This is a parking area for two seperatly rented RVs or campers. Each space is approximately 15ft x 40ft, a 33ft plus pull behinds will need expert driver to back in. The electrical hookup is 50 amp. If you have 30 amp, you will need to bring your own adapter. The area is under two large Oak trees giving plenty of shade. Electric and Water hook up is available. NO DUMP STATION! Extra parking for one vehicle only. If you have a trailer, a pull car and a second car the space is very tight, but can work. Basically this is a large parking area for the main home. The main home has a separate drive and garage parking so renters there will not be using your RV space. Golf cart friendly area, Walking distance to waterfront restaurants, tour guides and public boat ramp. Check out my favorite site, Monkey Island!
This RV camping space does NOT have access to the water, please do NOT walk through the yards of the property. Stay in our area and use the sidewalks and roads.

This location is close to the head springs and Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park where you can discover the wild side of Florida with endangered Florida panther, red wolf, manatee and whooping crane, plus black bear, bobcat and, of course, alligator.
The site is located 150 ft from the dock on our private residential property at the head of the springs, the dock is not visible from the site you do have to walk down to the dock area. This is a residential area and is very quiet. You can see the layout of the property in the photos from an aerial view as well as other photos of the setup.
This listing is for the SITE ONLY. Setup your own RV under the shade then enjoy our shared dock with direct access into the Homosassa springs for a refreshing dip or paddle. We provide full hookups (water, sewer, 50amp electric) for your RV as well as WIFI service and access to the docks for your boat or swimming. The hosts created a peaceful HipCamp experience. The site was level and fairly secluded. We had access to the dock where I was able to have my morning coffee and just chill. The site is just minutes away from the State Park with Manatee viewings and a nice walking trail. There are also several bike trails all within 30 minutes (would recommend the Withlacoochee Trail just north of Crystal Springs - paved with areas to stop and picnic).

Stayed one night and everything was perfect. Easy to find and good locaton. We walked in the evening to the marina and ate at the Monkey bar overlooking monkey island which we really enjoyed. The next morning we had an airboar ride with River Safaris which is next door and saw Dolphins and other wildlife. We had a great stay at Charles place and Homosassa. Would highly recommend.

We couldn’t recommend this spot more! Such a hidden gem of a location, right in the spring with manatees just outside the launch point. The host is very responsive and everything in the listing was accurate. We have a 30ft travel trailer and it took us a bit to get turned around in the driveway, but honestly we’ve done worse. Just take your time with it and you’ll be fine. Everything was perfect, we can’t wait to come back. Love that a fire pit and wood is available for a fee, hopefully we can use it next time when there’s no fire ban going on. Thank you for sharing your incredible property with us!!

Super fun to pop up camp here and visit different parks to paddleboard and snorkel around the manatees. We rode our electric scooters to town and saw Monkey Island. Great gift shops. Restaurants. Fabulous place to eat called Crumps I think across the river, about 10 minute drive. Water and electric was available. Road noise is annoying but bearable for the location.

We enjoyed the small town feel of Homosassa. The restaurants and people were so friendly and warm. (Go check out Crumps - a favorite!!) We enjoyed meeting so many new people. The folks at River Safari are great, too. The site is a short drive from a Publix and Walmart if you need anything. We do want to note that the parking area site is actually two sites - one a Hipcamp and the other Harvest Host. As a guest, you will be monitored by camera. There is also a large rental house with foot traffic from the house to the main road, an art gallery open on weekends, and an adjacent rental unit - so be open to frequent passersby, including abundant wildlife. This is not a private site. Traffic on the main road is loud during work commute times. We valued the close proximity to Homasassa Springs. Our Hipcamp host was very responsive. Thank you for hosting us and sharing your neck of the woods!

Great Setting, Full Hookup, Beautiful Dock Area. Host sent very detailed message about the location, rules, & amenities they provided which were greatly appreciated. Location is close to activities & restaurants in Homosassa Springs. Lots of nice details set up at the site like the picnic table, fire pit, lighting, seating on the deck, etc. that made it a very nice stay. Weather got very cold so we were not able to enjoy the dock as much as we would have.
Definitely would recommend to others & we would stay here again.

Kate’s land was the perfect little peaceful oasis for our weekend away! We can’t say enough about this beautiful property on 7 acres. You feel enclosed in the woods with lots of privacy. Grounds were perfect. A little tricky backing in, but just take your time and you can manage it. It is priced under market. Making it affordable for most families and a great value. I hope Kate, the owner never sells this gem. It is a property of a lifetime. Springs are bubbling up all around the property. It is located at the end of one of the river’s many private tributaries offering tons of privacy with little boat traffic, I will never forget the experience at this camping site. I would love going back someday and staying longer.
Just a note; there is no dock to tie a boat up. So you have to figure out another way to use your boat if you have one. There are public ramps within 5 miles. Swimming and kayaking is available on site.

It was great to have a well lighted dock to tie up our boat. The campsite was clean and kept up very well. Alondra’s place is very special indeed.
Neighbors were all friendly and helpful. Alonda was available for our questions. I’m grateful Alondra gave us the opportunity to enjoy her very special beautiful piece of heaven on the spectacular Homosassa Springs of Florida.
