Our guests are welcome to kayak, canoe, swim, fish, and paddle board from the shores of The Queen’s Property, or one of 5 Right of Ways on Watkins Shores Road owned by our Association. Access to your private waterfront is a short stroll through our woods. Explore the historic oceanfront City of Portland, or the local Towns of Windham, Naples, or Bridgton. Portland is a 35 minute drive from The Queen's Property. The coastline around Portland is rugged and attractive with world-famous lighthouses dotted along its shorelines. Numerous locally owned shops and nationally recognized restaurants can be found tucked into its many harbors and shorelines. Closer to camp, enjoy strolling through the Town of Naples. What a great site! I returned to this hipcamp because of the privacy, ease of booking and communication, and of course the site itself. Even with a frosty layer of snow we had no trouble getting to the site. The fairytale lights in the tree made the site feel more enchanting. This time I even preordered some fresh eggs, which the owner’s thoughtfully brought out and had ready for me soon my arrival. I truly look forward to returning once the weather warms up. Thank you for letting stay!

We loved this amazing camp, peaceful and quiet and great for our dogs. The site is very spacious and easy to get in and out, even with a larger RV. It’s nice to be so close to the water. One of our dogs is reactive and this is a perfect Hipcamp for him where we can all relax together. Will definitely be back.

1 night at Mountain Brook Hideaway

I really enjoyed this Hipcamp site. The hosts were quick to respond and even set up the fire pit with wood. It was private, clean, and even lit with lights in the tree above the picnic table. One of the things that I loved about this site is the ability to buy fresh eggs or firewood if needed. I will definitely remember that in the future when I return.

This spot was amazing and exactly as advertised. It was so quiet and peaceful, but we weren't so out in the woods that we felt uncomfortable or too isolated. The layout is simple so setting up our camper was easy, and the area is cozy.

We had such a great time at camp brave n it! We had acres of beautiful wooded land with hiking trails right outside our door all to ourselves! Kennebunk was a short drive away, but we honestly spent more time just enjoying our site. We also came also a local brewery up the road called Funky Bow that I definitely recommend checking out! Ryan went above and beyond to help us out during our recent trip to New Hampshire. Originally booked just a few nights, but we ended up extending the stay to just over a week. Ryan's site was perfect for what we needed and was easy to get in and out of. We used Beaver Pond Campground at Bear Brook State Park to dump the tanks in our RV. Thanks!!

This place is an absolute gem! Plenty of space and privacy. Beautiful walking trails. The outdoor shower is a fantastic perk, as is the soaking tub. Highly recommend Sean’s place! Would love to return at some point :)

Perfect campsite! Clean, level, easy parking and set-up. Full hook-ups easily accessible! Firepit, grill, picnic table with umbrella all right there ready to go! Very private secluded spot, with trails to walk and explore. Lake was just beautiful with nice dock and stairs making for easy water entry.

Peace on Earth! What a relaxing, peaceful, quiet, regenertive spot. And Dan was the best host one could hope for. Our two furry family members had a great time too. The pond is clean, clear and inviting, even in the cool days of September. We highly recommend this Hipcamp! One of the best we've ever had the good fortune to visit.

Mountain Brook Hideaway has just become our favorite Hipcamp! This is what all Hipcamps should strive for. Beautiful, private location, with so many hiking trail options. Level parking area with power, picnic table, Adirondack chairs, kayaks and a pond! The perfect fire pit was awesome. One of the trees lit up at night! David and Laurie were perfect hosts. We will definitely be going back!

The horse corral site was private, quiet and spacious for our Van camping trip to enjoy the beautiful beaches nearby. We saw a hummingbird, a family of turkeys, and heard some very vocal owls. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. We had a great time and cant wait to return next season!

We LOVED this peaceful and pristine site. David and Laurie welcomed us in and were easy to reach. The sunrise and the sounds of wildlife added to the charm. Owners took great care and thought in this site. Level gravel site, fire pit with Adirondack chairs, new picnic table, and firewood on site for purchase through an app. The fairly lights in the tree just added to the night time ambiance. Oh, fresh eggs available, too! Because we have a reactive dog, Hipcamp gives us access to awesome, single sites like this. Would definitely return.
