Our expansive 120-acre property provides campers with the freedom to choose their camping spots anywhere on the farm. Farm animals include horses, cattle, hogs, chickens, goats, bees, stocked ponds, gardens and much more. We have strategically placed signs throughout the property to help you identify potential neighbors. If you desire the company of ducks, consider setting up camp near our picturesque duck pond. For those who prefer the rustic crowing of roosters to a phone alarm, we have four chicken coops dispersed across the farm. Our horses freely roam the front pastures. The cows enjoy grazing on lush grass and taking refreshing dips in the ponds. They also relish watching the sunset from the hill's vantage point, as it offers the best view on the farm. We are a working farm with staff tending to various jobs throughout the day. We have a map to show some of the popular locations campers have enjoyed in the past, but it is first come first serve. We intentionally leave some of our fields uncut. In some fields, the grass can come up above the knees. If you are picky with the grass, these are pastures on a farm and we do not cut them. Loved the stay here, the view was awesome and it was quiet. My dog loved running around. Firewood was enough to last two full days and there’s were three spots, one closeksh to the house, one midway, and one at the top of the hill near the outhouse. The drive in was easy and stores are within a 10-15 minute drive and no traffic!

This campsite is great! It is very spacious with great views. They have canoes and kayaks available to use and it’s great to get on the water for sunrise or sunset. Located close to some awesome outdoors areas like Suck Creek and Middle Creek. Highly recommend.

Another great trip to the Cove! For anyone who comes right after us, we set up your first fire logs in the firepit. We brought our own firewood but you’ll find enough logs in the wood crib to do about two fires, plus the giant stumps that are great to prolong the fire if you can get one going. George also has a bale of pine straw in there which is super helpful to get a fire started. My whole review is about fires, can you tell it was cold while we were there haha! Saw several deer and hawks. Lots of stars and quiet.

Doni was an incredibly gracious and kind host who went above and beyond to be helpful! The property was perfect for our single night trip, and there seem to be several different sites available depending on what you’re looking for. The spot we selected had a fire ring, had enough room for several tents, and felt secluded even though it was just a 3 minute walk back to our vehicles. There is some road noise at night you can hear, but otherwise we had a wonderful time. We had some success fishing as well along the river, which was quite exciting. The paddle board was fun as well. Would love to come back with a larger group.
