Toad Hall is a heated, one room, 8x8 cabin in Harrison, Maine, with access to the Bear River for wading and swimming (depending on the river height.) There is a firepit at the cabin, along with one down by the river. Firewood is provided. The lower area by the river is a beautiful place to hang out, pitch hammocks etc... The cabin is near the road, which is great for loading in and loading out, but you will hear/see cars drive by. (Read our reviews, we stand by them!) There is no running water or bathroom on the property so we ask you bring a camping potty and do not bury human waste. The Bear River, which is a beautiful spot to swim and wade in, runs right through the property- but it's also drinking water and a protected watershed. Again, please make sure you have a camping potty plan. Cabin Features: There are 2 cots inside, but also feel free to bring your own pads/bedding... Heat is provided via a propane Buddy Heater as needed (smoke/carbon dioxide detector is in the cabin.) There are solar lights inside, along with a USB plug to charge small devices. It is a clean, warm, dry room, with beautiful light and good ventilation with the windows cracked. Nearby places you will like: We are within walking distance to downtown restaurants and public swimming area on Long Lake. There's also porto potties next to the walkable country store, which has everything you forgot to bring. Also a great ice cream shack, and an above-average watering hole, The Olde Mill Tavern. This is a self check-in/out, so expect an easy arrival process (and we'll ask you to please leave the property prepared for the next guest to arrive.)

One day my children. 3 large tent sites and two camper sites. Future cabin and seasonal RV sites. A brook runs through the property but dries up after June. There is a small pond with rock stairs. Deer and turkey are frequently seen. Peace and serenity. This property does not offer complete seclusion. You will see other campers if all 3 sites are occupied. There is spacious distance. What this location offers is that it is centrally located to mountains, oceans, lakes,concert venues, restaurants, nightlife, shopping and antiquing. Traveling to NH and Massachusetts is a day trip. A few hours and your in central Maine. Cross the border into Canada. So much to explore or just relax. Stay a few nights or stay the season. 2023 is off to a great camping season. Already meeting new campers. Hopefully I'll see some familiar faces from 2022. A few upgrades. There is an outside water faucet, an outlet and an outside shower...hot and a privacy fence. There is a bathroom/shed that contains a toilet. Goats are coming. Yes goats. Not until fall though. The frog pond population continues to grow. A neighboring town is finding 3 legged frogs in their ponds. Apparently caused by a parasite. Let me know if you find any. 2024 was another great season. New faces that I hope to see again. The summer weather was great for camping. A large Bell Tent and a small portable camper was purchased for those who are seeking more of a glamping experience. WELCOME BACK for 2026... 2025 had some complications unfortunately. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to invite anyone to my property. Consider yourself invited for the 2026 season. I look forward to hosting new and repeat campers. There is a free weekend offer for those who would like to camp and work to prepare for Memorial Day weekend. WELCOME ALL!!

Toad Hall was great! Amazing place to stay in the fall/winter. Cozy for 2 people with provided cots & camping chairs! The heater and shelter from the rain was great. Hearing the creek water at night was relaxing. Mike was so nice and communicative! Would definitely stay here again!

Brian and Luana's instant booking was much appreciated when I needed an impromptu place to camp for the night. Brian met me upon arrival to give me a brief overview and answer questions. Road noises aside, it was a peaceful spot to camp for the night. Grateful for the luxury of a compost toilet and dry firewood!

Such a great spot for my tent and to be at! Very convenient and close to Brunswick and amenities! Brian was accommodating and checked on me but never too much! There are gardeners in and out of the area which I thought was so lovely! My only woe was the highway noise can be loud depending on the night. I loved the little store at the end of the road too!

By far, the cleanest, most up to date, and we'll cared for campground we have tried this summer. The hosts were pleasant and friendly. They offered us drinks after our long drive. The music on Saturday night was outstanding, even though it was not my style. We had a great time. I'd recommend Pine Ridge to couples and adults as it is geared toward this crowd. Not really a "kids campground". But that's what I liked about it. Very respectful campers with smiles and a friendly hello.

I cant say enough great things about Pine Ridge, I originally came because I heard they had nice showers, I arrived and booked a second night on the spot. I heard about the Saturday festivities (great live music, a wicked good bon fire, and a great food truck) the owners were some of the most friendly people ive ever met and went above and beyond to make my stay incredible. (I even booked a third night it was so good) from the second I stepped foot on the property I feel welcome and comfortable. Its clear to see the owners truly care about this place. Let me say the reviews of the bathrooms were so right, of my 30 days on the road it was by far the cleanest and nicest bath houses ive seen. 10/10 would come back again.

We stopped here to catch our breath before heading deeper into Maine, and we’re so glad we did. The energy of this place is incredible,friendly, welcoming, and full of charm. Saturday night live music added such a fun and inviting vibe, and the entire property is immaculate. You can really feel the care and love that goes into maintaining it, from outdoor games, disc golf, course, walking trails for your pup, and cozy seating areas, details that make the experience stand out. 💫 And the real gem for me? The bathrooms. Immaculately clean, beautifully designed, with perfect water pressure and plenty of space, no cramped moldy corners here. The concrete floors and tile faux, wood walls , were smart and sanitary, which this girl truly appreciates! This spot is a perfect mix of fun, comfort, and thoughtful design. A total win! Toad Hall is a heated, one room, 8x8 cabin in Harrison, Maine, with access to the Bear River for wading and swimming (depending on the river height.) The last thing he ever thought he would be doing with his retirement is jumping back on his excavator. Can't keep a good man down. Now here we are. Father and daughter. One day my children. 3 large tent sites and two camper sites. Future cabin and seasonal RV sites. A brook runs through the property but dries up after June. There is a small pond with rock stairs. Deer and turkey are frequently seen. Peace and serenity. This property does not offer complete seclusion. You will see other campers if all 3 sites are occupied. There is spacious distance. What this location offers is that it is centrally located to mountains, oceans, lakes,concert venues, restaurants, nightlife, shopping and antiquing. Traveling to NH and Massachusetts is a day trip. A few hours and your in central Maine. Cross the border into Canada. So much to explore or just relax. Stay a few nights or stay the season. 2023 is off to a great camping season. Already meeting new campers. Hopefully I'll see some familiar faces from 2022. A few upgrades. There is an outside water faucet, an outlet and an outside shower...hot and a privacy fence. There is a bathroom/shed that contains a toilet. Goats are coming. Yes goats. Not until fall though. The frog pond population continues to grow. A neighboring town is finding 3 legged frogs in their ponds. Apparently caused by a parasite. Let me know if you find any. 2024 was another great season. New faces that I hope to see again. The summer weather was great for camping. A large Bell Tent and a small portable camper was purchased for those who are seeking more of a glamping experience. WELCOME BACK for 2026... 2025 had some complications unfortunately. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to invite anyone to my property. Consider yourself invited for the 2026 season.
