Camped with a small 5th wheel, site 420. It was absolutely lovely. We were visiting our son’s family and had our granchildren to camp one day as well. Tanya and Wes were great in making sure we got there and situated. They had a lot of amenities including fire rings and wood. The sounds of the animals at night over the pond was really nice as well. We had 3 dogs with us and put up our fence for camp with no problems. The plants and quaint yard art was very enjoyable.

The Solar Dome is an oasis of solitude amongst the backdrop of the deep forest. A hidden sanctuary to escape the static of the world...the perfect place to relax, unwind and seek clarity. Anthony, Kitty Pio and myself are so grateful to our Host Robert. He is an avid outdoorsman and conveniently located onsite in the event you have any questions or concerns. Barry, the owner of the Solar Dome is a deep soul rooted in the earth. His company "ChagaGoldenProducts.com" reflects his commitment to protecting nature and oneself via organic health enhancing products. We are honored to have had the opportunity to get to know Robert & Barry and heal our souls in such an enchanting environment.

The Solar Dome is an oasis of refuge. My husband Anthony, Kitty Pio and myself found this diamond in the ruff nestled deep in the forest surrounded by nature. Our Host Robert is an avid outdoorsman who can guide you through the off grid camping process. He is conveniently located onsite. The location whilst deep in the forest is only a short drive back to civilization. From my Buddhist prospective, it is everything that I needed at the current moment for clarity and peace of mind to heal body and soul. The owner of the premises, Barry is in tune with the flow of nature. He has had some amazing travels that make for fantastic camp fire stories. He has written a book "Confessions of a Wild Chaga Hunter". It has been our honor to get to know them.

Upon entry en route to Solar Dome you will drive down wilderness paths where the static of life is left behind and the stillness of earth & soul is found. The path opens to a stunning piece of land that is laced with all sorts of vegitation emaculatly manicured. Each spot has more than enough space so that you have plenty of privacy to relax and unwind. Our host Robert, who is conveniently located on the property, communicated every step of the way ... He is an avid outdoorsman & can assist with any questions or concerns that you have. My husband Anthony, Kitty Pio and myself have found Solar Dome a place of refuge when peace from the outside world was needed most. As a world traveler, I put Solar Dome on my Top 10 list of sanctuaries. Thank you to our Host Robert for your knowledge & kindness. ✌️🕉️

Very nice large campground that is both perm/seasonal residents and short term campers. Very friendly and welcoming staff and community. Sites were large and lots of green space for pets, nice cement pad, level, and well maintained. Nice laundry room, several machines and all were clean and worked great. Even tho this is a big busy place it never felt crowded and I never had to wait my turn for anything. Plenty of times the heated pool was empty. I will definitely will return. It was just an all around pleasant week at Camp Mack.

After a late night out, I started my second day at The Oaks with an early coffee run and breakfast, then came back to soak in the scenery—and that’s when I was like I have to stay again. The property is incredibly quiet and beautiful, with a peaceful energy that’s hard to find. I hadn’t had much downtime the day before, but this morning gave me a chance to check things out.
I took a ride up to the Citrus Tower and enjoyed another coffee at their fantastic little shop, then spent the rest of the morning thrifting at local shops (always a favorite pastime). Later, I made my way to Lake Louisa—my absolute favorite spot in the area—and honestly, I want going to go there but I needed to see more nature. And it didn’t disappoint .
I’m already thinking about coming back for a longer stay just to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. For anyone looking for a solid base near Disney but away from the “bubble”, or Clermont, or Orlando. This is the spot for you.
Oh, and I almost forgot so as I was walking around and the couple times that I came in and out on the driveway, I noticed the property has a bunch of hidden gems basically art. All hidden and nestled within the property in the trees, a bunch of purpose items which is right up my alley.

I booked last-minute for a quick trip that included visiting friends in Clermont and heading into downtown Orlando that evening. The location was ideal—just a few miles from my friends and close enough to Disney for easy back-and-forth drives.
The host asked me to text or call about 15 minutes before arrival so they could meet me at the road, wave me in, and guide me directly to my site. That kind of personal touch made arrival smooth and stress-free.
Though I didn’t spend much time at the property itself, I slept incredibly well. The site was quiet, stable, and felt safe—perfect for recharging. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts were responsive and accommodating.
