Considered to be the purest, natural flowing river in the state, bring your fishing gear and kayaks. Listen to Pipwild Spring trickling over the mossy rock waterfall. Our 10x12 foot canvas safari tent offers a cozy 120 sq ft of space which can accommodate a twin size mattress in addition to the provided queen bed.

Guest access
Folklore Forest is on 3 acres and has 270 feet of River Frontage at your disposal. Little River is considered to be the purest, natural flowing river in the state. Bring your fishing gear and kayaks. Sit on the rocks at the base of the waterfall under the rhododendrons and holly trees, and wade in the water in the warm months.
Park on the side of the road in front of the Cynefin sign. There are solar lights illuminating the path to the tent if you arrive after dark. There you will find a that you can use to bring your luggage down.
Other things to note
• The river will rise and fall depending on how much rain we are getting. It tends to be lower late summer to early fall. We cannot guarantee water levels.
• This is primitive off grid camping. There's no electricity or running water. We recommend bringing a portable battery pack to charge devices.
• Please be respectful of any wildlife (there are white tail deer, raccoons, weasels, harmless black snakes, mink, foxes, coyotes, many birds, and the extremely, and we do mean extremely, rare black bear), while fishing in the little river is allowed, hunting is prohibited.

The Cove consists of 12 acres with a tributary stream and spring fed ponds
less than a half mile from the Toccoa River. It was originally the water source for the surrounding properties prior to the city installing a water system. It is completely private and unspoiled nature, with about a mile of walking trails throughout. The Mountaintop is a 3 acre high elevation site bordering 140 acres of undisturbed woods and is also very close to the Toccoa River.
Fantastic location yet very private for base camp to access the many activities in this area, or enjoy the Toccoa River. It is the only campground in Fannin County limited to only one group at a time.
Each site includes 2 access points to the Toccoa River. The Gibbs Drive community river access lot has a charcoal grill, picnic table, boat launch, swimming rock and fire pit with chairs. The Toccoa River Forest community river access lot has a big boat ramp. The river is controlled flow and usually at low water from dawn to about 2 pm, ideal for fishing or swimming/wading/boulder bopping. The River release schedule is available online at
the website TVA.gov.
The River has swift current when the dam is opened for release, usually daily.
This property is conveniently located in Mineral Bluff, Georgia 30559, just 4 miles off the 4-lane highway (Highway 515/76) and just a short drive to Blue Ridge, Georgia; Blairsville, Georgia; Murphy, North Carolina, McCaysville, Georgia and Copper Hill, Tennessee. It is a paved road drive all the way to the entrance. It is located just a few miles from the center of downtown Blue Ridge with art galleries, many restaurants, brew pubs, shopping, the Blue Ridge Brewing Company, Mercier Orchard, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad, and more!
The Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad runs most of the year from Blue Ridge to McCaysville, right along the Toccoa River.
The campsites are equally close to downtown McCaysville, Ga. /Copper Hill, TN.
You are a short drive from Lake Blue Ridge, the Chattahoochee National Forest, Brasstown Bald and many hiking trails, such as the Aska adventure area, the Appalachian Trail, the Benton McCaye Trail, and trails in the Big Frog wilderness area, Cohutta wilderness area (largest wilderness area east of the Mississippi) the Rich Mountain wilderness area and the Project Chimps hiking trails. Grampa cut wood, worked in a mine in Chattanooga, made moonshine, and anything else to feed his family. There's 200 acres here still in the family, most can be used to explore and camp on.

Our 10x12 foot canvas safari tent offers a cozy 120 sq ft of space which can accommodate a twin size mattress in addition to the provided queen bed.

Guest access
Folklore Forest is on 3 acres and has 270 feet of River Frontage at your disposal. Little River is considered to be the purest, natural flowing river in the state. Bring your fishing gear and kayaks. Sit on the rocks at the base of the waterfall under the rhododendrons and holly trees, and wade in the water in the warm months.
Park on the side of the road in front of the Cynefin sign. There are solar lights illuminating the path to the tent if you arrive after dark. There you will find a that you can use to bring your luggage down.
Other things to note
• The river will rise and fall depending on how much rain we are getting. It tends to be lower late summer to early fall. We cannot guarantee water levels.
• This is primitive off grid camping. There's no electricity or running water. We recommend bringing a portable battery pack to charge devices.
• Please be respectful of any wildlife (there are white tail deer, raccoons, weasels, harmless black snakes, mink, foxes, coyotes, many birds, and the extremely, and we do mean extremely, rare black bear), while fishing in the little river is allowed, hunting is prohibited.

The Cove consists of 12 acres with a tributary stream and spring fed ponds
less than a half mile from the Toccoa River. It was originally the water source for the surrounding properties prior to the city installing a water system. It is completely private and unspoiled nature, with about a mile of walking trails throughout. The Mountaintop is a 3 acre high elevation site bordering 140 acres of undisturbed woods and is also very close to the Toccoa River.
Fantastic location yet very private for base camp to access the many activities in this area, or enjoy the Toccoa River. It is the only campground in Fannin County limited to only one group at a time.
Each site includes 2 access points to the Toccoa River. The Gibbs Drive community river access lot has a charcoal grill, picnic table, boat launch, swimming rock and fire pit with chairs. The Toccoa River Forest community river access lot has a big boat ramp. The river is controlled flow and usually at low water from dawn to about 2 pm, ideal for fishing or swimming/wading/boulder bopping. The River release schedule is available online at
the website TVA.gov.
The River has swift current when the dam is opened for release, usually daily.
This property is conveniently located in Mineral Bluff, Georgia 30559, just 4 miles off the 4-lane highway (Highway 515/76) and just a short drive to Blue Ridge, Georgia; Blairsville, Georgia; Murphy, North Carolina, McCaysville, Georgia and Copper Hill, Tennessee. It is a paved road drive all the way to the entrance. It is located just a few miles from the center of downtown Blue Ridge with art galleries, many restaurants, brew pubs, shopping, the Blue Ridge Brewing Company, Mercier Orchard, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad, and more!
The Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad runs most of the year from Blue Ridge to McCaysville, right along the Toccoa River.
The campsites are equally close to downtown McCaysville, Ga. /Copper Hill, TN.

My great grandfather sold this property to his son Edgar, $1.25 acre in 1926. He was 16 years old and getting married, they raised 7 children in a one room cabin on this property and life was hard. Grampa cut wood, worked in a mine in Chattanooga, made moonshine, and anything else to feed his family. There's 200 acres here still in the family, most can be used to explore and camp on.

The place was amazing! Everything you need in a camp site. The fire pit and picnic table were just right for meal time and roasting marshmallows. The outhouse was a nice feature for the ladies on the trip. The shelter really came in handy the last morning since it was raining. This place is for sure on our list of places to camp at again. Another great trip to the Cove! For anyone who comes right after us, we set up your first fire logs in the firepit. We brought our own firewood but you’ll find enough logs in the wood crib to do about two fires, plus the giant stumps that are great to prolong the fire if you can get one going. George also has a bale of pine straw in there which is super helpful to get a fire started. My whole review is about fires, can you tell it was cold while we were there haha! Perfect weekend getaway! Had An amazing time at the Blue Fork Farm. It’s a beautiful property and Andy & Anna provide all you could ask for. Short drive to several nice hikes and nature walks and a lil longer to go into town for food or other things you might need. 10/10

2 nights at Chattanooga Vintage RV Escape
My partner and I stayed just 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer! The camper was so charming and cozy!
Devin is a wonderful host… including all the necessities and clear instructions on how to use everything. He responded quickly to my silly questions and made us feel very welcome.
The RV park is small and quiet but very close to grocery stores and several cute shops.
We had an amazing stay!

Tent was all set with a queen sized airmatress and electricity for anything we needed. Wood pile with saw tight there. Clean. Nice. Great host. Right off the highway but secluded. Would stay there again.

We had such a relaxing time! The cabin was perfect for the 5 of us and it had all the amenities we needed. We loved the lights around the campsite, and the kids took over the loft area in the cabin! Having a nice bathroom and the kitchen area just enhanced the stay! The highlight was enjoying the sweet kitties that spent time with us! It was a perfect little getaway!

This is such a gorgeous and relaxing spot. The cabin is clean and roomy and the outhouse is pretty nice lol! One of the best parts is that the dogs got to be off leash around the site. It was a perfect way to spend a few chilly October night. We had everything we needed: a fire pit to keep warm, cozy blankets in the cabin, and forest sounds to keep us company. I highly recommend giving this spot a try. George is a phenomenal host who was available immediately when I called him with a question. 10/10 would come back!!

Weekend Trip to Camp Chet
I love, love, love this place! It was so quiet and peaceful and beautiful! I will definitely be back for another visit! Owners were very nice and just wanted our stay to be perfect. Spent a lot of time swaying in the skychairs. I wanted to pack them up and take them with me! If your looking to unplug from the world for some peace of mind and spirituality, this is definitely it!
