This was my first experience with hipcamp and I'm sold. It was very comfortable. They supplied pretty much everything we needed. We did NOT have to rough it out, which for me was exactly the point. I personally am not a camping type and prefer hotels, but I definitely want to visit Blooming Bus Farms again with friends, with my kids, with a bigger group. This time we went for our wedding anniversary, we being both my wife and I. As I enjoyed the beautiful glampsite I kept thinking this place probably levels up in autumn. There was a fire pit, which they provided the initial wood for. I ordered one extra helping of firewood and it was enough to keep our fire going through one heck of a storm. They have a tent set up with a table off to the side of the fire where we set up the stuff we had brought with us. The actual "tent" was spacious and comfortable with a bed, chairs, couch and table table. The lighting was great and set the mood perfectly. Really I didn't think we utilized everything they provided because they provided so much. That's why I gotta go back. The host was extremely nice and communicated excellently. I know we didn't experience it fully because it stormed really bad and so couldn't really take a stroll or explore the grounds fully, but what we got was more than worth it. If this is how all of the other sites are on the app this is what you want the introduction to be. I highly recommend this specific campground. 5 stars!

Weekend Trip to Fallen Tree

The Tiny House was the perfect glamping experience. It had everything we needed while still feeling like we were truly camping and enjoying nature. The Tiny House was clean, comfortable, and cozy, and the area around it felt private and secluded. The clubhouse bathroom was a huge bonus and made the stay even more convenient. Since there's no electricity in the Tiny House, we brought a couple of battery-powered fans, which helped a lot with staying cool during the heat of the day and made sleeping much more comfortable at night. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend the Tiny House to anyone looking for a comfortable way to enjoy the outdoors without completely roughing it.

My husband and I snuck away midweek to just get away before an upcoming surgery. We got so much more than expected. Melissa was the most gracious host. They thought of everything you needed before you knew you needed it. The glamping cabin was so adorable and it was so quiet when we were there. The birds were lovely and the alpacas sweet. Romantic lights are everywhere. I recommend this campground with all my heart.

This place was great! You had your own little woodsy area. A table & chairs, a cooler with ice and water, our own bathroom (shower & composting toilet in a tent). The bell tent for sleeping was spacious, the bed was comfortable. First batch of free firewood kept our fire going until we went to bed. Definitely would recommend.

The bus is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully outfitted, and the land is lovely. For outdoorsy campers like us, access to the clubhouse space (a real bathroom! easy morning coffee and tea! a place to do dishes! comfy lounge and wifi!) felt like such a fun luxury. Whitney was an excellent host who responded immediately to any needs that arose. We also enjoyed hiking in Chain O Lakes state park and supporting the Black Pine Wildlife Sanctuary with a wonderful visit and tour (both within 10 minutes!) Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in the cabin full of historical charms. The cabin had almost everything we needed for our stay. It was a perfect middle ground between primitive camping and modern lodging.

Weekend Trip to Camp David

Camp David is one of my favorite places to be! I seen so many birds, it was so peaceful to hear all the wildlife. Making dinner over the fire, with the adjustable grate. Love the new enclosed kitchen that provides us with a space to store food and prep! So many options to choose from to sit and relax, nothing is more relaxing. A much needed reset! The dogs absolutely loved the area, and enjoy swimming in the river. Can’t wait till the next trip!

1 night at Camp David

Camp David was a very cute cabin on the river. David the host was very friendly top notch hospitality. We highly recommend staying here we enjoyed the fire pit and cooked our dinner over the fire pit that was awesome 🔥😊 Definitely bring mosquitos 🦟 repellent once we applied ours they left us alone.

Weekend Trip to Lochloosa River Retreat

We love staying in the cabin. It was cozy and had the best view of the river. Fishing was good and we even took a kayak trip that turned out great! There are some nice shops in town with ceramic painting and lots of good food just a short distance away.thank you for having us!
