Hands down our favorite family camping spot! Janet is an incredible host and Jerry is incredibly welcoming and helpful. We love the space and all the amenities. Our kids always have a great time, and our pup is always happy here! We can’t wait for another visit. ❤️

Great place to take the family for an adventure. Easy access to the Florida Trail. Highly recommend checking out Disappearing Creek, which about a 15 min hike from camp. The propery is large and very private. The campsite is approximatley 1000 ft from the river. You can drive down to the river, although the bank fairly steep. A golf cart or four wheeler would make it easier to get to the beach, where you can launch paddle craft, fish, and swim. There is a large pole barn to shelter in during bad weather. It has a table with chairs, a small kitchen sink and table. Power is available at near the fire ring and in the screened room with a hammock. I recommend bringing an extension cord. Shout out to Jerry for providing firewood for a nominal fee. The bathroom and shower are a big plus. The river is a 5 min walk from the campsite, the beach is around 7 min. Janet was a great host and was in touch daily, making sure that we got the most out our experience. The listing does accurately describe the campsite.

Janet was so easy to work with! This spot has everything you need and Janet and Jerry made everything all ready with firewood and all! The river is a nice short walk and we really enjoyed fishing and playing in the water. We absolutely loved this spot, we felt so secluded and safe. Our young boys and dogs had so much fun running around. The horseshoes were so fun and the sleeping porch was amazing to have the extra sleeping space. Hope we can have the chance to stay longer and explore more of the beautiful Suwannee River next time!

We really loved our time camping here. I did it solo and with my family of three young daughters, wife and two little dogs. I found that it had everything we needed and I enjoyed the solitude and beauty of the land. I highly recommend it.

Janet and her property caretaker Jerry were amazing and super hospitable. I would highly reccomend this site to anyone looking for relaxation and fun. Plenty of hiking trails, river views, and nature. Close to a dozen swimming springs to explore. Our family will be back. 💜

What a great place! It’s like a little paradise tucked away. Level parking space, access to the water, paddle boards, hangout spot, fire pit. Absolutely the description matched the spot 100%. Darrin was also quick to come get us when there was an amazing sunset happening over the lake!

The property itself is filled with magic. It is set next to the Florida Trail and the Suwannee River. The endless trails and nature not only sets it apart, but makes this campground unique. The amenities that are included in the site are well and above everything you need for camping. The covered patio is massive and has a microwave, fridge, grill, flattop and just about anything you need. My wife and two boys loved this place and we will be back :)

Absolutely wonderful stay! We went with our kids and puppy. Even with the rain, our stay was comfortable and fun. This was our second time there and won't be our last! Janet is always a wonderful host and Jerry checked on us daily.

What a great stay! Very secluded but only 10-25 minutes away if you forget a necessity. Space was clean and host Janet was very welcoming: We loved sitting around the fire ring and hanging out under the canopy with the fires. We visited during new moon and the stars were absolutely incredible!I loved that we could clamp with some comforts like a toilet and hot water but feel isolated like we were the only ones around!

3 nights at Suwannee River Glamping
Me and my pup had SO much fun Glamping last weekend! Janet is a great hostess and Jerry made sure I had everything I needed (including things I forgot to bring).
I spent the majority of time at the G Spot (gazebo) on the river! Watching the river, the sun go down, doing my yoga and listening to music in this paradise. The weather was amazing!
We enjoyed a fire in the outside fireplace each night while we watched the moon come up. EXACTLY what I needed after a week of anxiety and turmoil!
Reset my soul!
