Boaters – Private boat ramp is 200 yards up the road on the Santa Fe, public boat ramps within 10 miles on the Santa Fe and Suwannee rivers. Both get-out parks are within walking distance to the campsite for your convenience. Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run. Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. Brian’s property was a great spot for us! He greeted us and lead us to our spot and then we found out his wife Phyllis bakes muffins and cookies so we bought some muffins for breakfast. They were delicious! We had a problem with our RV not starting on the morning we were supposed to leave and Brian was extremely helpful in giving us assistance with finding a mechanic that could help us. Brian even towed our bus to the repair shop with his tractor! We were very grateful and would definitely recommend this property because of its safe location and the wonderful people who own it. Great Hipcamp experience!

We had a wonderful time at Camp 4A! The property is beautiful — peaceful, private, and surrounded by wildlife. We saw so many deer and wild turkey throughout the neighborhood! Mike was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Our only downside was that the dock was broken during our visit and the riverbank was mostly slick limestone, which made it tough to get in and out for swimming. However, there’s a gorgeous park less than a ten-minute walk away where you can access the river easily for a dip! Firewood available onsite for a reasonable price was also a bonus!

We offer several opportunities for guests: Campsite A: “Rv” 30amp plugin and UV filtered water hookup. Class C or smaller preferred. This site backs up to the trail so, periodically you see a cyclist buzz by. Adjacent to RV pad is a raised/clean tent camping area with additional room for tables and chairs. The whole space is about 50ft x 50ft Campsite B “The Bus” is a retired 1978 Greyhound Tourbus. The cab remains untouched with all the vintage radios and switches. As for the rest…it’s essentially a queen size sleeping studio. Equipped with 2 small under mount refrigerators, a large toaster, 2 burner stove and hot water. Definitely went far out with this one but, it also has fun lighting and 100’s of vinyl records and amazing sound system. The windows are very thick and filter the natural daylight, so reading or jumping online (yes there is Internet) is very relaxing. Campsite C “The Preserve” is for those that just have a small tent and minor gear. Bike touring is popular in our area and we are a base camp for mid-journey adventures. Affordable, safe and refreshing….and back gate to the trail. Our Indoor/Outdoor restroom is fully enclosed and plumbed with hot water shower and flushing toilet. The concrete structure is for all camp guests.

It is a private organic farm owned by a Homeopathic / Naturopathic doctor and biochemist who is a nature lover, lives there and enjoys sharing the peace and tranquility with others. Pets, kids and even grandparents are welcome. The property has 40 fenced acres, private, secure and a safe place campers can enjoy. RV's, Campers, Tents, Class A, B, C, Campervans, Class B Plus, Super C, fifth wheelers, Toy haulers, Travel trailers, pop-up campers and conversions, welcomed. Although the property can accommodate more than 50 sites, Rick keeps it at only 3 spacious sites around his organic spring fed pond stocked with Tilapia, Largemouth bass, Red ear and Bluegill. Those who enjoy catch and release or catch and eat are welcome. There is also an abundance of blackberries and elderberries you are welcomed to pick which usually begins mid May. Guests can also enjoy many different types of wildlife, birds, chickens and even Black Angus cows meandering around. Monarch Manor Farm is also an official Monarch Butterfly weigh station and safe respite for migrating butterflies. These beautiful pollinators have been on Earth about 175 million years from what we can gather from fossils. Beyond the splendor that would be lost from the world if monarch butterflies went extinct, there would be ripple effects in the environment.  Monarchs share their habitat with many other species of insects and birds. The birds would lose a food source, and their decline is the proverbial “canary in the coal mine” for other pollinators. If other pollinators decline like monarchs, it could have impacts on the food that humans rely on. This year (2024) we hope to finally get the Monarch Butterfly put on the endangered species list and see them rebound in numbers. So when you stay here you are also making a contribution that provides a safe chemical free environment for these super pollinators to multiply once again. All three sites are right around the pond with great views. A combination of large live oaks, shade and sun All sites also have a picnic table, fire ring and grill. Site 1 has your choice of 110 and 30amp power. There is no power at site 2, 2A or 3. The bath house is equipped with 2 showers. One shower is heated by geothermal means and the other by a tankless hot water heater for evening showers. There is a foot pedal hand sink, portable-potty, and seating. Today, under our ownership since the late 40s, the Ranch has never been developed or timbered in any large measure. Original heart pine forests, oak groves, and wetlands pepper the entire tract. The land has remained largely untouched and natural, which is rare, in a state that is rapidly loosing its natural land to development.
