In 1831 formerly Northern's Mill had an old mill house, dwelling house, outbuildings, mill pond and water courses with about 31 acres and was bought for an enormous amount of $10.00! At the working mill the owner's wife baked pies for the workers to enjoy while they waited for their ground grains (most likely corn, soybeans and wheat). The pond is also recognized as Courtney Mill Pond and Kissinger Mill Pond. Fires in the 1980's have claimed the building creating a perfect place for you to enjoy nature outside. Bald Eagles are a common siting. We offer a primitive camping experience in the heart of the Northern Neck.  The road is washed out and fresh water pond mostly drained. You will access from Mundy Point Road. This historical site had a working Mill built in the early 1800's. Please check out my friend's place nearby at Callao Brewery and Rivah Vineyards at the Grove!  Grab some fresh local veggies from one of the Amish stands and don't forget your tackle and bait at RW's. Located 2 miles from Rt.50 and 5 miles from Rt.13 our rural property provides a safe spot to overnight. Your small RV, compact trailer or campervan must be completely self-contained. There are no hookups, no bathrooms and no amenities. You are welcomed to stretch your legs on the woodland trails and enjoy the property or plane spot out front on the closed road! The Small Spot is simply rustic parking on a gravel pad in the woods located across from our residence. It's appropriate for travelers passing through or those in town for a few days who will be out & about needing a place for evening rest. It is not somewhere to set up elaborate camp or hang out 'round the clock.

Just as shown. Reviews are correct. Excellent location and private. Only critique would be that it is just off a rural highway, but truthfully there is only about one car every 5 minutes during the day, and then virtually none at night. We would definitely stay here again.

TJ’s directions were super clear and he was accommodating to our late arrival. We were in town for a baseball tournament, and this location made for easy travel back and forth. Our kids loved visiting with the goats and fishing in the pond (lots of little bass reeled in)!

Was everything we expected it to be. Site was nice and flat restrooms were clean and well maintained. The goats came to visit the first day we were set up they hung out for a few and went on their way. It was late in the season so activity was minimal which worked out well for us.

Beautiful site - they aren’t kidding about the stunning sunsets! Quick drive to some stunning hiking spots - Trap Pond, Assateague, etc. Having a plumbed in bathroom and hot shower was an added bonus.

The property at Strawberry Crossroads is beautiful! I’m just sorry I didn’t get to spend more leisure time there, as I had to work in town every day. It is only 17 miles from the beach resort town of Ocean City, yet you feel far removed from the crowds etc…Our host TJ was super hospitable, yet left you to your privacy. He would even deliver firewood, if needed! I will definitely stay again & also recommend to others!

Very easy to find and set up camp. The farm is well organized and easy to navigate. TJ is a fantastic host, very helpful and quick to respond. The farm is close to various activities including hiking, fishing and the beach. The farm animals roaming the grounds add a fun and cute element to the stay as well. Would stay again.
