This is the beautiful wild coast of Florida's "Big Bend." Located halfway between Perry to the north and Steinhatchee to the south, Keaton Beach is an outpost town with a laidback, relaxing atmosphere. No motels, no fast food. The wild, natural public beach has a shaded picnic area, restrooms, a boat ramp and a 700-foot fishing pier. These are prime scalloping waters from mid to late summer, and the area is famous for year-round fishing. We recently bought this property with an old hunting cabin owned by a well known baseball coach. The cabin is currently transformed into a residence. We have 4 RV spots available in the front of the property.. Only an 8 minute drive to the sandy swimming beach of Keaton Beach (see pic above) or 20 min walking distance to Adams Sunset Beach. Stop by on your way to South Florida or up north. We do not have a maximum stay..
We have 50/30 and 15 amp sites available. 2 back it, 1 drive in, 1 pull through site. 2 sites are full hook up, 1 site 50 amp electric and water. 1 site 20 amp electric only.

A pet friendly, off leash, dark skies 6 acre slice of paradise in North Florida on the banks of the Suwannee River. In 1990 the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the Suwannee River so Southeast Timberlands sold off it's holdings and we were lucky enough to purchase 6 acres and 444 feet of riverfront. A designated "Pristine Scenic Waterway" with very steep banks, the Suwannee is one of the few"wild" rivers left in the United States and can rise over 30 feet to flood stage almost overnight; yet due to its unique topography we can access it no matter how high or low the water.
The Forest Service has bought up the surrounding lots, creating a 10 mile Conservation corridor supporting the National Scenic Florida Trail, it's clearly marked footpaths and natural attractions. To that end, we have left the old growth upland forest the way we found it. The campsite is a natural feature as is the Zen deck and canoe launch, a swale draining the ridge. The campsite is level, the lane to the river slopes gently dropping in elevation 20 feet over 1,000 in making it easy for able bodied guests to navigate their way to the white sugar sand beach.
We want to share our retreat with those who are looking for a real wilderness experience in an exclusive private setting. A Waiver of Liability is required by all guests as the Wilderness is an inherently dangerous place. We only offer one accommodation per weekend with a maximum of 8 people, because we only have 1 toilet, so our guests can have the seclusion they desire and be free to enjoy the natural wonder of the woodland experience in any manner they choose.

We purchased our 3.39 acres two years ago and all that was on it was a RV and lots of pine trees, palmettos, woods and a small pond in the front of the property. Over those two years we have turned it into our little piece of heaven. We've added two more RV hookups which our son parked his camper on one. We built a fully furnished cook shed and on the back side of it we have an enclosed fish cleaning area. The cook shed also has an enclosed eating area. In addition, we build a full size bath house / laundry room for the convenience of our campers. We cleared out the back of our property and had a large fish pond dug and it is actually spring fed. We have stocked it with all kinds of fish. We have a dock that goes out to the pond and you can stand and feed the fish. If you like to fish you can catch and release. We had a wonderful stay at this campsite. We were running a bit late, but the host was waiting for us with a smile and made us feel welcome right away. He helped us get settled and even checked back about 30 minutes later to make sure we had everything we needed.
The campsite itself was beautifully manicured and thoughtfully decorated for the holiday, which added a really nice touch. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful, and being away from the city lights made the night sky absolutely stunning—the stars were unbelievably bright.
If you’re looking for a relaxing, well-kept campsite with a thoughtful host, this is a great place to stay.

Great place to take the family for an adventure. Easy access to the Florida Trail. Highly recommend checking out Disappearing Creek, which about a 15 min hike from camp. The propery is large and very private. The campsite is approximatley 1000 ft from the river. You can drive down to the river, although the bank fairly steep. A golf cart or four wheeler would make it easier to get to the beach, where you can launch paddle craft, fish, and swim. There is a large pole barn to shelter in during bad weather. It has a table with chairs, a small kitchen sink and table. Power is available at near the fire ring and in the screened room with a hammock. I recommend bringing an extension cord. Shout out to Jerry for providing firewood for a nominal fee. The bathroom and shower are a big plus. The river is a 5 min walk from the campsite, the beach is around 7 min. Janet was a great host and was in touch daily, making sure that we got the most out our experience. The listing does accurately describe the campsite.

Janet was so easy to work with! This spot has everything you need and Janet and Jerry made everything all ready with firewood and all! The river is a nice short walk and we really enjoyed fishing and playing in the water. We absolutely loved this spot, we felt so secluded and safe. Our young boys and dogs had so much fun running around. The horseshoes were so fun and the sleeping porch was amazing to have the extra sleeping space. Hope we can have the chance to stay longer and explore more of the beautiful Suwannee River next time!

Be aware, however, you will have to use your own bathroom/shower on your rig. (there is onsite sewage/water/electric, but no bathhouse) Also, no onsite laundry. Otherwise, we enjoyed it!

What a great place! It’s like a little paradise tucked away. Level parking space, access to the water, paddle boards, hangout spot, fire pit. Absolutely the description matched the spot 100%. Darrin was also quick to come get us when there was an amazing sunset happening over the lake!

Serenity Oasis is the perfect name for this property! Located close to town without the noise. This property has everything you would ever need and Linda is the perfect hostess! There are two ponds for fishing, a fish cleaning house, a screened in dining area and a shared bath house. There’s also a fire pit for making smores at night! This is our favorite vacation spot for the summer.

RV site was nice with stone pad. We had water and electric hook up and were able to use one of his dump stations before we left. It was quiet at night and about 8 miles from a cute beach 🏖️. Definitely had a country feel being off a dirt road.

The property itself is filled with magic. It is set next to the Florida Trail and the Suwannee River. The endless trails and nature not only sets it apart, but makes this campground unique. The amenities that are included in the site are well and above everything you need for camping. The covered patio is massive and has a microwave, fridge, grill, flattop and just about anything you need. My wife and two boys loved this place and we will be back :)

We had a great experience. The fire pit and screen room are lovely. Area is private and has a lot of trails. Our dog loved being off leash the entire time. Would recommend.
