Review Hipcamp 24.-26.5. Lisa and Derek are the best hosts, super-nice, generous, flexible and friendly. We had to push our reservation to the next day on very short notice, and they graciously accommodated that. They greeted us like friends, and treated us to super fresh fish caught by Derek the same day, and delicious eggs laid by their beautiful backyard chickens. Their yard is an oasis, a true little paradise with lush plantings, a very nice pool and inviting patio area to relax in. My personal favorite features were the wonderful outdoor shower and the little secluded seating area in the bamboo grove by "our" driveway. And, of course, the chickens ! The location is great, too, it is literally a 5 minute walk down the street to the beautiful beach, restaurants, bars and stores- the area has a lot to offer, and Lisa and Derek were happy to share their inside knowledge. We highly recommend this super- cool hip camp retreat!

Nice place to spend a night camping. Lots of farm animals and open areas to walk around. Cute kitties too. Host was very nice and brought us his equipment to make a fire at night. You can see so many stars at night, beautiful.

Indeed I would recommend this place. What a beautiful setting.... and everyone so friendly. I'm not a wine drinker but you don't have to be cause there's plenty to do while there. Camping was especially great; hardly anyone was the there .... so I'm writing to change that. Come on overhere and stay awhile.

When we arrived we were met and directed where to pull in. Area was easily accessible for our 45 ft camper, back in. Very quiet area. Was worried because you are kind of close to owners house but barely saw anyone. Seems to be a very well used site, had a few other campers in and out. Again we really never saw others!!! Highly recommend. Very close to space center, Merritt Island refuge, site seeing, good dining and Cape Canaveral port. 30/50 amp hook up, water. Close to a Loves truck stop, KOA and other campgrounds for dumping waste. Had some plan changes and owners were very kind to accommodate for a longer stay!!! Thank you very much for your hospitality and sharing your space with us. Would definitely come back!!!

Our property, though small, is a heavily wooded, botanical dream totally geared for outdoor enjoyment & living. We have a greenhouse of tropical plants and function as a microfarm; just steps away from the ocean w/backyard chickens for fresh eggs, salad greens, herbs, fruits and vegetables grown year-round. You will find a fenced communal pool area, outdoor shower, bathroom, 2 covered porch areas, including outdoor kitchen space, minifridge, gas grill w/side burner, TV, Wi-Fi and hammock(s). This is shared space although we will always ensure your privacy and will do our best to stay out of your personal space throughout your stay. We are 420 friendly and don't mind well behaved pets as long as you assume all responsibility, are careful with them and clean up after yourselves. Quiet time 10pm-8am. The property is geared more toward adults as many of our plants are poisonous, sharp or have dangerous spines, especially if wandering off the main paths and walkways. Safety is a priority; because of this, we ask that you do not touch our plants and stay on the main paths and walkways when enjoying the property. The RV parking site has a 50 amp (30 amp adapter) RV power hook-up. There is also a 15-amp outlet (120V) at the site you can use as well. There is potable/city water hook-up, but no blackwater sewer services or blackwater dumping on the property. Your site has a dedicated shaded sitting area surrounded by bamboo and palm trees for your personal use secluded in the front yard. We're in a safe, residential neighborhood in a wonderful, unincorporated, beachside community, less than a mile to Walmart, Aldi, Walgreens, countless restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and the Indian River Lagoon. Our ocean access boardwalk does not offer public restrooms, parking or lifeguards, but there are several parks nearby that do. If you’re looking for places to visit for the day or services nearby, you can head to Okeechobee, which is only 20 min away. Lake Placid is only 40 min, Vero Beach is only 1 hr, and Melbourne is 1 hr 30 min. All of the listed locations offer great opportunities for fishing, hunting, swimming, and beach hangouts. Each of the sites allows for watching the livestock, hanging out at the watering hole, and sitting around the communal campfire. Our favorite things about our property are privacy, amenities, and all of the roaming mini livestock throughout the property! Your hosts do not live onsite however, will be available to you during your visit. We are friendly and as non-invasive as we can be. We do love meeting our guests and are available for any questions that come up. Each site is just under a quarter acre and can accommodate a trailer or two tents as well as room for a car/truck with an ATV/UTV trailer.
