You can explore our interesting topography that has close to 100 foot of elevation changes, our (mostly) dry creek system that starts with 2 springs that drain into 3 sinkholes or walk 3 miles of trails (if you follow each trail from end to end). We love groups - Host your event here or have a group gathering with all your friends and family. We have spaces large enough to host hundreds of people. We welcome pets for camping, but no pets allow in the Camping Cabin. Small hobby sheep farm, with a sheep pasture surrounded by woods. There are two shepherd's huts, three tent sites, a small fishing pond with a log cabin and a quarter of a mile hiking trail. It is a bird lovers paradise with a large variety of birds. The fisherman's cabin has electricity and AC (AC is new for 2026 season). The shepherd's huts and tent sites are off grid. Each site is very private and has a fire ring and picnic table and benches. Cabin has a queen and a twin bed, linens provided. Shephard's huts have a queen sized memory foam mat with linens. Shower hut has hot water and is shared with all the campers.

Each site is in a wooded, shaded area with a flat area on the ground to place a single large tent. Each site has its own fire ring and a small wooden table. There is wood on the ground you may use for firewood, and ample twigs etc on the ground for kindling (do not cut any trees or branches off trees). There is a covered firewood shed with dry firewood as well. There are maintained trails with river access for kayaks. There are 2 porta potties near the campsites with a handwashing station, that is open year round. There is a single bathroom with flush toilet and sink with running water that is a short walk away (open May-Oct depending on weather) There is an outdoor on-demand hot-water shower at bathroom, with a water hose available as well. On-demand hot water heaters provide hotter water at a low water pressure, and cooler water at full blast. We do provide a large trash bin near the porta potties for trash disposal. DO NOT throw trash into fire pits or burn barrels in the woods. Campsites are a short walk (100-200 feet) away from parking area (you CANNOT drive directly to or park at your campsite). Foster Park is a short bike ride away where you will find greenway trails that run throughout Fort Wayne (ride your bike to downtown!!) Our property backs up to the St Mary's River, bring you kayaks and fishing poles! When we bought this property in 2013, it was a little run down. Many years ago, it housed sheep and cows. We revamped our little 15-acre farm and continue to improve its looks. Now it is our home and houses my riding stable. Many people have commented on how nice it is. I thought this would be a great opportunity to share its beauty and the animals with others. Learn more about this land: We have 3 spots to pitch a tent, but we're pretty flexible. If you see another area, please ask!. Site "Woods" is most secluded. We now have a cabin!! Our "Chalet". It will sleep 4 and has some great amenities. The others are around our grassy barnyard area where you're able to enjoy all of our different animals!. All sites are 2-5 mins from the main house. You will be staying on our horse farm. We have many chickens, bunnies, a potbelly pig, feeder pigs (depending on the time of year), and our 4 house dogs. We offer overnight equine amenities as well. There are 2 showering options and restroom available. You can enjoy a small fire (weather dependent) or listen to the crickets and frogs under the starry night. Actually, you can do it all. We offer trail rides on the horses as well, (extra charges). You can even book a trip to the state park to ride the horse trails, which is only 15 minutes away. There is a great fishing lake less than 1 mile from the farm, so bring your poles and kayaks. Or rent ours! There is a Dollar General, 2 gas stations, and a liquor store in our tiny little town if you forget anything. Walmart is 12 minutes North of us.

Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash and under your control at all times. Privy's are found just outside the cabin. We have miles of hiking trails and several spring fed creeks so take your hiking boots off and wade in the clean cool water. Stars are in abundance at Guthrie Meadows so star gazing is a must!

The cabin was cozy and the trails were very nice to hike. My favorite part was being greeted by a pack of alpacas whenever we walked by. All of the land around the cabins was beautiful to explore and it was a quick drive to Spring Mill State Park for some more exploration and trails.

It was a very peaceful stay. Bed was very comfy and the cabin was very cozy. Loved the wood burning stove. The propery was very nice and quiet. We came during a bad wind storm but it was still very peaceful in the cabin. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We're already planning our next trip back to Camp David! Perfect spot on the river, and David has thought of everything a guest might need. Better than any hotel - we loved our long weekend here. If you like antiquing there are some fun spots in Rochester about 7 minutes away, along with some great restaurants! Even with some rain, we were able to kick back and relax. Can't wait to stay here again!

This was a first for both of us...winter camping...and mother nature gave us quite the run for the money with temps dropping from 69 when I arrived to 12 degrees by morning with thunderstrorms and 50-60 mile winds. Jeremy was so gracious and helpful...perservering thru 3 dying generators and making sure I was safe and warm. I'm looking forward to seeing the place next summer when it's all green and with weather that allows exploring! Lol.

My husband, our 3 boys, and I stayed in the camping cabin for last minute, quick, weekend getaway. Kerry”s directions were clear, so we had no difficulty finding it. When we arrived, he met us near the front and showed us where we were staying. He showed us around and told the boys about the net, the pigs, and the rope swing. They couldn’t wait to start exploring, and even though it was cold outside, they had a blast playing and didn’t want to come inside. The cabin was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the heater worked really well. Everything was just as described, and my only regret is that we only got to stay for one night. None of us were ready to leave. Kerry was friendly, very accommodating, and responded super quickly to messages. I definitely plan to make another trip here when we are able to stay longer.

This was my 10th visit to Camp David! It was freezing outside, but the cabin was warm, and the campfire was even warmer, under a moonlit sky. The cabin was so cute, decorated with Christmas decorations. Davis is a fantastic host! What a great way to spend my birthday!!!

This is our second time here and my goodness, it’s perfect. My daughter loves hiking on the property and petting the horses. It has everything you NEED and the warm shelter after a rainy hike at McCormicks Creek State Park is always what we need. Can’t wait to come back again. Our little dude with Cerebral Palsy could absolutely love this property too.
