Weekend Trip to Retroville RV Park

We loved waking up in #7 at the waterfront view. We pulled in forward to take advantage of the view. We originally scheduled two nights at this spot but stayed for three. It was close to our groups of friends that were staying at different beaches. We cruised the 30A, spent a day in Walton Beach , and went on an amazing Sunset Dolphin Cruise in Destin. We loved meeting the hosts and love the vibe of Retroville. ❤️ We will definitely stay here again when we return to Florida. Unfortunately, we live on the West Coast. We loved our time in Florida. Water. Electricity, and Wifi - that's all we need. We went to a laundromat after our 2nd week on the road. We prefer doing multiple loads at once and enjoying our time in the fun spots.

Weekend Trip to "Sweet Tupelo" on the "Big River"!

I loved this camping spot in Bristol, Florida. I stayed in site 3 which was huge! I had an amazing view of the river. They had full electric which is important in Florida in the spring and summer. I really loved all the extra touches, like bees on the signs and climbing bush planted at my spot. It was all well thought out. The bird songs that morning make me smile.

We loved everything about this place! Liz and Rick are the perfect hosts! We car camped for one night overlooking the creek which was amazing to wake up to. The sites are very level, which made setting up camp a breeze! I was very impressed at how clean, family friendly (games like corn hole and more) and even a swinging rope if you wanted to get wet. The sites are well equipped with fire pits, grill and even grilling tools and the portapotties were convenient and clean. We missed out on canoeing due to thunderstorms, but love that we could do that right from the campground. The sites are well spaced so you can enjoy the serenity or go visit your neighbors if you are so inclined. They also have some beautiful trails and nature abounds. They also have plugins for recharging your phones in the community area. This was my first time camping in a long time, but thanks to such a positive experience, it won’t be my last time, or last visit here.

5 nights at Sand Between Your Toes

This is our second time staying at this property in the last year and a half in Robin our 32 foot Class C Jayco. There is a very large fence around the property for complete privacy from surrounding neighbors. We always bring our ebikes with us so we can visit our kids at a local resort property on the beach 2 miles away. Public beach access is less than one mile away. If we needed groceries, Publix is 1.1 miles away. There is sidewalk access everywhere including some local restaurants. Brian is a great host and always quick to respond to any questions we have. Thanks again Brian!!

This place is amazing! The hosts are awesome and the whole set up is amazing. We loved camping next to the beautiful peaceful river and the canoe to the springs was breathtaking we had to do it again the next day, we got rained out the second day but we still had a great time. We definitely recommend! We will definitely be back when we come back to Florida.

Weekend Trip to Country Camping At The Beach

We truly loved our stay at this site. The location is extremely convenient, even by bike or by walking. The neighborhood is safe and the hosts are ideal. Laura was communicative and gave us space, making it feel like a totally private stay. The fence and gate were great for kids, and the animal visits were so sweet! The hot tub really hit the spot after a long day of scuba and beach time. We hope to come back soon. Thank you Laura! Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our return trip to Sweet Tupelo! We have had the pleasure of staying at Site 1 and Site 3 - Site 3 is our new favorite spot! Spacious, well kept, beautiful views, quiet and peaceful camping. The grandchildren really enjoyed their hammock time and playing at the nearby park! It was a wonderful extended weekend getaway and Glenn is a top notch, very accommodating host! Looking forward to our next stay very soon!

In just over 45 minutes you can be playing on the beach in Panama City Beach, (world’s most beautiful beaches). Something a little different is just a few minutes away Falling Waters state park (Florida's tallest waterfall) and a swimming hole with walking trails. Speaking of swimming Ponce De Leon spring is big and beautiful clear blue hole spring to the west. Or go east to Marriana, about the same distance and you can visit Florida Caverns (Florida's only touring cave) with a beautiful spring with swimming, and hiking there too. We have guest also go to the Econfina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The farm is gated with a remote controlled gate for security. All our RV sites have full hook ups with 15, 30, and 50 amp connections, great clean water and sewer at each site. Also a dump station on the property. We are currently working on a bath house with laundry facilities will be ready by the fall of 23. a total of 4 sites on 100 acres (with a couple of more in the works with some tent site on the horizon too) you are sure to be able to find a quiet place.
