We are just a short drive off of I-95 in Coastal Ga, near Brunswick,Ga; only minutes from the beaches of the Golden Isles of Ga, Okefenokee Swamp Park and Northeast Fl. Our large campsites will never leave you with concerns about invading the space neighboring campers. Many of our guest are content with watching the river roll by without hearing the noise of automobiles or emergency vehicles. Bluebird boxes, bird feeder and birdbath are near the RV site, so you will enjoy watching nature right at your campsite. During hummingbird season, you will observe these tiny amazing birds enjoying our homemade nectar. Turtles enjoy roaming the property also. The camper pictured is in the spot where your RV will be parked. A firepit and grate are at the campsite.
You will be minutes from Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island, where you can swim and surf or rent horses for a beach horseback ride. Lofton Creek Kayaking and boat launches are within minutes. I did not want to leave. I stayed for 4 days with my dogs and it was the most relaxed we’ve been on a cross country trip. There were cows to watch, resident geese, ducks and lots of other birds around to observe. The pond was perfect for the kayak and my dogs to swim whenever they wanted. Full hook ups were easy to use. Host was excellent with communication and was happy we were happy. 100 percent would stay again.

We showed up at Deep Bend Landing for just a nights stay while passing through. Passing through sounds interesting in this area because this campground is waaaaay back in the country, but my wife and I are photographers—having a hobby side with abandonment, etc. There’s plenty of this genre in the deep country of Georgia.
Even though I didn’t get the notifications, Ron worked hard to contact us so we would not be lost when we got there. Meeting with a smile and handshake, he showed us to our location and offered any answers to questions we had.
A little about the campground. This is a no frills location. While that does not appeal to some, it’s an absolutely dreamboat to people like my wife and I. The area was so peaceful and the campground was extremely quiet and peaceful—despite having multiple spots filled. The sites were spacious with lots of shade. This is the PERFECT campground for people who just want time in nature—camping. While we were just passing through this time, we’ve discussed returning on another date to possibly stay for a few days and comb the area for photography treasures.

Destination Sunset was all that we expected and more. We stayed 5 nights with a 32’ camper. The large cement pad gave us room to set up the camper and really stretch out for outdoor movies, relaxing, and enjoying the view.
The lot is secure where we felt safe to let our 3 mini-schnauzers roam and explore without losing sight of them.
They had plenty of room to run and play. The host was very kind and helpful. There was firewood already split for us to use for a small additional fee.
The lot was easy to find and absolutely beautiful. There are mature trees with Spanish moss hanging everywhere. There is plenty of shade. String lights and a security light provide just the right amount of light once the sun goes down.
This was by far the nicest site we have ever stayed at. The sunsets are breathtaking. The Adirondack chairs around the fire pit is the perfect place to watch the sky light up over the water. We had a great vacation and will definitely stay here again in the future.

What an amazing camping spot! Better than we even expected and we’ve already booked our next trip. Many more visits to come! Super easy to find as well.
The space was great, full hook up for the camper was great, the fenced in acre yard for the pups was great, the views are incredible, ability to fish, paddle board, relax on the dock, launch a boat if you have one or use the canoe and kayaks they have! The peaceful mornings, days and nights by the campfire plus firewood access. Literally everything was wonderful. I can’t say enough good things!
To top it off, Tim and his wife were very kind, accommodating and helpful in every way needed. There’s also access to a Publix and other shopping that’s not too far away if needed. This will be our regular camping spot. Keep in mind..the pictures in my review aren’t filtered. The views were just this perfect! Thanks again for everything Tim! We can’t wait to come back!

We have family in JAX and spent 11 nights at Kenny's property. We were super stoked to discover it and will be coming back on subsequent trips! The site is large, quiet, and convenient. Kenny was gracious and let us take our grandkids fishing (catch and release) on his private pond. We made some great memories with our two older FL grandkids catching bluegill and bass. Full hookups were a plus! Be sure to bring a 50-amp adapter plug. Amazing stay!

This location is truly a hidden gem and a peaceful paradise! We enjoyed the a spectacular sunset and cannot wait to visit again. The place was perfect for dogs, easy to access, and enjoyed the relaxing set up (very comfortable chairs!!).

Couldn’t ask for a better campsite! A true gem of a hipcamp - Private lot in a lovely quiet neighborhood right on the water. Level concrete parking pad, full hookups, incredible view, fantastic fishing, insane wildlife, and even a ridiculously friendly neighborhood cat. We had many dolphin sightings, caught whiting and red drum from the dock, and even were shocked by a river otter one evening while we were enjoying the stunning sunset. To top it all off, the host Tim was so kind and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and book!!

It's very peaceful, there was only 1 other rv there the whole time. There was a bonfire on Thanksgiving, I wanted to go, but I didn't get an invite and didn't want to intrude uninvited, as there were other people and I wanted to respect their space and time with family on the holiday. Also the temperature had finally dropped from shorts on the beach to holiday weather, and my heater was acting weird. And I was freezing. That fire was beautiful though, I was quite tempted. The lake is calm and relaxing. All in all a good spot to rv

This site wins for best views, sunsets, and most accommodating with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, kayaks, private boat launch and dock. Under gorgeous oaks and close to too many destinations to name from Georgia beaches to Jacksonville. Definitely recommend highly

1 night at Hostel In The Forest
This was an excellent experience. The family vibe at Hostel in the Forest was incredibly welcoming. They have been around 50 years and their systems were clear and my orientation was lovely and complete. The land is really happy and magical. I am so grateful for the opportunity to land in this place for a night, and will certainly return again if the time aligns.

What a gorgeous spot. I was immediately regretful that I only booked one night. Timothy was great - available though the app even when I was trying to locate the spot. I was distracted looking at house numbers and missed the giant hipcamp sign lol. My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful night and morning, and next time I’ll be bringing my paddle board and staying a few more days. Highly recommend this beautiful spot on the water.

We loved everything about our stay at Destination Sunset. The campsite was even better than the photos - absolutely gorgeous. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and the roads in and out were easy in our 33’ class A. Tim is an amazing host, and all the neighbors we encountered were super friendly. Tim even loaned my husband the proper lure for fishing - no success with reds, but he caught a ton of catfish and had a blast. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks, Tim!
