Our property is tucked into an agricultural zone, with just one neighbor far from the camping area. We’re only a 5-minute drive from public access to the Boise River for fishing and exploring! You’ll have plenty of space to spread out, whether you’re bringing an RV, trailer, or camper. We can accommodate a second RV/trailer/camper within the same party upon request—just reach out for details. What We Offer: • Full hook-ups: (well) water, electric, and dump station • Spacious sites: Park beneath tall pine, alder, and maple trees with a grassy lawn to enjoy • Camp amenities: Fire ring for cozy evenings under the stars We’re in a unique spot—centrally located on the outskirts of three cities, yet peaceful and private. Costco and the hospital are just 5 minutes away, though you’d never guess it from your site. Seasonal Extras: • Fresh eggs from our flock of 15+ chickens (and turkey eggs upon request in the warmer months) • Access to archery targets and our 1,000 sq. ft. garden, depending on the season Things to Know: • We’re on a main boulevard, so you may hear passing cars. • A train passes just three times a week (Mon/Wed/Fri). If you’re a train fan, wave at the conductor—sometimes they’ll honk back! • Wildlife is abundant: foxes, groundhogs, and birds of prey from the largest raptor sanctuary in the U.S. (falcons, golden eagles, and more). Please keep a close eye on small pets, as the area is not fenced. We affectionately call this area “The Forest” and love sharing it with guests who want to stay, play, relax, and enjoy. Bonus treat: Each booking includes a complimentary bag of freeze-dried Skittles (plus other surprise goodies we may have on hand).

This was our first time and we stayed 5 days. I have a 37ft toy hauler and was able to maneuver and park easily. Easy hooks up. Host was great and very helpful . Was quiet and beautiful environment. Kids loved the animals.

Weekend Trip to Cagle Cove

Great spot close to Boise but felt like we were in the country. Grandkids loved playing by the pond. We went in October so water was low in the pond and beach was muddy in places but kids had a ball and mud washes off. We liked The Willows campsite by the willow tree. Loved listening to the little creek that runs behind that site. Driveway to campground has quite a slope but we had no trouble driving our 27’ rv back up. Woke up to see cows in the pasture behind the campground. Also saw two cranes.

2 nights at Cagle Cove

My son and I spent two days at Cagle Cove, The Aspens site and had a great time. We are definitely going back. It feels very secluded. You hear some birds, occasional cow and some roosters in the morning. The sites are spacious and very clean. The ground is flat with no rocks or roots to worry about, so tent placement is quick and easy. We were in a 3-person tent with a 10x10 canopy and even had room for our Yukon XL. The owners kept a fresh stockpile of firewood they sell for $5 a bundle, and these logs are big, they’re dry and burn quite a long time. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway to recharge, get a good nights rest, cook over a campfire, and see a sky full of stars, this is the place. You can splurge and bring the good steak, because this place is a deal.

Bill’s property and the surrounds are great and the location is truly fabulous! Plentiful parks and open spaces adjacent and nearby. It’s an easy walk to the best of Old Boise, downtown, museums, and the zoo, but still far enough out of the fray to enjoy returning home to a quiet nest on a Saturday night.

Great little find close to town! The spots are a little close together mostly because it's so open and some are on the smaller side (we had a hard time fitting our 10 person party tent and our car in our spot out of the road, there are bigger spots we'll pick next time. But it's great if there's only one or two spots taken or it would be wonderful to rent the whole for a family campout. We will definitely be back. It's beautiful and the pond was fun. The boats are a nice touch. They keep it clean and the portapotty is perfect. It's nice having the dog off leash. We were there for a week and Lily only visited one day, she was a nice dog and a lot of fun for the kids that we're there between the two sites, she's definitely a bonus but she does find any food you haven't closed up so keep it packed ;) Just information- there's not much by way of fire making materials to be gathered, they sell logs at a very fair price compared to the local gas stations but you'll have to use fire starters, girl scout water or bring your own tender/kindling.

Great place, mama kitty gave us a great warm welcome and even spent the night with us in the tipi. They do have a propane heater for the tipi but you have to light it with a lighter so keep that in mind for cold nights! (We didn’t bring a lighter and wished we did because it got pretty cold)
