We had a great experience at Seven Stars Ranch! The property is very well kept; it was such a peaceful environment. My family absolutely loved it and want to come back soon! Sonia & Andrew were very kind hosts. I high recommend stopping here if you are in the Coeur d'Alene area.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Acres Orchards

What a “hidden” gem in the Mead, Washington area. I spent the evening listening to pheasant cackle and turkeys gobble in the distance. Very quiet and tranquil.

We had a great stay _ very private spot with beautiful views all around. David was helpful and welcoming, showing us exactly where to set up.Would definitely recommend and hope to come back.

2 nights at Harrison Bluffs Campground

The directions were very clear on how to get there but we easily passed the turn off. I didn’t have any service but was able to get enough service at the end of the road to check the address and saw that rv slots were too far past where I was supposed to be. I turned around and saw the small Hipcamp logos for tenting. I ordered eggs and firewood. Upon arrival the host was there to greet me with the items. Unfortunately there were 2 cars and a hammock hung up in my slot at campsite #1. They didn’t know who they belonged to since we don’t input our license plate number (That would be a great idea for the future) and no one was there. We weren’t supposed to have any camping neighbors on our visit so they weren’t sure if these people were there from the night before or if someone had snuck in. Because they couldn’t figure out whose cars were there we got to pick which ever slot we wanted to camp in because no one else was supposed to be booked during our stay. We chose slot #4 which looked to about double the size of slot #2 and I was actually glad it worked out that way because we had enough room to spread out our tent, bbq and table, our own porta potty and still have room away from the fire pit where we put our chairs. Porta potties are provided later in the season and they do have trash bins. We tied up our 2 small and 1 large dog to the trees to play and set up our hammock. After raining, the small inclined walkway became slippery. This was awesome! I havnt camped in years.

Weekend Trip to Spokane Western Dude Ranch Barn BnB

Easy to check in, came late and Mike helped provide me some light so I could set up my tent. He was very friendly and helpful. Everything was pretty much as advertised. It was a bit for me to sleep because dogs were be barking at random times thru the night. If you’re a heavy sleeper it shouldn’t be a problem.

I love camping on Matt’s land!! Nice and quiet. They leave the light on for you 😂 I’m scared of the dark so glad they leave the light on for me. The best part is the kittens!!!!! I love them! I recommend Matt’s place if your ever in the area and want the farm life with the quietness. Love how the cows moo when I get home from work. I moo back 😂

Great experience. Stayed six nights while up in area for deer hunting and visiting friends nearby. All the amenities needed for my stay. Host is very accommodating and quick to reply with any questions. Will stay again when I come back up.

The camper is perched on the hill which looks down into beautiful evergreens then looks up to Mica Peak. There is a creek on the property but depending on the time of year can be depleted to a trickle. Wild turkeys and white tail deer visit frequently. The host have ducks, hens, one very tame rooster, rabbits and 3 very friendly dogs. In the evening one can hear coyotes in the distance and at least one owl, several crickets and frogs. There is very little traffic as the property is on a dirt road that leads to a dead end. There are no streets lights so at night the sky is filled with a vast display of beautiful stars. There are plenty of places to take a walk and Saltese Trail is about 5 min away.

Camp within the luscious fruit tree rows, in the middle of a vibrant pumpkin patch or even in the petting zoo! Animals welcome! IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW: We are a real working farm, not like a romanticized IG version of a farm. There are tractors running, sprayers making applications, farm animals loudly enjoying life, day customers picking fruit, and farmers about early in the morning. With that being said, we understand that experience may not be to everyone's liking. Be aware that if you do decide to camp here be ready for a real farm adventure! Another little tidbit: to grow food, we try to maximize the amount of sun it receives- SHADE IS VERY LIMITED. ALL CAMPSITES ARE U-PICK, there are no designated spots. Let your creativity shine and choose as dope a spot as you like! If you're scared of driving off a paved road or frightened by the natural world we suggest glamping at another lovely Green Bluff location. Starting SEPTEMBER 23RD until OCTOBER 31ST every weekday we host hundreds of school kids on the farm. They start arriving around 9:00 am. If the sound of children's laughter drives you absolutely insane, you might think twice about booking a stay with us in the fall. Winter camping is available, please note we typically receive a lot of snow. Early spring is the extreme mud season, please be cautious of our soft ground and stick to the roads. July-August can get very dry some years, which means the grass goes dormant and dust starts to fly. MAX STAY IS 14 DAYS. The Old Weber Farm

Legend has it Bing Crosby sang in the barn himself after a long summer bucking bales in Cheney. We are close to Turnbull Wildlife Park and a few local fishing lakes: badger lake, williams lake, and amber lake. The town of Cheney is a great place to stock up and bicycle the fish lake trail.

Riverfront Base Camp

Park your RV, overland rig, pitch a tent, or sleep under the stars next to the Coeur D’ Alene River. Be advised this is directly next to State Highway 3. If you are a light sleeper, or road noise bothers you, this is not the campsite for you. At the camp, you can launch your kayaks at the river to go for an adventure down through the Chain Lakes, all eight are accessible by the river adjacent to where you will sleep. The bird and wildlife watching in this area is world class. Ospreys, hawks, turkeys and other animals commonly hang out in these parts. You can go for a swim at one of the sandbars, take your dirt bikes or side by sides down Killarney Lake Road to access an extensive network of trails and dirt roads into remote wilderness. There is no cell service, no water or electrical hookups, or toilet. As beautiful as it is, your experience will not be “glamping” unless you come with all the comforts you personally desire. You can hunt on the forest service land by 4th of July Pass, fish on the river, or on the Chain Lakes (with the proper permits, of course). There is a access into the water from camp but it is quite steep. For easy access to the water, use the docks or boat launch at Killarney Lake or Bull Run. Pets and kids are allowed at your own risk. Be advised the highway and river are hazardous for off-leash animals and rambunctious toddlers. Please send a message if you have any questions. I am happy to help.
