We opened to the public on Labor Day 2014. Most people come to stay either in our rental cottage or in their horse trailers/RVs with their horses to ride the awesome trails in the 20,000+ acre adjacent Croom Forest. However, because our ranch is so peaceful, many stay here without horses just to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many opportunities to recreate in the area, including outstanding mountain and road biking, OHVing, hiking, golfing, and canoeing/kayaking. Many full-time and working RVers stay for extended periods. Note that our camping area is small and intimate, so you will be close to other campers. We have 5 30-amp hookups, and 2 50-amp hookups; if you need 50-amp service, please request it. Note that a minimum of a 2-night stay will typically be required on weekends, especially during our busy season. WiFi is available, but we call it "Country WiFi" since it sometimes can be slow and may or may not be accessible from where you are parked; also, Verizon cell service in our area is terrible. If internet access is important to you, we suggest having your own hotspot or internet service (many working RVers have Starlink). Note that GPS can be very mean in our rural area; make sure your turn off Highway 50 is onto paved High Corner Road, which is 2 miles west of I-75 (if GPS tries to turn you down unpaved, dead-end roads, DO NOT LISTEN..you will get stuck!). My first experience at Bare RV Resort was fantastic. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from my first clothing-optional resort, but I immediately felt welcome, safe, and comfortable. What stood out most was the warm, respectful, and judgment-free atmosphere — it made for such a positive introduction to this kind of space. I visited with my friend, and we ended up making new friends during my stay, which made it even more special. The pool and hot tub were a highlight, and the whole resort felt cozy and inviting. It strikes a great balance of social and relaxed, and the location near other resorts in the area is a bonus. A wonderful first experience, and we will gladly return.

AMAZING!!! I can't say enough honestly. Our family goes to Orlando a couple times a year and have always stayed at the bigger campgrounds, Fort Wilderness, Margaritaville, etc. This was the most quiet, peaceful place we have ever stayed in Orlando. The people that are there we so nice and polite, and it didn't even seem like we were in the city at all. The site set up is awesome and the hot tub was my kids highlight lol. I will return over and over. The convenience of the location is near perfect to everything. Ginger was superb, and helpful with recommendations nearby as it was my wife's birthday. We can't thank you enough. Bottom line, AMAZING!!!!

Chris was an absolute gem, and so is the property. I was able to pull straight into his driveway since I wasn't planning to unhook, and it was an easy back-out when I left. This site is situated in a beautiful neighborhood and I took advantage of the nature preserve just down the street for noon-time walks. As a solo woman traveler I felt very safe at the property and in the neighborhood. Chris reached out the morning of my planned arrival to clarify my ETA and establish a line of communication. He came out to greet me when I arrived, made sure I had everything I needed and showed me where the hookups were, etc. Other than that he left me to my own devices and encouraged me to message him with any questions or needs. Very helpful and caring guy. Here's where Chris went from a great host to an exceptional one: not only did he give me permission to have an order shipped to his house, but when there was a huge mix-up, he took receipt of the package (which arrived after I had left) and made sure it was safe until UPS came to pick it up. It was an extra hassle for him and he was super cool about it. 10/10 would recommend.

Super nice people live here! It's really close to anything you could ever need. Walmart is right next door, fast food is within walking distance, the port is walking distance as well as many seafood restaurants on the water. Really really nice place

Dan’s communication and directions were spot on and just what I needed for a quick work trip in Brooksville. There’s a large level field west of the driveway, and a neighbor’s mobile home closer to the main road blocks out any road noise (if there was any). If you’re a self-contained boondocker passing through or with things to do in Brooksville/Spring Hill, stop at Red Wolf Ranch. I’ll be back.
