The farm was beautiful and quiet. My daughter really enjoyed the farm animals, especially Stella (dog) and we hiked both evenings to the prairie. Clean, well maintained, and easy to get to.

We stayed at The Grain Bin for three nights—one adult and four kids—and it was an unforgettable experience! The unique setup on Ryan’s beautiful farm made for the perfect family-friendly getaway. The grain bin itself is cozy and full of charm. It offered just the right amount of shelter while still giving us that rustic camping feel. The kids had an absolute blast exploring the farm and especially loved spending time with the animals—pigs, cows, chickens, Guinea fowls, and their favorite of all… the CATS! Ryan and his family were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, always making sure we had what we needed and making us feel welcome. The surrounding landscape is stunning, with corn and crop fields stretching out in every direction. Each evening, we were treated to gorgeous sunsets and the peaceful sounds of the farm—cows lowing in the distance, chickens clucking, and a general sense of calm that’s hard to find elsewhere. This is a perfect spot for families, nature lovers, or anyone looking to slow down and soak in some quiet country beauty. We’ll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Triangle H Farm, LLC

Great place to stay overnight when passing through on I70.

1 night at St Louis Co private wildwood farm.

We stopped at Michaels property for an overnight on our way out west. The property is nested privately and out of the chaos of St. Louis which was a welcome sight. The camp spot we stayed at overlooked a large mowed field with plenty of shade trees behind with 30amp and water. Michael has a long hose and electric extension so no worries about reaching. We felt very safe and the property was very quiet and well taken care of. Michael welcomed us even though we were 2 hours late from our original ETA and guided us in and helped us get situated. The biggest thank you to him as we left a wallet in a nearby gas station bathroom and called him in a panic and he went and retrieved it and mailed it to us. Literally saved our 3 month long trip from disaster, 2 days in to it. Thank you so much again!

Very cute farm. The alpacas were nice. They were the reason I chose this little farm. The goats and chickens were both eager to come to the fence when I walked up, they all wanted me to pet them. Clean bathroom and shower room. Very well lit. Thanks for the experience.

The place is level, wide, and well kept! Definitely not the spot if privacy is your #1 priority, but tucked away out of eye shot from major roads. Directions were clear and thorough and host is friendly and communicative!

We book this site when passing through so we knew we were going to pull in late. Michael's directions were great he was very accommodating and helped us get set up right away before storm move through. Lovely location wish we could spend more time there thanks again Michael.

You can end the night with a nice fire in the fire pit.. this site offers a little bit of everything, no need to go anywhere else you can have a nice getaway at the 107. There are 20.11 acres of farm life to share with you. We do many things to help keep the farm going, and moving towards being self supporting. Such as pony rides, birthday parties, weddings, camp outs, and so much more. We sell fresh laid farm eggs for $5 cash a dozen. To purchase eggs, call or text Nancy (618)601-4645 Pony rides are $30 cash, and by appointment only. They are hand led, and approximately 20-30 minute. The child will be hand led around the farm. If you would like to schedule a ride please message Maryann @ (618)610-9282. We also house and run Happy Trails Horse Rescue (501c3) non for profit, and accept donations. Some of the things you will experience and see are: volunteers helping out; horses, mules, donkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, turkey, goats, llama, and many others. Ranch lands of a prior Horse Ranch at the edge of town is conveniently located. Most of the property is pasture area but plenty of yard for tent camping and LOTS of space for those who want to pitch a tent in the pastures. We have small goats, chickens, and turkeys on-site (please do not enter barn or animal pens). There are no hookups for water or power, but we can accommodate some use of water from our spigots. We live about 2 miles from our local lake, which has boat access and paddling access. The beautiful view of sunsets and sunrises are spectacular more times than not. We host large herd of deer traveling and sometimes bedding down in our pastures, so be sure to watch early mornings for them to be on the move. We are very close to town, but the 18-acre site brings a serene aspect to the grounds. ***WE ARE BRINGING IN A PORTA-POTTY OR 2 FOR THE TENT CAMPERS OVER THE WEEKEND OF 4/6/24 SOLAR ECLIPSE.
