And don’t forget to bring the floaty’s, snorkels and goggles because you’re going to need it in order to see all the beautiful underwater scenes on this Cristal water, rivers.
Come enjoy our beautiful tent space nestled in a wooded lot located at the beautiful Rainbow River, one of the largest spring fed rivers in the world , you will have a parking area. Kayak rentals available.
It is a short walk to the 40-mile Withlacoochee biking/walking trail which has a large variety of birds and wildlife for your viewing pleasure.
Rainbow River State park and head springs is located 4.6 miles away, a great place for swimming and snorkeling with an admission fee of $2. There is a laundromat, grocery stores, and a large selection of restaurants nearby for your dining pleasure.

We purchased our 3.39 acres two years ago and all that was on it was a RV and lots of pine trees, palmettos, woods and a small pond in the front of the property. Over those two years we have turned it into our little piece of heaven. We've added two more RV hookups which our son parked his camper on one. We built a fully furnished cook shed and on the back side of it we have an enclosed fish cleaning area. The cook shed also has an enclosed eating area. In addition, we build a full size bath house / laundry room for the convenience of our campers. We cleared out the back of our property and had a large fish pond dug and it is actually spring fed. We have stocked it with all kinds of fish. We have a dock that goes out to the pond and you can stand and feed the fish. If you like to fish you can catch and release. Our stay at Frank’s campground was great! Check in was easy and the ground was level for setting up our tent. After we settled in, he came around to make sure we were all set for the night! We had to leave early in the morning for an activity we had booked and check out was easy.

We had a great stay at Frank’s hipcamp. We only stayed overnight on our way south but would have loved to stay longer. The land is beautiful surrounded by forest. Frank was so helpful. We arrived late due to a tire blowout and he drove over to give us extra light. Hookups are new and perfect. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

Relaxing but not too far from grocery stores or nearby state parks. Rainbow river pretty close.

Great camping spot! If you follow The Crossroads on Facebook you can see what events are happening. There is plenty of space across the property. Rv spots are large and a few with full hookups. Several with just water and power and plenty for tent camping. The whole property is impressive with tons to do. Frank and everyone else out there are super welcoming. We will be back for sure. Thanks Frank for a great weekend.

Serenity Oasis is the perfect name for this property! Located close to town without the noise. This property has everything you would ever need and Linda is the perfect hostess! There are two ponds for fishing, a fish cleaning house, a screened in dining area and a shared bath house. There’s also a fire pit for making smores at night! This is our favorite vacation spot for the summer.

I loved camping here so peaceful and serene. The waterfall feature was not on but it was really cool anyhow specially at night with it all lit up. Frank the owner is amazing he met us with a happy greeting gave us the Option of 2 different sites and also let us borrow his 50 to 30 amp plug for our camper because we had forgotten ours. There is a really cool Bar with a pool table and lots of seating and a small restaurant for you to eat there on site. It was an amazing place and can't wait to pass through again. Thank you Frank again for letting us stay there.

I took my dad here for his birthday and we LOVED it! It was so nice!! Frank was friendly and accommodating! As was everyone there! Facilities were well maintained and very clean! Campsite was quiet and peaceful, not crowded. I had water and electrical hookups for my van. Quiet at night even with the biker bar on property. I felt safe staying here. Outdoor showers were great, private, hot water! Bathrooms were clean and blissfully air conditioned!

Frank the host works hard to keep up his property and is updating it when he can. There are currently about 4 FHU sites available (partially shaded) the others have full-time residents in them. Then there are 10 sites that have water (non-potable) & electric only. These are in a field with little to no shade. They is a ton of primitive campsites and these do provide shade. The restrooms are near the bar barn and the showers are near the FHU sites.
The waterfall does not run all the time usually on weekends or for special events. There is NOT a party going on all the time. Some Fridays have a karaoke person in. If you really want to know when there's a big event I suggest you contact the host. Otherwise just enjoy the quiet. If you want to party or be busy Crystal River and Dunnellon are only about 25 minutes away. We happened to be there for a benefit for a local resident who needs a medical procedure. And some good money was raised for him, hope all goes well. Yes there are many motorcycle enthusiasts that make their weekend end trip out to the property.
