Michelle's cabin was a great spot to stay overnight, she was communicative and clear with directions and always easy to get in touch with. The cabin was quaint, cosy and fit 3 people without a problem, the outhouse and shower were clean and super helpful, too - definitely would stay again!

Weekend Trip to Graham Cracker Cabin and Campsites

This was my first Hipcamp and it was great. The cabin had everything we needed and though it definitely got cold, as we were visiting in mid-November, a fire and plenty of blankets kept us warm through the nights. This is a lovely little camping and so peaceful!

Rebecca is a wonderful host. Always new projects being worked on making Mullen Grove even more spectacular. Rebecca's location is very peaceful and quiet. 4 nights at Graham Cracker Cabin and Campsites

Super helpful hosts and a nice Hipcamp. It is as advertised for the most part being a rustic cabin. We've stayed in many rustic cabins through Hipcamp. A few things to note: Even though there is a woodstove (we used every night to keep us warm) the cabin does not hold heat because the walls to the cabin have large gaps so we had to use 4 bundles of hardwood a night to keep it comfortable at night (temps in the 20° to mid 30°s) We were somewhat prepared because we knew it wasn't insulated but we were not expecting the amount of heat loss due to all the gaps in the cabin. There are other campsites on the property which are a good distance away (some within sight) We got a little freaked out by a group of campers walking up to the cabin at 10:30 at night and waking us up. (Definitely not the host's fault) but just be aware it's not the most secluded. Being in the cabin it was a little quieter but this spot is off a main road so there is a bit of noise from that but definitely not something that would completely deter me. The host was very helpful when we mentioned that we'd like to drive up to the cabin. They told us we were not able to do that (I'd just suggest taking that as an option off the listing because we chose this site in part because of that having 4wd) but they offered to help us bring our stuff with another wagon attached to the owners tractor which was very nice. Weekend Trip to Cabin of the Woods at Tilden Pond

Robert's cabin at Tilden Pond is a wonderfully secluded get away spot with a beautiful woods walk (15mins) to the pond. We were happy about being able to park next to the cabin for easy unloading of gear. We liked making meals over a camp stove we brought and at the fire pit to calls of loons and owls. We brought our own tent but opted to stay in the cabin on the cots provided, which were comfortable with our sleeping pads and bags. Our dog loved having the woods to romp in unleashed. The sunset at the pond was a highlight. On a future trip we hope to take advantage of the double kayak. We saw others kayaking, sailing, and fishing off in the distance. Robert has done a good job repairing the road recently but it is important to have a truck or vehicle with good clearance to drive in. We loved having both Belfast and Camden only minutes away.

Weekend Trip to Flag Hill Farm And Forest

We had the most amazing experience here and I already can’t wait to plan our next visit to really just enjoy the site more! But it was absolutely STUNNING, the views were beautiful and so much care was put into every part of the site. I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience on my first solo trip with my pup! We heard lots of different animals during the night especially and it was really just magical!

We had a short but really nice visit. You have be ready for rustic vibe. It was cozy and the electric heater came in handy. I wish we had more time to explore the grounds but we were just passing through. Would absolutely recommend a visit.

We stopped by Randy's on our way to Baxter State Park! A-Frame was so cozy, clean and private!! Randy came out to greet us since we were having a little trouble getting here later at night. Very friendly. The outdoor shower is very cool and everything is well thought out. Would recommend to everyone and hope for the chance to come back.

This was a great spot that has everything you could need. The prep table was great. Toilet situation was ok but knew that going in. Make sure to bring lanterns as the walk to the outhouse in the night is rocky. There was plenty of room to spread out and my dog loved exploring.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin was cozy with everything we needed for cooking right on hand. Super easy to get to, which made the trip more relaxing. The location was prime, about 100 yards of waterfront to enjoy, with sunny mornings and shady afternoons that were perfect for hanging out. Our two dogs had the best time. We’d absolutely come back!
