Amazing site. One of the best campsites I have stayed at. I spent the trip with my son and we had an incredible time. The site is spacious, flat, and well laid out, which makes it great for families and groups. The fire pit and seating area made evenings easy and relaxing, and the grill and picnic tables were well positioned and practical. There is plenty to do without leaving camp, but town is close for food and supplies. Walmart is right off the highway, and there are solid local spots nearby, including a fun vinyl record shop in town. We enjoyed it so much that we already booked the site again and are bringing our whole family back in a few weeks.

I stayed 2 nights at La Quinta Bonita and I’ll tell you what. - what a peaceful little retreat with such down-to-earth and easy-going helpful hosts! If only time and life had allowed for a longer stay, I would not have hesitated to extend mine.
With the exception of nature’s nightly medley of hoots and howls (which is what this city boy NEEDS on retreats! lol ), the quiet was very refreshing.
The little camper is bigger than meets the eye when you enter it. Shower, toilet, all I needed worked well. Running water throughout.
Fresh eggs and hand-picked veggies for breakfast was a plus. Best omelet I’ve made in a long time. When I arrived, I was shown around and if I needed help, it was easy to get. I’m very much looking forward to many visits to come.

This RV campsite was just as listed and met all our expectations. The space was private, very clean, and clearly well maintained. There were additional amenities, including a pool, that we didn’t use due to the time of year. The site was spacious enough for our Class A, trailer, and SxS with plenty of room to maneuver. The trailhead at the park was perfect and made getting out and exploring easy. It was peaceful and easy to settle in, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Friendly host, great camp spot with a white-sand river and beautiful woods. The grounds were full of amenities like fire rings, hammocks, and chairs. There were even extras such as a trampoline and various yard games. The gated site made the whole place feel safe and secluded. We were only one of two groups there during our stay. By far, these were some of the best outhouses I’ve encountered—complete with working lights and a hand-washing sink between the two stalls. Definitely a place worth staying!

Karen and Phil were great hosts. We had some trouble with our vehicle and there were more than glad to help us. They were very friendly and took time to show us around the property and even shared a cutting of a plant from her garden. This place was very clean and had great outdoor areas for us to hang out. It’s a beautiful property. My wife and I both loved the horses and the trees. The outdoor shower was great with the open sky above but still had complete privacy. It was just a few minutes from historic St. Augustine. We would definitely stay there again.

The property is an active horse farm. The camping area is nearby but separated from the horses. I enjoyed the property and the "rustic shower" was a memorable experience!

Loved camping here! The family is very welcoming, the bathroom is clean, and the outdoor shower stays hot. The view is gorgeous and there's plenty of space between campsites. It is an open pasture so you can be seen by other campers, but hidden from the road. Some of the older reviews stated that they could hear trains all night, but I didn't hear any (I'm a light sleeper). My spouse said he heard it once. There were some gunshots, but that's to be expected with the location. It's also only 20 minutes from downtown St. Augustine which was awesome! We will definitely be booking here again. 😊

We had an amazing stay at Blackwater Ranch! From the very beginning, the owner was wonderful to work with and communicated clearly and promptly, which made everything so easy and stress-free.
The property itself was beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the bathrooms were spotless, which is always a big plus for our family.
We truly enjoyed our time here and couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. We will definitely be recommending Blackwater Ranch to friends and family and look forward to staying again in the future!

We love Gayle’s place. We stayed here a few years ago as well. It’s very private and mostly quiet. The outdoor shower is a treat. Gayle even offered us firewood. Beautiful place and so convenient to downtown St Augustine.

This was a dream Hipcamp! So many amenities that made camping easier (sinks for washing dishes, brushing teeth), a clean portapotty, and a magical shed with a fridge AND washer/dryer. The hot tub was delightful. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely stay here again! Karin and Phil were wonderful hosts and communication was easy.

The tent camping with electric hookup was exactly what we expected and the area was spacious. Property was well maintained and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We will definitely be coming back to visit! Highly recommend renting the entire property with friends which we plan on doing next year!

I loved staying here. It is really spacious and nice. The horses are lovely. There’s a portable toilet and a nice shower with hot water. The host is really friendly and always willing to help. I would definitely recommend.

The campsite was clean and spacious. Even though other campers were present, we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The water features were unique and felt safe to swim and play around. We had a fun time stargazing. We even got lucky and witnessed several hours of meteor showers.

We had to find a campground last minute after a mess up with the place we were supposed to stay, Linda and Len were quick to respond and able to accommodate us as we rolled in late. Linda, sweetly met us and showed us to the campground, giving us the lay of the land. The toilet was clean, there was running water and soap provided as well as trash and recycling bins. There was a fire ban so we were unable to make a fire, but they have a pit provided for campers’ use when the ban is not enacted. It was a great spot for us and our pup. The spanish moss on the trees is stunning. We DEFINITELY recommend Good Earth Farms: clean, friendly and safe!
