We purchased our 45 acre farm in 1997, since then we have operated a sustainable small organic farm.  In January of 2018 we purchased 58 more acres that is attached to our land.  The property has a greenhouse, high tunnel and about a half acre of field that we raise vegetables & fruit on.  We have a 3 acre pond with a naturally sustaining fish population, we swim in the pond, many small pastures and woods with streams running through them.  Plenty of wildlife, hiking & mountain biking areas.  We have a certified kitchen at the farm and have products raised & made on the farm to purchase.  Supposedly the house is haunted and there are a couple of haunted sites within 15 miles of the farm.

Doesn’t get any better.
10/10. Gracious, down-to-earth hosts made this hidden gem a home away from home. Beautiful property and people. Will be back!

Great place for winter camping too!
Spring and summer camping is great and I’m one who enjoys winter camping. This is my second season for Winter Camping here at Bear Creek Farm. Deb and Matt have seasoned Hedge (if you kindly ask) for your hot tent stove! More firewood processing might be needed but this is really good seasoned Hedge (Osage Orange) hardwood and it burns hot and long in your camp stove. Site 2 (Pond’s Edge) is excellent for a solar panel for your power bank to keep your devices going. It also offers a great view of the western skies for beautiful sunsets. The pond offers a temporary landing place for geese. Lots of beautiful views, great hikes and ultra fun hiking through the “Enchanted Forest”. It’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature’s solitude and wildlife sounds! Multiple Baard Owls create their own “Symphony”, only to be appreciated by campers at Bear Creek Farm. Winter campers will appreciate the limited availability of seasoned Hedge (Osage Orange) firewood for their tent stoves. You may have to harvest and process the hedge yourself, but that’s the way of life for winter bushcraft campers. Deb and Matt are great hosts and I’m sure winter campers will love this setting!!

Had a wonderful nights sleep by the pond! We’re on a cross country road trip and needed a safe, quiet place to stay. Debbie’s place was clean and quiet. She was very welcoming and there was everything we could have needed when we arrived. There was a pretty decent slope for our tent at site 2 but I had expected it since it is in the description. Wish we had time to take out the canoe. Def would go back again!

This was my first time camping at bear creek farm and ranch and It won't be my last. I had an amazing time hiking their trails and canoeing on their lake. The tent sites are a great size and spaced out, so there is plenty of privacy for your group. We were welcomed by miss Lucy and Honey who roam around looking for some pets and cuddles. Deb and the team are super kind and attentive. I definitely can't wait for another camping trip back to Bear Creek Farm and Ranch !!!! Thank you so much for a fantastic weekend

Our family loved camping on Deb’s property! The waterfront was perfect for fishing and the view of the sky at night was amazing! Debbie is a great host! We would highly recommend their land for your next camping trip!
