This unique 2 acre oasis is the historical quarry; It’s how Quarry Road gets its namesake in southern Indiana! With a 40ft. rock wall that horseshoes around the entire property, experience privacy and serenity. LLC Ranch is situated directly above the underground railroad, the Duncan Tunnel. We used this spot as a home base for our yearly hunting trip. It was perfect for what we needed. Everyone on the farm was friendly and welcoming! You’ll get to know the horses and cats as they wander around the farm and sometimes come up to you to say hello. The cabin was a great common area and place to wind down after a long day of being out in the woods.

This was perfect for us. It’s a spot nestled in a rock quarry and very unique. There is a barn/shed right next to the campfire ring which is pretty nice. We were able to put our chairs under the awning so when we pulled them out in the morning, they weren’t covered in the morning dew.
We typically park our little camper and just really sleep and have a quick fire every night, so this was a great homebase to go into Louisville and other areas around like Jeffersonville. We will definitely be back.

The stay here was great! Having a little clean stable on the property when it started storming was a nice addition, it is right off the interstate and 20 mins from downtown Louisville, very secure with the locking gate, and the host was nice enough to drop off firewood. On the downside, dumb neighbors that let their dog bark half the night and a set of train tracks nearby can be annoying but that is out of their control but I was able to sleep well and enjoyed the stay. Definitely recommended.

We stayed one night at Canyon View Quarry and really enjoyed the peaceful vibe. It’s a unique spot with cool scenery, and the host made everything easy. Perfect place to unwind and recharge before hitting the road again. Would definitely stay again!

I didn’t arrive until after dark and I left before sunrise, so I didn’t get to see how pretty it is, but I could tell that it is very pretty in the sunlight. It was quiet, felt safe and private, which is really important to me as a single lady traveling and camping in my car. 10/10 would camp here again next time I’m in the Louisville area!

We really enjoyed our evening camping on Jennifer’s land. Louisville area residents it’s a perfect 15 minute get away for a night outdoors without an hour drive, a mile hike, or being in a campground. Pull up, pitch a tent and make a fire. Jennifer was very accommodating. We will definitely be back — soon!
