jay left me to my devices and the site was nice clean and private. not the most level site and i didnt have enough jacks to make it perfectly flat. i have just a stock 50amp cord and had to park in a odd position to get my slider out and still reach the plug in for my 50amp receptacle. private locked gate and well manicured property make this place so so nice if u have a dog and want to not have to bother w a leash. watch out for the wildlife and keep ur dog close to the spot tho. my stay was very peaceful and Jay gave me what i needed and i was truely blessed to experience this spot! (make sure to bring a long power cord to eassily reach the electric service on the property)

Absolutely incredible! Would definitely book again. We got lucky enough to have the whole camp to ourselves. We brought the kayak down to the water (about a 5 min walk) and paddled around all afternoon. Little walking trails all around the property. Grill for cooking and plenty of fire wood although I did bring my own. Quiet but close enough to town. Super response host and beautiful land. Thank you for having us!

What an awesome place right on the river! We made a 10 minute drive up to Lovewell pond and floated in our tubes all afternoon right back to our camp! We tent camped and brought everything we needed but had we not Erik had offerings for grilling, an outdoor sink, picnic tables etc. (Also provides the cleanest porta-john ever!) There is also a convenience store a mile and a half away. The beach area off this property was amazing, a nice shallow section leading into a deeper swimming area. The river here is all sand and completely clear of rocks/debris etc. Thank you to Erik, for sharing this beautiful land!

The Milkweed Sanctuary is the perfect spot if you want to be away from the rush of things but close enough to access action, restaurants, mountains, lakes, ponds or even ocean, while still enjoying quiet, private, tranquil solitude. The birds and the butterflies regaled me and the wildflowers dazzled.
I could go enjoy Kristas Restaurant right in downtown Cornish or other fine dining a mere 10 minute drive away or take a longer trek into Greater Portland for a plethora of options for food or entertainment and still be only 45 minutes back to a million stars, an outline of Pine trees nestling me in, and the sounds of Ravens, Raptors, and dozens of songbirds enjoying the perfect and plentiful natural habitat.
The driveway is well maintained and hook ups/camping area/fire ring are all far enough from the road to feel private and secluded; a beautiful way to spend an evening (or many).
A true sanctuary but with seemingly endless options, from the White Mountains to the west as well as decent hikes within half an hours drive (maybe even closer) and the Atlantic less and than an hour away in the other direction; I can’t recommend this site enough.
The host is communicative, frinedly, helpful and just an all around wonderful person. I felt great staying on this land and will be delighted to return again and again.
