The spot was very easy to find, close to main highways and was a good level gravel spot with 30 amp service. Communication with host was easy. We were alone which I appreciated because the spots are close together. We didn’t have a picnic table and there was no fire ring. The water was available but more for filling tanks as it is on the other side of the lot. The Winery was very close and had good food. It was loud at first but quiet after 9pm.

Milo Farms is a segment of space and time that lends itself to a reset of mind, body, and soul. Car camping, which is what I did, is not the best way to explore as the car camping sites were close to parking for the primitive sites, and cabins. That won’t stop me from coming back though. My nervous system was reset and I look forward to visiting again soon. I can’t wait to explore future events and opportunities and I am so grateful to see that there are wonderful stewards of the land. ✌️

We are the first Hipcamp patrons they have had. I must say they have put a lot of effort into this property. I believe it was a small 9-10 lot mobile home park previously. They have done a lot of improvements to make it what it is now. All new electrical and water hookups, new asphalt driveway and separate parking for cars at each space. The RV spaces are flat ( but not necessarily level) gravel spaces. It was a bit of a challenge to get our 38’ motorhome level on our site. The owners were very nice and attentive. The father lives in a house on properly. We chose this location thinking it was closer to Kansas City, which it isn’t; in fact the city with most restaurants, except for a few small local and fast food places, was about 20 minutes away. The area where the property is located is a “mixed use” neighborhood, an auto parts store on the corner, a few mobile homes across the street and single family residences on down the street. We walked our dogs on the neighborhood streets and did have two large unleashed dogs come toward us. The owner was outside and did call them back, but it made us a little leary. Overall it was a decent overnight spot, but not as convenient as we had anticipated.

Weekend Trip to Milo Farm Sacred Land

I went car camping at the Milo farm and it was exactly what I wanted for a nice peaceful stop on the way to Colorado. There was so much to explore. The farm was beautiful and unique. Very good energy and all around a great experience! Highly recommend.
