Having our own canoe to explore the water made the experience even more special. The evening was just as magical, sitting by the fireplace under the stars. It was quiet, cozy, and the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Honey's place is an amazing little oasis in the heart of Miami. I was not expecting it to be as beautiful and serene as it was, but it exceeded all expectations!! John is not one of those hosts that is snooping around your campsite, but he is always reachable via message, and that makes him a great caretaker. The grounds are very clean and the location is within a 15 - 30 min drive to most attractions or major locations in Miami. My wife, mother in law, and I, loved our time at honey's place and can't wait to go back!!!

Very pleasant stay amongst the old growth avocado trees. This was a fantastic stay for us as we like minimalist camping (overland conversion, rooftop tent) We have our own water, power and ability to cook however bathroom with running water is the one thing we still at times depend on. We got both with this site, as well as a tour and some mangos from our wonderful host Joanne. Will definitely stay again.

Weekend Trip to Honeys Place: Urban Camping Oasis
John’s property is gorgeous! I can tell he’s passionate about it and wants his guests to have an amazing experience. If staying in summer I would definitely recommend a tent fan or cooler of some sort as the weather can be extremely humid. My fiancée and I loved the pond and the fish in it as well as all the little lizards. His set up with the lights and mini-beach under coconut trees is breathtaking! I hope to be able to come back sometime 😄

Vicky was not only an exceptional host but she goes above and beyond with her hospitality and guidance during sessions. I felt safe, and left with a newfound sense of self. Highly recommend fully immersing yourself in as many sessions as possible especially the horse therapy and goddess combo ( you truly are treated like a goddess). I will be back for more!
