This is an absolutely fantastic place to camp and relax! Katie and Danny were very cordial hosts who met me shortly after arrival with some nice welcome gifts. Their own residence is close by but far enough away as to not be intrusive. The property is VERY secluded with a 2 mile long drive off of the nearest road rural, so if your goal is to get away you can't do any better than this. The deck on the water looks great in the pictures and is way better in person. Much more spacious than it seems in the app, with plenty of seating, a large sink and tons of counter space, 2 fridges and a side dock for catch and release fishing. Morning mist on the lake and borderline riot of frog singing at dusk! Plenty of room to walk around the lake and even an outdoor shower and rest room available. An enormous slab to accommodate large RVs plus plenty of other parking space, full hookups plus a separate hose at your disposal. Honestly it's actually more of a resort type setting than a camp, but who's gonna complain about that! Check it out and I assure you won't be disappointed!

We loved camping on Ricki’s property! We booked the field & pond site, which was very beautiful. It was a bit warm down by the water so we asked to move to higher ground between the large growth trees and the breeze & sunset was so nice from that spot. Ricki was so nice and accommodating, she brought us fresh eggs and homemade jam, which were both very delicious. We loved getting to walk around the property after our long drive and see the farm animals, including the newly born calf! This place was a magical little gem & we’ll definitely will be back when in the area again!

Clean site, quiet, power only 50 amp plug bring adapter if you have 30amp , water, sewer good.. must haul trash out with you. But not an issue. The cover and concrete pad was great. I had to back in from the main road with 26ft toy hauler fit fine with one sideout. Full rig is 43ft long.

Weekend Trip to Pecan Orchard

We loved tent camping at the pond! Perfect for a nice quiet getaway. There's plenty of trees for a shady spot with a steel fire pit and some cleared brush behind the pond to pick out firewood. There's lots of wildlife and farm animals to see and plenty of space to walk. It was a great place to train our dog off leash as well. There are several dogs that live across the far side of the pond that were loud at times, but not too often. One of the funniest parts of the stay was hearing a loud "bloop" in the night when the local beaver jumped off the dock. Overall a serene and beautiful stay.

Lesley was wonderful re: communication from the first contact to the day of the stay and, ultimately, to arrival. Great directions, and updates. Her husband met me on the property and made me feel very welcomed. The property was beautiful, quiet, and a great setup. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if passing through the area again.

Regretfully, we found at short notice that I was sick. We called and communicated our need to delay a day. However, my illness was still preventing us from traveling. Ashley was very understanding of this interruption to our lives. I regrettably cancelled our stay at Grace. She was kind enough not to charge us a cancellation fee.. we will try to return a visit later in the year. I really want to see this camp spot be sucessfull. They are working on this daily!
