic stargazing made this the perfect balance of nature and convenience. Ian is a welcoming host! We will be back!

The Wisteria Treehouse is a magical place. Both adults and children loved it. Not only is it super cool to camp in a treehouse but it's also beautifully built too. The upper treehouse looks like a ships hold with portholes and everything
The site had everything we needed and the proximity to the beach was great. Ian was super helpful and brought us a propane tank when we ran out of gas for the camp stove. Thanks for the great stay!

It’s a beautiful spot. Clean Porta potty, table, chair, and kayaks to use. Some trees for shade and a hammock. The beauty is perfect. It is close to the road and visible to cars passing by, but the night time hours quiet down. I would visit again.

Ian was a great host. We got the add on of meet and greet the guinea fowl and Ian gave us an informative and fun tour. My favorite part was the names of the chickens and one very large turkey! We got to see brand new baby chicks and a few hatching. There are three sites that are set far enough apart to make you feel like you are the only people there. We stayed at Trilogy but will be looking to book the tree house on our next trip out.

This campsite was amazing, it exceeded my husband's and my expectations. The campsite was big and beautiful, with the most gorgeous view of the sunset you could imagine. The site was clean and well maintained. We saw many beautiful birds in the water. It had chairs and a charcoal grill, along with a huge fire pit. We did not see another human during our stay which was fantastic as we can to unplug and unwind with our pup. It was safe for our small dog. We were only able to stay one night as we were taking advantage of an unusually warm March day but we would definitely like to come back in the summer or fall to stay two or more nights.

Weekend Trip to The Guinea Farm, Field, and Forest
Such a unique and private treehouse adventure!
The main house and other 2 sites were almost completely hidden behind trees outlining a small open field that was perfect for stargazing.
I loved having the option of sleeping in the treehouse or on the cots in the tent that was securely anchored to the elevated wooden platform.
The porch area leading into the treehouse had 2 camp chairs, which created the perfect lookout to enjoy morning coffee and the gas cooktop/grill provided a convenient, covered area to cook breakfast.
Ian, the host, maintained excellent communication from booking to checkout and responded quickly when I had questions about the battery operated light switches and WiFi connection.
Having several beach options just a few minutes drive away was better than I hoped considering the ease of access and how few people were at the beaches. For a while I had Aaron’s Beach completely to myself!
Staying at the Wisteria Treehouse is now my favorite “glamping” get away and look forward to returning soon!

Oh my gosh, this cabin is everything. From the front porch to the kitchen and every little detail made the cabin feel like home. Great location to everything that makes the eastern shore special and Mona was incredibly helpful sharing recommendations on places to eat and things to do! The cabin itself was really cute and functional. We were there in February when it was cold and rainy and stayed warm and cozy. Being so close to beaches was amazing, beautiful places in every direction and the property itself was also really spacious and cool. What a lovely little weekend getaway. Just right for our Valentines Weekend 💝. Loved the extra touches like k cup coffee machine with cups and creamer shower shampoo and body wash, fresh towels and warm blankets. Glad there was a little fridge for dinner leftovers too. We enjoyed meeting the sheep too.
