Beaches, State Parks with springs and all the central Florida attractions are within an hours drive or less. You are free to roam the fields and select vegetables and herbs to prepare in your meals or you can take a stroll in beautiful downtown DeLand and take in a nice meal. Bathroom and cooking amenities are less then 2 minutes from sites. You are just 5 miles from grocery stores and shopping, but we have the feel of being in the country. Beaches, State Parks with springs and all the central Florida attractions are within an hour drive or less. You are free to roam the fields and select vegetables and herbs to prepare in your meals or you can take a stroll in beautiful downtown DeLand (recently voted best downtown in America) and take in a nice meal. A few things to note. 1. Cumber site is large enough for tent camping only. 2. We allow only one vehicle per campsite but there is additional parking at the front of the property about 250 feet from the sites. 3. No open fires are permitted at the campsite due to the proximity of the greenhouses. We do have a screened in fire pit that is free to use. 4. If at all possible, please no check-ins after 11 p.m. This is a working farm, and we have to get up early. If you absolutely cannot get here by then let us know in advance and we will work with you. 5. NO RV"S OR FIFTH WHEELS! We do not have 30amp electric service and the sites were not designed for large vehicles. Pop up campers and vans are ok as long as you do not need 30 amp electric.

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the river, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space age pushed forward into the future.However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch. You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! Being adjacent to the marina renters who bring their own boat, with insurance, have the option to use the Sanford Boat Works facilities which includes their boat ramp, covered docking amenities, fuel dock, and their low key clubhouse that has a well maintained pool and gaming area. The use of the Sanford Boats Works facilities is an additional cost that is paid directly to the Marina. Information can be provided on request. Although the use of the marina is a boon there are public boat ramps not far from the home and more than adequate parking for more than one trailer on the property; therefore, everyone can enjoy the river, Lake Monroe, and even Lake Jessup. Watch rocket launches, visit nearby beaches, attend NASCAR races, see local communities of New Smyrna Beach or Titusville, relax at Canaveral National Seashore, birdwatch at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, fish Mosquito Lagoon, or visit the amusement parks of Orlando, we are a safe and quiet location to stage your adventures from! Whew! That’s a lot for the tiny price of $27/night! We have a nice level, grassy campsite, complete with a fire ring, picnic table, and firewood. Nothing fancy, but we are clean, secure, private and gated. You can come and go as you please, and day-trip all over beautiful Central Florida!

We are a community supported agriculture farm that uses a blend of modern technology with organic farming practices to feed over 120 family's fresh vegetables and herbs. We offer camping space with electricity and bathroom facilities available. Your children will love our two friendly, playful Australian sheepdogs May and Lily. You are just 5 miles from grocery stores and shopping, but we have the feel of being in the country. Beaches, State Parks with springs and all the central Florida attractions are within an hours drive or less. You are free to roam the fields and select vegetables and herbs to prepare in your meals or you can take a stroll in beautiful downtown DeLand and take in a nice meal. We offer camping space with electricity and bathroom facilities available. Your children will love our two friendly, playful Australian sheepdogs May and Lily. 4 Camp sites are set at the back of the property under oak trees. Bathroom and cooking amenities are less then 2 minutes from sites. You are just 5 miles from grocery stores and shopping, but we have the feel of being in the country. Beaches, State Parks with springs and all the central Florida attractions are within an hour drive or less. You are free to roam the fields and select vegetables and herbs to prepare in your meals or you can take a stroll in beautiful downtown DeLand (recently voted best downtown in America) and take in a nice meal. A few things to note. 1. Cumber site is large enough for tent camping only. 2. We allow only one vehicle per campsite but there is additional parking at the front of the property about 250 feet from the sites. 3. No open fires are permitted at the campsite due to the proximity of the greenhouses. We do have a screened in fire pit that is free to use. 4. If at all possible, please no check-ins after 11 p.m. This is a working farm, and we have to get up early. If you absolutely cannot get here by then let us know in advance and we will work with you. 5. NO RV"S OR FIFTH WHEELS! We do not have 30amp electric service and the sites were not designed for large vehicles. Pop up campers and vans are ok as long as you do not need 30 amp electric.
