We discovered Keaton Beach while camping with some friends and loved it so much that we decided to purchase property so that we can come and camp at any time.  Keaton Beach is a relaxing get away with great outdoor activities for the entire family; Boating, Fishing, Kayaking and the area is known for scalloping during the June - August months.  Additionally, you will experience the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see in your lifetime.   Cedar Island Sandpiper is a golf cart friendly community with friendly neighbors.  We hope you enjoy your stay on our property as much as we do.

Keaton Beach-Campsite 1 - Hayden
This campsite with the pole barn pavilion was fantastic and I would stay here again. Camp Surroundings - Very tall roof on the pavilion, sunlight was abundant throughout my camper windows and could see the morning and evening sun, yet protected my camper during my stay. Had a rain day and could sit underneath outside my camper. Nice large concrete patio, picnic table, soft glowing amber color lights around the perimeter of the pole barn, beautiful landscaping with low lighting around it, fire pit, small pea gravel surrounding the spot, and 2 manicured grass areas in front and back of the spot. Pets are welcome. Amenities - full hookup with water, electric, and sewer, electric outlets to plug in to, water hose for black tank or misc. use, and fire pit. I met the owners of the site who were very accommodating, very nice, and made sure we were aware of all amenities and taken care of. Places to see and things to do - Keaton Beach, the main beach to swim and layout on the beach with a kids play area with slides and tunnels and a pier. Take a short walk down Cedar Island Rd. to see the beach. It's a short drive to Hagen's Cove Park with a lookout tower with a beach. Dark Island is a short bike ride. Local establishments - Keaton Beach Gas and Grill Pizza, Walter B's Tiki Bar, and Nowhere Grille. Visit downtown shops and don't miss Johnson's Bakery and Willoughby Home and Interiors and Further towns to visit - Steinhatchee and Cedar Key

Keaton Beach- on Canal - Teddy
This spot could not be better, the perfect combination! A beautiful canal, fenced in yard, screened out building, and covered area for your rig. My wife and I loved dropping our canoe right outside the door and seeing the gulf sunsets. We brought 6 Aussies with us and they loved the camp.

Keaton Beach-Campsite 1 - Hayden
We have stayed at campsites all over the Keaton area and this was the best. The covered area is spacious and the site is conveniently located to the Dark Island ramp. The hosts are friendly and very responsive. Can’t wait to come back!

We loved this spot so much! It was very clean, beautifully landscaped and had everything we needed for a relaxing few days. We will definitely be back!!! Our hosts were so easy to work with and even allowed us to stay out on the water a little longer since we were rained out on scalloping our second day. Highly Recommend staying here!!!

Keaton Beach- on Canal - Teddy
This is a convenient location only a short drive from Keaton Beach. The site is what we expected: level and gravel with full hookup. It is located next to a canal but there is no dock at this site. I'm not sure if the canal is to blame but gnats were horrible, especially early in the morning (I ended up with numerous bites despite bug repellant). Obviously, the host cannot help gnats. We did find it easier to drive down the gravel lane and then back into the spot. The host recommended backing down the gravel lane as it is narrow. It's a quiet area and most people seemed to be in by 8 pm. I would stay here again, especially with the close proximity to the beach and for boaters, to the different boat ramps and docks.

Keaton Beach-Campsite 2 - Tango
We stayed 5 days in early March. The weather was perfect. Nights were cool and clear— perfect for stargazing and days were warm and great for exploring and fishing. We are spoiled by the covered spot. That really helped keep the camper cool in the bright sun. The concrete pad surrounded by pebbles is terrific for helping to keep the camper clean, too. The site was in pristine condition. We loved how quiet the area was. The only negative is the no-see-um gnats which were relentless, but the host warned us about them so we had plenty of bug spray.

Perfect Little Campers Paradise
Our stay at Keaton Beach Campsite - Teddy was simply amazing! The site is setup perfectly and is fairly private. The location was also very convenient and only minutes from beaches, dining and some really beautiful trails. The host was so very friendly. She provided us with lots of great info on the area and was always available to answer our random questions during our stay. This spot quickly became our favorite camping spot as soon as we drove up. We will definitely be returning and next time it'll be long term. :)
