Camp Chet was founded with the purpose to help people encounter God through outdoor experiences. It over 900 acres of private forested land on Whitwell Mountain, which is part of the Cumberland Plateau in Southeast Tennessee. This is our second time staying at the Beech Treehouse. What a magical place. Its quiet, calm, a perfect place to recharge. At night, fireflies come out to light the treelines. Deer can also be sleeping in the field in front of the tree house at night. The cooking setup is quite nice also, if you want to cook your own meals. The AC in the loft is a nice touch during summer. Such a wonderful experience.

My fiance and I (and our cat Blair) loved our stay here. Eston and Chris were very responsive the whole trip when any questions came up. It was very cute and cozy and everything was so well prepared. It was great getting to meet Lady Cooper as well. Eston was really kind in letting us do a later check out as well. It was a very nice and relaxing trip and the sky was absolutely beautiful at night. Weekend Trip to Eco-Friendly Tree House Pods for a Georgia Glamping Experience

This place is a top favorite! It’s best of both worlds for being outdoorsy while enjoying the comforts of a bed with AC, bathroom, and kitchen. Although it is exposed to the outdoors, it is very clean, way cleaner than even some indoor places I’ve stayed. If you don’t have a 4x4 vehicle, be prepared to hike in, hence the name, either down a very steep hill, or a simpler trail through the woods. The host is very accommodating, and thorough with directions for arrival and things to know throughout the stay. Great experience and highly recommend!

It’s a perfect little space - a little slice of heaven and peace away from the city. Our pup loved it, too! She got to see the goats and feel nature! We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Briar Ridge

A lovely home away from home with everything you could need for a lil rest and relaxation... a/c to beat the heat, patio grill, wrap around mountainscape complete with lightning bug show at dusk, and a sweet pup named Lady Cooper for porch sitting company. The hosts went over and beyond in sharing their property and kindness, including a hand-delivered, freshly picked and baked blackberry cobbler (which I devoured within minutes, thanks again Chris!) Can't wait to return to this magical place ✨️❤️

Camping in their camper was the best experience! Very clean and had everything. Eston and his wife are so welcoming and willing to help wherever you need! Their property is beautiful and has a blackberry trail where you can pick and eat berries.

Weekend Trip to The Falls at Sewanee Creek

This place is the cutest! The best of both worlds for those who love camping but not necessarily tent camping. You have plumbing for a wonderful shower but then can sleep on the deck to the sounds of nature. Temps were cool enough that a fan was all you needed outside but there is no working plug once the lights are turned off as everything is connected. So a way to keep the fan running after turning off the lights would be good! We had battery operated fans thankfully. Upstairs there is air conditioner and a bed if you don’t wanna deal with sleeping with nature. Kitchen has everything you need to feed yourself and keep your drinks cold. So much to do in the area starting with the hike to the waterfall on the property and also off the property. Worth it! Esp the one off the property, name escapes me. The owners are so so kind and nice and full of great tips. They truly care about you having a nice stay! Would def stay here again. The only downside for us was the bathroom as it’s labeled compost but not truly compost. They were quick to change it out for us after the first night though so just ask! Don’t hesitate, book it!!

3 nights at Briar Ridge

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Spring Dale Hipcamp hosted by Eston and his wife. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The campsite was peaceful, well maintained, and a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Our pet, Naina, had an amazing time too! She especially loved playing with their friendly dog, Lady. Watching them have so much fun made our stay even more memorable. Thank you, Eston, for your wonderful hospitality. We truly enjoyed our time at Spring Dale and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, pet-friendly getaway. We can't wait to visit again!

4 nights at Cabin and Barn on 20 Peaceful Acres

I traveled from California to take my grandkids camping. George was an amazing host!!! He was communicative and flexible. when plans had to change due to medical stuff. The site was well designed and surprisingly well equipped. The camp kitchen had all the basics plus. I have a trailer with all my gear so I was grateful to have all the items forgot readily available. The cabin was bigger than expected. We spent a rainy afternoon playing games and napping. Great combination of convenience and real comping!! We will be back!!!

This site exceeded expectations! The hosts stocked the RV with every single thing the average person would need to feel at home, and that’s exactly what it felt like. A home away from home. I was also pleasantly surprised that there was an ABUNDANCE of blackberries on site to pick! Not only that, they had a rock pile of rocks collected from the property that were full of character, and many of them with crystals which they allowed me to take as well. I came home with blackberries and beautiful rocks/crystals as if I visited a gift shop on my way out. The hosts themselves were close in location but very hospitable and respectful of my privacy. I will very likely be returning for another visit

I loved staying in the treehouse! My girlfriend and I had a magical experience standing under the waterfall and Grant and Becky were wonderful hosts!
