Tres Lagos Camping is part of the Florida agritourism initiative. Where travelers from all over the world come to experience and enjoy a different kind of florida. We’re a small 5 acre family farm involved in the cultivation and preservation of rare and endangered palms with many other edible tropical plants for our visitors to enjoy. You can view our palms at all stages of growth from seed to maturity. Enjoy our U-pick varieties of mangos, Caribbean cherries, sugar cane, bananas, coconuts and we’re adding more all the time. There is even a sugarcane maze and bamboo gardens in progress for the kids and adults to enjoy. But don’t forget your veggies! Get up close and personal with where some of your medicines and vegetables come from. We have some small areas for education about different medicinal plants like Turmeric, ginger, saw palmetto and a few others. Take the tours or classes or just sit back and enjoy the view! It was a lovely, rustic site with a great ambiance. Clear skies at night free of light pollution made for a moon and starry night. Trina was very helpful and provide generous information about the site and what it offered. Though situated in a rural setting, it was just minutes away from the small town of LaBelle. Would most definitely stay again. Great value and experience.

Trina is a visionary who knows how to make it happen. This place is very unique and offers way more than the average campsite. There are areas you can have privacy as well as areas you can enjoy with other like minded travelers.
There is a house you can rent through Airbnb or reserve a spot for your tent or preferred camping method. I was in a camper van and there was another group on a caravanning kayaking trip with a small boat trailer, and all were able to drive to their spots without issue.
Trina and Zay were welcoming and knowledgeable about their land, made me feel right at home. As a solo woman traveler, I felt safe and slept like a baby .There’s a pond, chameleons, large open areas and a few areas that are a work in progress.
The best outdoor shower I’ve seen in years with hot water!
Would absolutely recommend and look forward to returning to see what new elements they add.
Oh, if you’re working remotely or need internet, I was able to use a hotspot through Verizon but also was able to connect to Trina’s WiFi network too.

Spent a week at the Hide Away, it was excellent, little slice of heaven, our dogs loved it, did a little kayaking on Shell creek it is super easy to kayak on. Shower and bathroom excellent. We will be returning. John was very responsive to all questions. We loved it. A++++

This was just an incredible stay! The location is PERFECT fir walking to many restaurants, shops, bars with life music and parks. You can ride bikes to several beaches and paved trails. The outside space is amazing here also! Private feeling and a clean, heated pool with lots of seating and loungers, plus beautiful lighting at night! The best part of our stay was meeting the best hosts you could ever want! Very receptive and welcoming! I highly recommend a stay here.

Loved the peaceful setting. The a frame had everything you could possibly need to use while staying there. our dog loved playing with theirs and exploring the resort. Bath house was clean and close by. Loved the outdoor shower!

Stayed here with my six tear old son. A beautiful camp site, private, and a 30 second walk to the toilet & shower, and to the creek too! So beautiful. Plenty of trees to provide shade. John, the host, was so friendly and a wonderful person.

We stayed in the Hideaway campsite with our 23 foot sprinter van. We loved the privacy and being surrounded by nature. The walk to the bathroom/shower area is very nice. There’s gardens and a Koi pond and a little tiki bar and a cobblestone-like walkway with patios. I would call this a community area. The bathroom was always clean and the outdoor shower although I was hesitant, was actually very nice with plenty of hot water and good flow. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Trina’s property is gorgeous! She was also very nice and welcoming. My family had a wonderful 3 nights there! My children enjoyed the chickens, Muppet and Diabla. They also enjoyed visiting the baby chicks. They said that was their favorite part. It’s very spacious and we could set up our badmitton/volleyball net. We got to meet other great campers and our kids had a lot of fun. They were worn out by 8 every night and slept for 12 hours. They were able to run around and explore the land, they thoroughly enjoyed the pond swing. Mom and dad loved that they could run around and disappear for hours safely. We really love the outdoor shower, the most magical shower I’ve ever had and now I want one lol. Loved that there was a bathroom and outdoor kitchen so we could wash our cooking gear and didn’t have to pack up dirty dishes. It was amazing and really felt like we were out in the woods. We will definitely be coming back and maybe bringing some friends!

Thank you John and family for an amazing trip! You can see from the property’s attention to detail how much they care to provide an excellent experience! The cabin is stunning! It has everything you need! The beds are super comfortable! The firepit was beautifully set up. The bathroom was clean and the outdoor shower was great! The girls had a great time on the trampoline, swings, and playing with the pups. The sunset boat trip was such a treat! Please just go and experience it for yourself!

The place was very nicely situated, the campsite was spacious, private, with a fire pit, chairs and a picnic table. Even had an electrical cord to charge up my bluetti. With that said, the bathrooms are a bit of a walk thru the darkness , while lit … for this northerner who’s seen many signs about bears, panthers, poisoned snakes and spiders … it was a bit nerve racking for me, but that’s just me perhaps. Overall a pleasant place, where I slept well.
