Very secluded, in a good way and completely surrounded by nature.

Weekend Trip to Rockcastle Riverside

Quiet and peaceful sitting next to the river in our tent. We enjoyed a warm fire while relaxing. Price was fair and owner was friendly. We recently stayed at another camp not far away and there were SxS and 4 wheelers riding around all night making in hard to sleep. At Rockcastle we had no issues and were able to relax!

Weekend Trip to Boone Valley Campground

Fun little campground with a rustic and eclectic vibe. We stayed in the fort room which was cozy and comfy. Clean bathrooms with hot showers!

Weekend Trip to Boone Valley Campground

Very nice clean campground. It had rained a lot before we got there and it was still wonderful. There were no other campers there as I believe this is somewhat off season. They have bands there on weekends during season. I will be staying there if I go back to red river again. Host is fantastic. You won't regret your choice. Oh yeah, the bathroom facilities for primitive camping.. VERY NICE. Flush toilets and I came in at around 2am with 0 problems. Host did come down to check on us in the morning and was around during departure.

We had an incredible stay at the Old Mansion Farm in Versailles, Kentucky! Michelle and Curt were absolutely wonderful hosts—welcoming, accommodating, and always ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The property itself is beautiful, offering a peaceful and unique getaway in a stunning location. From the charming historic atmosphere to the thoughtful touches throughout our visit, every aspect exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to stay with them again and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a memorable Hipcamp experience!

Gavin is an excellent host! Can’t express how highly I recommend staying at any of these sites. All three are great. I was able to take a peek at all 3 since no one but me was there. Unfortunately I didn’t get in until late due to traffic, but still enjoyed the set up a lot. Very peaceful and private and the firewood provided was perfect even with it being wet out. The hill coming back out was a little steep so if you plan on bringing a rig, make sure you have 4WD. Ground was solid though even with all the rain. 10/10 Will definitely stay again!

1 night at Wildcat Creek Farm in Tyrone

This spot is wonderful and the hosts even more amazing! So friendly, helpful, and gracious. And that's not even adding in the beauty of the animals. We had a memorable night there, and would happy return if in the area. Great experience!

Ben was very nice and welcoming. Great little spot to camp especially for families that have kids. He has a play sets and swings for the kids. Only 20 minutes Natural Bridge State Park

Weekend Trip to Wildcat Creek Farm in Tyrone

My dad and I camped out for the weekend to do the bourbon trail. Keven was as very friendly and accommodating. We loved waking up and seeing the animals and had a sweet cat purring in our laps around the fire at night. We will definitely be back.

We stayed on Sunset point, which was absolutely gorgeous! It’s a bit of a hilly drive to the site but worth it. There is hiking access down to the river that we enjoyed. Bridgett is super accommodating and helpful! She and her pups brought us a nice bundle of firewood, and we enjoyed the private, amazing views!

Discover a rare campsite available between two cliffs that the Native Americans originally called home. It remains just as they found it. This area is an old tobacco and cattle farm on a point above Laurel Lake. We do a bit of farming and crafting when we can and thought we’d try and share our lovely spot! Much of the timber on the place is nearly 100 years old hardwoods, with a couple of fields throughout. I camp here myself too, and can recommend it for privacy! Learn more about this land: You can park an RV or trailer on these private sites within a 10min drive or short walk to Laurel Lake! Gravel roads to a field capable of holding up to two trailers with more planned in time! Primitive sites, Quiet n private. These sites are also within 10 mi of both London and Corbin Ky, with services available at both. Scenic Cumberland Falls is a short 25 min drive, and this place is adjacent to the Daniel Boone National Forest with plenty of hiking nearby.

My place is secluded and peaceful. Its a wooded country setting and is a primitive site. There are no facilities or utilities, there is an outhouse/self composting (follow up your business with dropping leaves in after). It may not be suitable for children as there are active brush/wood burn piles on the land. See all photos and ask questions, please. I want it to be enjoyable for all who book. It’s also noteworthy that there are dogs in the area that roam free, it’s way out in the country, there are no leash laws. I’ve never had any issues with unfriendly dogs, but always be aware. It’s at a dead end road, no thru traffic. You can stay and enjoy some amazing stargazing, (there is minimal lighting and a very dark, clear view of the night sky) and lots of peace and quiet or explore the Daniel Boone National Forest surrounding the property or travel a short distance and see so many nearby amazing areas…Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge State Park, NADA Tunnel, Sky Bridge, Cave Run Lake, Twin Knobs and Zilpo Recreation Areas, Carter Caves State Park, Grayson Lake, Rudy’s Ranch.
