This is the best Hipcamp experience I have had. A secluded boondock spot alongside the majestic Suwanee River and next to the Florida Trail. Beautiful scenery and wonderful hiking trail without having to leave your site.

RV site was nice with stone pad. We had water and electric hook up and were able to use one of his dump stations before we left. It was quiet at night and about 8 miles from a cute beach 🏖️. Definitely had a country feel being off a dirt road.

Weekend Trip to Suwannee River Glamping

The property itself is filled with magic. It is set next to the Florida Trail and the Suwannee River. The endless trails and nature not only sets it apart, but makes this campground unique. The amenities that are included in the site are well and above everything you need for camping. The covered patio is massive and has a microwave, fridge, grill, flattop and just about anything you need. My wife and two boys loved this place and we will be back :)

Absolutely wonderful stay! We went with our kids and puppy. Even with the rain, our stay was comfortable and fun. This was our second time there and won't be our last! Janet is always a wonderful host and Jerry checked on us daily.

What a great stay! Very secluded but only 10-25 minutes away if you forget a necessity. Space was clean and host Janet was very welcoming: We loved sitting around the fire ring and hanging out under the canopy with the fires. We visited during new moon and the stars were absolutely incredible!I loved that we could clamp with some comforts like a toilet and hot water but feel isolated like we were the only ones around!

Kai and Lisa were very wonderfully accommodating hosts! Their community was devastated during the hurricane so the beaches were not available for swimming. However, the birdwatching was wonderful! They recommended multiple other options that we were able to enjoy. We chose Cedar Key Island and the 2nd Street Cafe (Steemers) where the seafood was excellent! We wlook forward to our next stay!

Me and my pup had SO much fun Glamping last weekend! Janet is a great hostess and Jerry made sure I had everything I needed (including things I forgot to bring). I spent the majority of time at the G Spot (gazebo) on the river! Watching the river, the sun go down, doing my yoga and listening to music in this paradise. The weather was amazing! We enjoyed a fire in the outside fireplace each night while we watched the moon come up. EXACTLY what I needed after a week of anxiety and turmoil! Reset my soul!

Suwannee River Glamping

In 1990 the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the Suwannee River so Southeast Timberlands sold off it's holdings and we were lucky enough to purchase 6 acres and 444 feet of riverfront. A designated "Pristine Scenic Waterway" with very steep banks, the Suwannee is one of the few"wild" rivers left in the United States and can rise over 30 feet to flood stage almost overnight; yet due to its unique topography we can access it no matter how high or low the water. The Forest Service has bought up the surrounding lots, creating a 10 mile Conservation corridor supporting the National Scenic Florida Trail, it's clearly marked footpaths and natural attractions. To that end, we have left the old growth upland forest the way we found it. The campsite is a natural feature as is the Zen deck and canoe launch, a swale draining the ridge. The campsite is level, the lane to the river slopes gently dropping in elevation 20 feet over 1,000 in making it easy for able bodied guests to navigate their way to the white sugar sand beach. We want to share our retreat with those who are looking for a real wilderness experience in an exclusive private setting. A Waiver of Liability is required by all guests as the Wilderness is an inherently dangerous place. We only offer one accommodation per weekend with a maximum of 8 people so our guests can have the seclusion they desire and be free to enjoy the natural wonder of the woodland experience in any manner they choose.

This is the beautiful wild coast of Florida's "Big Bend." Located halfway between Perry to the north and Steinhatchee to the south, Keaton Beach is an outpost town with a laidback, relaxing atmosphere. No motels, no fast food. The wild, natural public beach has a shaded picnic area, restrooms, a boat ramp and a 700-foot fishing pier. These are prime scalloping waters from mid to late summer, and the area is famous for year-round fishing. We recently bought this property with an old hunting cabin owned by a well known baseball coach. The cabin is currently transformed into a residence. We have 4 RV spots available in the front of the property.. Only an 8 minute drive to the sandy swimming beach of Keaton Beach (see pic above) or 20 min walking distance to Adams Sunset Beach. Stop by on your way to South Florida or up north. We do not have a maximum stay.. We have 50/30 and 15 amp sites available. 2 back it, 1 drive in, 1 pull through site. 2 sites are full hook up, 1 site 50 amp electric and water. 1 site 20 amp electric only. If you see "occupied" in the calendar we probably still have sites available. (we have a total of 4) Just contact us using a "free" day. What can you do in our area? Keaton Beach swimming area, fishing, legally ATV riding on miles of dirt roads, golf carts allowed on public streets, nature trails for hiking and bird watching, Hagen Cove Park is one of the darkest spots in Florida for stars watching, dinner at the Nowhere Grill with the famous Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, a day trip to Tallahassee with the Railroad Square ( 55 min ) Lafayette Blue Springs State Park (40 min ), St. Marks Lighthouse (55 min )

There’s a convenience store down the road in case you forgot something...Come and see us and thanks again...Learn more about this land:We are perfectly located less than a mile from the Gulf of Mexico! Come out and get out for Scallop season July to Sept. Here and in the area you will find excellent fishing year round and hunting in the fall. We purchased our 3.39 acres two years ago and all that was on it was a RV and lots of pine trees, palmettos, woods and a small pond in the front of the property. Over those two years we have turned it into our little piece of heaven. We've added two more RV hookups which our son parked his camper on one. We built a fully furnished cook shed and on the back side of it we have an enclosed fish cleaning area. The cook shed also has an enclosed eating area. In addition, we build a full size bath house / laundry room for the convenience of our campers. We cleared out the back of our property and had a large fish pond dug and it is actually spring fed. We have stocked it with all kinds of fish. We have a dock that goes out to the pond and you can stand and feed the fish. If you like to fish you can catch and release. There is also a table and chairs out next to it if you want to sit and relax.Learn more about this land:Quiet 3.39 acres with a RV hookup, two ponds, a separate bathhouse/laundry room on the premises in addition to a cook shed with grills and cookers (propane included) along with fish cleaning station. We have a fire pit available to use (wood included). We're located approximately a mile from the boat ramp and Roy's restaurant where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Keaton Beach is just 17 miles from us which has a nice little beach and beautiful scenery.
