Campsites are on a small horse farm located just 4 miles from downtown St Augustine and 5 miles from Vilano Beach. Many hiking and water activities within 30 minutes. You select the space you where you wish to set up camp. The entrance off the dirt road is tricky for large rigs or trailers more than 35' may not have easy access. Our sites offer potable water, a shower, picnic tables, a toilet, wifi, trash disposal, space for campfires, and we are pet friendly! We can accommodate tents, RVs, and trailers. Our guests love staying here: "Camping at Gayle’s property was an amazing experience. We shared the field with 3 other campers but there was still plenty of room between sites. Land is flat and has fire pit spaces and BBQ grills. Outdoor shower was appreciated even though we didn’t use it & it was great to have the port-o-potty on site. The best part was getting to see the animals!"

Olive Land Farms is a 12.4 acres farm growing over 2500 Olive trees of 8 different varieties of olives, from 3 of the most renowned olive producing countries in the world. They have been growing here in Hastings, Florida for over a year as they all migrated here from California. The goal of our research project is to establish whether olives could be a profitable crop for the State of Florida. Our research is headed by Reinaldo Valdes, PHD and with the collaboration of Olive growers from Andalucia, Spain. We have 2 varieties from Greece: Koroneiki and Kalamata, 2 varieties from Italy: Taggianca and Ascolana, and 4 varieties from Spain: Picuale, Manzanilla, Arbozana and Arbequina. We are hoping to have our first harvest in 3 to 5 years, until then, we are importing olive oil, representing some of the best olive oils in the world, and educating the consumers about the great qualities and properties of cooking and enjoying the best, heathiest oil in the world, as well as olives. Olive Land Farms also sell trees for homes and garden. In addition to our Olive grove we are a carbon farm, as our trees grow, they will be absorbing carbon dioxide form the environment. A fully grown olive tree can absorb 4.5 tons of carbon dioxide per year, according to the International Olive Council ( you do the math, especially when we are very close to one of the few coal burning power plants still in operation in our country) We are also a bird sanctuary, you will see a vast variety of birds, it’s an amazing show, we have different bird at all seasons, ducks migrating south for the winter as well as when they are heading back north, quite a sight to see, hawks, cardinals and cranes and the most amazing sunrises and sunsets, come visit with us. We have 2 varieties from Greece: Koroneiki and Kalamata, 2 varieties from Italy: Taggianca and Ascolana, and 4 varieties from Spain: Picuale, Manzanilla, Arbozana and Arbequina. We are hoping to have our first harvest in 3 to 5 years, until then, we are importing olive oil, representing some of the best olive oils in the world, and educating the consumers about the great qualities and properties of cooking and enjoying the best, heathiest oil in the world, as well as olives. Olive Land Farms also sell trees for homes and garden. In addition to our Olive grove we are a carbon farm, as our trees grow, they will be absorbing carbon dioxide form the environment. A fully grown olive tree can absorb 4.5 tons of carbon dioxide per year, according to the International Olive Council ( you do the math, especially when we are very close to one of the few coal burning power plants still in operation in our country) We are also a bird sanctuary, you will see a vast variety of birds, it’s an amazing show, we have different bird at all seasons, ducks migrating south for the winter as well as when they are heading back north, quite a sight to see, hawks, cardinals and cranes and the most amazing sunrises and sunsets, come visit with us. Stayed 2 nights. Camping with tents. At the time of this review, there was a drought, so the river was extremely low. Property was very well kept, clean, and a great central location if you don’t want to be too far away from everything. Hopefully next time the rain has raised the river so we could do the full runs, up and down stream. The water was nice and cool, great for the warmer days we had in November. We will definitely be returning. Great site.

Great Stay…. Host is awesome with communications. When I arrived, Jen came out to greet me. She shared some of the places in town to eat and things to do. Finding the place was very easy, although I encourage you to come in while the sun is up…. It gets really dark. The sky is wonderfully dark at night. I thought I saw shooting stars, but based on the news it was a Chinese rocket falling…. Regardless, the dark skies made the star gazing extraordinary. The place is about 20 minutes from St. Augustine, which was perfect for me. The Venus camping spot is very close to the road, but there was no traffic to speak of all night on that road. The Venus camping spot could hold my 20 foot truck, but I wouldn’t try fitting in a rig any bigger. The animals are all friendly and Jen encouraged me to pet them. She did share to pet the pigs on the top of their heads, least the pigs think I am giving them some food. 😊 Besides the chickens, there were lots of birds, including some miniature hummingbirds, that visited. I will absolutely be back! Great place, great host.

I was traveling through and decided to book something last-minute. Before booking, I asked Dawn a few questions through the message link. She responded right back and told me I could head in and park wherever I'd like on her land. Her place was easy to find and I had my pick of spots as I was the only camper there. There are no assigned spots. You can park where you feel most comfortable. There were trees on the land that gave shade and some privacy. Her land is right off the highway so you can hear the traffic passing by. Dawn said I was welcome to have a fire and use the wood she had gathered. There were no official fire pits but I believe she said it was okay to make a fire wherever. Dawn was kind enough to offer me eggs for breakfast but I don't eat eggs and I ended up staying for only a couple of hours because I rested and decided to continue on my way home. I'm not sure if she owns the land where the trees start on the backside of the property (she said a lot of people park up against the trees), but I saw what looked like a trail that was cut in there, so you may be able to walk on it if it's part of her land? Dawn did mention that there are bears, and other wildlife around, so I'd bring a tote for your food or plan to lock it up. As mentioned- there is no toilet. It is carry in and carry out. Thanks again for responding so quickly and accommodating me on short notice Dawn!

I loved tent camping ⛺️ on Jens Farm , she was always available for anything if needed. The Farm animals are amazing and friendly. I stayed 10 days in a tent, you will need to be self sufficient if you plan on renting it, but the spot is private and on a very quite piece of property . At night 🌙 the stars and moon are so bright I to close my top , just beautiful sunrise, sunsets, property. Within 5 minutes you will find a Circkle K , Dollar General and amazing Pizza 🍕 Restaurant. This is the type of camping to find nature again and have the convenience of town when. Necessary, the price was more than fair. Thank you Jen and Crew

An entire small, "EWOK-VILLAGE STYLE" region of our 2.5 wooded acres will be dedicated to this project. EACH tree-tent will be $25/night (including 2 people). I thoroughly enjoyed my 2-day stay at Kelley and Victor's slice of heaven. Loved camping in their sky tent, which fared very well with the summer storm that came through the first night. Kelley and Victor adore their home, and it shows. They have a gorgeous garden and are consistently improving to beautify the land. The outdoor shower was the absolute perfect temperature.
