Recently selectively logged we discovered views of local mountains and decided to take advantage of the clearings. The cabin was built for me to steal away from the house and enjoy the wildlife, quiet, stars and silence. It is too peaceful to keep to myself so come and enjoy all that Norway Maine and the surrounding area has to offer!

Welcome to Lulu's. Where you can get a little crazy under the moon or you can take in the peace and serenity of the stillness in the woods. Depends on what you are looking for! No neighbors to infringe on your ideal get away. The large cabin has a welcoming front porch to enjoy the amazing sunrises over Streaked Mtn. 100 acres of privacy to hike, watch wildlife and just relax. Cabin has outside facilities. Off the grid-no electric or running water. Cell service is adequate. 1 gallon of fresh well water provided for drinking and 10 gallons for washing/cooking.
Bring your own linens for a queen size bed, twin bunk beds and a full pull out couch. 2 pillows are supplied with a pillow protective cover and pillow case which are washed after each guest. Pots, pans and utensils, are onsite which are washed between campers; trash bags, compost bags, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a 2 burner propane stove(green canisters needed) and an older propane table top grill are provided. Camp fire grill on site if you prefer cooking over open flame. There are some battery operated light switches and solar lights in the camp and outhouse. Downtown Norway has quaint shops to browse! Norway Lake has a public beach and boat dock. Many hiking trails nearby-Noyes Mtn, Patch Mnt, Singpole and Streaked Mtn to name a few. ATV trails (also can be used for off-road biking)onsite connect with other towns for many miles and hours of riding. Plenty of lakes/rivers for kayaking. Casino, race track and breweries for night life. Oxford Hills has much to offer.

We are one of the first farms in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire and was originally the first stage coach stop for the area. Our house built in 1750s and at one point had hundreds of acres passed down which were passed down
from a kings grant The original area was named after the original settlers, the Browns. Our house was also tavern in the beginning. This property has only passed hands through 4 families and remained with the Browns for most of its life.
It has stayed as a farm for most of its tenure. We own 40 acres of pasture and woods and would love for you to come stay!

Everything exceeded our expectations. The check in instructions were super clear and easy to follow, and the cabin was everything and more! We had our two dogs with us and they were able to be off leash while we were there and they LOVED it. A dreamy escape from everyday life!

Lulu’s cabin is in a beautiful location, surrounded by nature. We even had a doe grazing just 50 feet away for almost an hour! Our dog loved it too, and there are endless great hiking options within an hour’s drive. We had a wonderful stay!

The location was easy to locate and access. My dog and I were able to drive up and down the hill without issue. The area was all setup so perfectly. The fire pit area was beautiful and safely tucked up away from the cabin, with the outhouse on the opposite side. Waking up to a sunrise like this one was unforgettable. The night sky was so beautiful and so clear. It's was an exceptional experience to say the least! My dog and I are excited to come back again soon and spend more time out on the trails, that are only steps away from the front porch. ❤️

I almost hate to leave a review because I want to keep this little piece of heaven all to ourselves. Gorgeous views and just rustic enough, but still with key comforts. Cozy beds, cook ware essentials, outdoor "kitchen" station with a killer view, quirky little touches, and a great porch. The chipmunks (red squirrels?) kept our dog very busy "hunting". No worries, she didn't catch anything, they just teased her with their chirping. We watched the full moon come up over the trees and cooked dinner over the fire. Can't wait to come back!

Staying at Linda’s cabin was a real treat. It offered a wonderful sense of privacy and had views that were truly refreshing. My dog absolutely loved the space to explore freely. The outdoor area around the fire pit was perfect for relaxing evenings, and the night sky was absolutely captivating. Inside, the cabin was cozy and very inviting, making it a perfect getaway

The cabin is adorable and simple with rustic charm, but the porch is my absolute favorite part. The view is spectacular and it’s the perfect place to sit and stare or read a book. There’s a little outdoor kitchen area where my kids delighted in doing dishes, even though they would never do them at home. The pup also enjoyed sniffing around camp off leash. Bring dry firewood for campfire cooking and be sure your car can handle a bumpy ride, the driveway is very rocky. My Outback did ok, but my husband’s sedan would never make it. Also be prepared for a primitive toilet bucket situation.

4 nights at Colby's Cabin
We loved Colby's cabin! It was quiet, comfy and felt like home after weeks of primitive camping. Loved the Cribbage table, plant and bird ID cards, running water and stocked kitchen.
The flowers and new front deck were added bonuses. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The cabin layout was perfect for the room, and the decor made it feel so homey! Mosquito nets on the doors were so welcome!

Weekend Trip to Colby's Cabin
Colby's Cabin was just great. I used it as a base camp to investigate surrounding waterfalls in Maine and New Hampshire over a few days. Note: If you're going after Angel Falls during the spring season of road washouts, rent a tank. Those roads are treacherous! I made a bunch of new memories, took some great pictures, and endured the consequences of my own poor choices!
Back to the cabin, it's well-appointed for an extended stay. The kitchen is well-equipped, the propane stove works well, and all the solar-charged LED lights work very well. The JoTul wood stove is perhaps oversized for Colby's Cabin; that thing is a blast furnace! Guaranteed to keep you toasty even in the cold winter.
If there's anything to be wary of, it's the road up to the cabin. An all-wheel drive vehicle with good ground-clearance is absolutely required. Also, owing to its construction and orientation, the inside of the cabin is on the dark side even during midday. Thankfully, there are plenty of lights and candles available!
I also enjoyed the guestbook, reading about all the warmth and love that has passed through the cabin over the years.

Cabin was absolutely cozy and it’s nice to go back when times are simple. A simple walk in nature with a child experiencing and teaching things that we learned as children was so meaningful for all of us and we anticipate returning for a longer stay. Aranka by far is the best hostess I have encountered. The farm fresh eggs were delicous. Can’t wait to return.

Lovely cabin! The log walls lend so much charm. The Jotul wood stove is easy to work with and burns very efficiently. We loved the motion-activated lighting that made it easy to move around (with few windows, the interior of the cabin is quite dark). Several solar- and battery-powered lamps located throughout create very nice ambiance, but if you need lots of light for focused tasks (like reading, assembling puzzles, and knitting) you might want to bring extra lanterns and headlamps. During our 2-night stay, some of the lamps burned out and we were glad to have headlamps to fill in. There's not a lot of room to roam around outside the cabin (we went for a walk in the woods but encountered No Trespassing signs before we'd wandered too far) but if you're ready to drive to activities, or to cozy inside for quiet cabin time as we did, this is a fantastic retreat.

Super relaxing, the cabin had charm to it. If you need an escape from the noise of modern-day life but don't want to rough it this is it. The cabin stayed very warm on cold winter nights getting close to single digits. We plan on visiting again. Aranka was an incredible host!
