The space
My vision is that my property (which I've named "Kingdom Come") would be a place of rest, retreat, and enjoyment for others. I am going to build a few cabins for lodging, but my first major project was building a chapel, so that it would be the centerpiece and heartbeat: a place for reflection, meditation, and prayer.
I built the chapel myself (with my own hands, and the hands of a couple of friends). As I work on building the cabins, I have decided to use the chapel as a glamping site (better than using it as a "divine" storage building!).
My mother was an artist and when she died I ended up with a lot of her artwork. Some of her paintings now fill the chapel. They also fill the space, I hope, with her grace and love and creativity.
The chapel features beautiful timber frame construction. As to "glamping" . . . there is no running water/plumbing, but you'll have all the fresh water you need for showers, drinking, etc. Limited electricity for running the kitchen appliances.
No AC, of course, but the fan will keep it comfortable in warm weather. As to cold weather, the chapel has an electric heater that keeps it fairly comfortable in cold weather: not blazing hot, but comfortable, unless it gets VERY cold; then, the heater just takes off some of the chill.
Zinus Ultima Comfort Memory Foam 6 Inch mattresses are very comfortable! Using the outdoor solar/camp shower is wonderful. The privy is clean and well-ventilated.
Appliances: fan; toaster oven; microwave oven; coffee maker; and, small micro-fridge.
Lighting is provided by four rechargeable lanterns. Screens on the windows and door to keep the bugs at bay.
Outdoor deck features comfortable Adirondack chairs, a Weber charcoal grill, and a fire pit for campfires. I'll provide you with wood (on a donation basis . . . pay what you like) campfires. Matches and paper provided, too, to help get the fire started.
The play area offers opportunities limited only by your imagination. Sunbathing? Stargazing? Badminton and Bocce balls provided if you want to play!

As you drive in, you will see a self-serve Farm Stand. When you drive into the property to access your site, please drive straight to the field along the grassy pathway.
We have a clean toilet house. It is located between campsites 3 and 4.
Within a couple miles of our property there is mountain biking, hiking, lake access of swimming and boating. Bring your kayak to enjoy seeing Lake Nottely!
We live on the property, and it is a working homestead. We have chickens (roosters crowing too, sometimes in early hours - sorry about that). We ask that you keep your dogs *at your camp site at all times* (we have had camper's dogs run through the field at us and scare us to pieces and we'd rather not experience that again! lol)
Enjoy the sounds of the creek and put your tent on level land. We have firepits at each camp site. Firewood is available for purchase, just send us a message. We can deliver to your campsite. We had a group at group lane and we had a fantastic time. This campground is incredible - they have thought of all the details. The bathhouse is great, the pavilion is beautiful with views of the river. The hosts provide things like marshmallow roasting sticks and firewood for communal use at the pavilion. Can’t wait to return!

We loved fern gully! When we arrived there was a cart by our parking spot to help us unload the truck and haul everything to the campsite. The walk from the car to the site was about 50 yards gradually downhill. There was already wood in the fire pit that was perfectly set up to easily light up a fire. There was even extra firewood on the porch waiting for us. We were able to charge phones and stuff with the extension cord that powers the light in the tent.

This was a wonderful campsite! It was right on Brasstown Creek (running from nearby mountain peak - Brasstown Bald), with easy access to the creek via a short set of stairs. Laying in the middle of the rushing creek was the ultimate comfort in mid-July. The campsites were well put together, and June (our host) was very kind and accommodating. There is a tubing company (West Tubing) which operates on that creek, also run by the host. The campsites are secluded from each other and feature a beautiful view of the creek below, and plenty of shade from the trees around.
We also enjoyed stopping by nearby Cupid Falls in Young Harris, GA - about a 15 minute drive away. Brasstown Bald offers a beautiful drive/hike to Georgia’s highest mountain summit, and is only about 40 minutes away. We only had the opportunity to eat at one local restaurant, but Young Harris Wings was absolutely terrific as well.
There is a dollar general grocery about 5 minutes away, as well as a convenience store - gas is a little bit further out of town.
The turn off of the road was slightly different than the GPS told - it is to the right side, and look for the sign with the Hipcamp logo next to a gate (also a sign saying “West Tubing Co”). I reached out for help finding it, and they called right away.
We stayed for 4 nights, and I would certainly camp here again!

I loved camping at the Brass Camp. Peaceful location in close proximity to the Bath House and Camp Store. Even on the high ground you can still hear the sounds of the Nantahala River. Be sure to spend some time walking around the Farm visiting all the animals.

Wow. This place is too good to be true and I almost want to keep it a secret. The campground is in a gorgeous setting along the Nantahala River and near the Appalachian Trail, and it's got every amenity you might want- a beautiful pavilion with camping stove, fireplace, dish washing station, and dining area overlooking a meadow with rabbits and guinea fowl walking around and a beautiful stretch of the Nantahala, which you can wade in and cool-off on a hot day. The bunk house was a cute one-room spot with nooks for each bed, reading lamps, and convenient to the bathhouse (above it, but we didn't have any noise issues) and camp store that's got firewood, ice cream, food, snacks, and more. Hot water, drinking water, and tons of comforts for camping or glamping. It's also got the working farm on the property, which was a hit for the kids, along with the mill. Greg was a phenomenal host- took the kids to feed the geese, donkey, and sheep, brought a guitar to the pavilion for us all to hang out and jam, regaled us with great stories, and he also helped us do a very nice one-way ~2.5 mile hike on the AT by during me back from the terminus in his truck so I could drop off my car at the end and then driving my family and I to the starting point of the hike (which isn't too far from the campground.) Went above and beyond and the whole place and experience were magical. We also met Heath, one of the farmers, and he was super kind. Highly recommended and we plan to come back!

I went solo rooftop camping planning Thur-sat.
I was late showing up by several hours, however I was still greeted w nothing less than good ole southern hospitality. I ended up having to make myself leave today! The 4th of July party was one of my all time favorites, I never saw it coming. I won’t say the spot I was in bc you’ll get a chance most likely to see available spots when you arrive. All the spots are an easy walk bw camp sites and whatever spot you may need to venture to. The impeccable bath house (w more being built), the creeks, the vineyards common space/ entertaining area….its all doable. We have been in a heat wave here, and both my German Shepard and myself stayed cool the entire outing sitting in the difft places w water.
It’s not a lot in some places, but it does the trick. I suggest a beach chair so you can sit in the shallow creek spots.
The ride to see the sites will likely consist of a golf cart ride w the camp dog, Buddy, and the owners Elaine and/or John.
These people are top notch, salt of the earth. I selfishly hesitate to leave a review for fear that it becomes too popular. But these folks are working hard to meet all the new people they can and make them family. They deserve to be a highly sought after spot to relax and get away.
I can’t wait to get back and enjoy more of these mtns and treasure the opportunity to use the land this couple has open to the public. I am so grateful that I found it!

Candy Cabin, and the others too, have so much detail put into them. They are extremely well built lodgings. it is more than glamping to stay in one of these. Highly recommend staying at the Enchanted Forest.

The spots to camp are beautiful and well kept. The horses roam in their enclosure, and you hear them along with plenty of birds and the creek.

Billy’s land is absolutely gorgeous and he has done well turning it into a magical retreat. The chapel is stunning and Billy made sure we had everything we needed. He and his animal friends were so welcoming. 11/10 would visit again.

Enjoyed the time there and fishing in the creek was great. Will say the picnic tables are not there and grass was a bit tall but for being booked the night before it was not too bad.. the showers do have good hot water and running sink.. however there were quite a few hornets/ wasps nest that made showering a bit nerving wracking, could’ve been a tad bit cleaner however for booking the night before not a big deal.. I had noticed that there was only one fire ring which was not what we had expected we did have a good time and really enjoyed it once we got settled in but I’d recommend bringing a folding table and plenty of bug spray

Magical Mountain Resorts is a fantastic campground. The animals—including miniature horses, a donkey, goats, pigs, and even maras—are incredibly friendly and social. You can really tell how sweet the owner is because the entire property is such a creative, thoughtful space where every detail matters.
The themed areas (like Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter, and Candyland) are magical, and I especially loved the large fairy garden. With a great swimming creek, plenty of hammocks, and tons of activities, it's perfect for both kids and adults. Plus, they offer great options for both RV slips and rental cabins. Highly recommend!

The creek side spot at Anna’s was superb! We got so lucky that not only did the field & trees sparkle with fireflies all night, but also the clouds parted and we had a sky full of stars! The creek trickling next to the site and small comforts like the provided piknik table made this site incredible. Anna was a wonderful host & I loved meeting her pups.

Anna was a wonderful host! The site was beautiful and the horses were a wonderful touch. It could be a little loud with the road and dogs, but it was a good introductory camping experience. Would recommend!
