Monarch Manor Farm is not a stack and pack camper on top of camper place. It is a private organic farm owned by a Homeopathic / Naturopathic doctor and biochemist who is a nature lover, lives there and enjoys sharing the peace and tranquility with others. Pets, kids and even grandparents are welcome. The property has 40 fenced acres, private, secure and a safe place campers can enjoy. RV's, Campers, Tents, Class A, B, C, Campervans, Class B Plus, Super C, fifth wheelers, Toy haulers, Travel trailers, pop-up campers and conversions, welcomed. Although the property can accommodate more than 50 sites, Rick keeps it at only 3 spacious sites around his organic spring fed pond stocked with Tilapia, Largemouth bass, Red ear and Bluegill. Those who enjoy catch and release or catch and eat are welcome. There is also an abundance of blackberries and elderberries you are welcomed to pick which usually begins mid May. Guests can also enjoy many different types of wildlife, birds, chickens and even Black Angus cows meandering around. Monarch Manor Farm is also an official Monarch Butterfly weigh station and safe respite for migrating butterflies. These beautiful pollinators have been on Earth about 175 million years from what we can gather from fossils. Beyond the splendor that would be lost from the world if monarch butterflies went extinct, there would be ripple effects in the environment.  Monarchs share their habitat with many other species of insects and birds. The birds would lose a food source, and their decline is the proverbial “canary in the coal mine” for other pollinators. If other pollinators decline like monarchs, it could have impacts on the food that humans rely on. This year (2024) we hope to finally get the Monarch Butterfly put on the endangered species list and see them rebound in numbers. So when you stay here you are also making a contribution that provides a safe chemical free environment for these super pollinators to multiply once again. All three sites are right around the pond with great views. A combination of large live oaks, shade and sun All sites also have a picnic table, fire ring and grill. Site 1 has your choice of 110 and 30amp power. There is no power at site 2, 2A or 3. The bath house is equipped with 2 showers. One shower is heated by geothermal means and the other by a tankless hot water heater for evening showers. There is a foot pedal hand sink, portable-potty, and seating. All water is filtered and drinkable. There is a fish cleaning station equipped with a garden hose. Only 22 minutes from either Ocala, Fl or Gainesville, Fl. and 5min from Hwy. 75 We look forward to hosting you, your family and friends. We also offer booking larger groups of any size or all three all three sites at once. The site was right next to the pond. Peaceful only hearing the sounds of nature. Lots of trees for shade. Ricki was a very attentive and kind host making sure I was able to find the property and site without issues. Will definitely goo back when I have more time to enjoy. Close to stores and places to grab a bite to eat.

Rick’s land was great to camp on! The site is directly in front of a small pond. It has beautiful shade trees and is so quiet. It is across the pond from the bathroom/shower, but not a long walk. Rick himself was a pleasure to work with. He is very helpful (especially with lost phones in weird places 😬😅) and communicates in a timely manner. I would highly recommend his land for camping!

We thoroughly enjoyed Rick’s camp. It is some of the easiest camping we’ve done and the property is beautiful. The bathhouse is glorious and sites were perfectly positioned for our group. Plenty of room to spread out. The fishing and view of the pond was relaxing and fun. Nice shade, breeze, and sunny spots perfect for hanging out and napping. We will be coming back. Rick is a great and knowledgeable host who was very helpful, friendly, and clearly takes pride in caring for this super nice property.

This was all around an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Rick, the host, is a great human being. He was waiting for us at the site, willing and available to help out in whatever thing we could need. He went the extra 2 miles for us to feel at home, and we did. The site is beautiful, clean, peaceful, quiet and full of nature everywhere, including a pond where you can fish and then cook your own caught meal (and a boat to ride too). The bathroom, the showers, and the place in general is fantastic. The kids had an amazing time all around. You have stores 5-10 minutes away and you can get whatever you need. The place felt very safe and the experience was way more than we expected. We made a friend for life and found our camping spot for years to come! We are already planning our next trip. You will not regret coming to Monarch Manor Farm. 10 out of 5 stars!

This is our third time coming to Rick's place. As always, it is a great place to recharge our bodies from city life. As a bonus, you will get a stupendous and gracious host full of hidden talents and surprises, just like his place. Although temperatures could hit the 90s during the day, at night it gets cool enough to turn off our portable fan and reach for a blanket in the middle of the night. Thanks again, Rick, for allowing us to stay at your place.

Monarch Manor Farm is really a gorgeous place to camp. Site 1 and also other sites are more than spacious and the view is beautiful. Host Ricki is very nice: provided clear instructions, showed us around, let us use his boat on the pond, and even shared his delicious food with us. The site is equipped with everything we need including picnic table, trash bin (at every site), hot shower, toilet, electricity, and even wifi (video streaming with no issue). My wife and I really enjoy spending our time roaming around. Also, Monarch Manor Farm is very close to many great places worth visiting. Would definitely recommend to every camper with different camping rigs! P.S. the free range eggs are so fresh and tastes great :-)

We had an amazing stay at this campsite! The pond was such a highlight – it was well-stocked, and my kids had an absolute blast catching fish all day long. They couldn’t get enough of it, and it made for such a memorable experience for our family. The camp host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. He always available to answer any questions and was super friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. My wife loved how peaceful it was after the sun went down. The sounds of nature – the occasional hooting of an owl, the lowing of the cows and the frogs in the pond – made for the perfect soundtrack to our evening. Overall, this campsite is perfect for families looking for a fun and peaceful getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an incredible stay at Monarch Manor Farm! The three private campsites are well-spaced, offering a peaceful and secluded experience. The bathhouse was clean and well-maintained, adding extra comfort to the stay. The stocked fishing pond was absolutely beautiful—a perfect spot to relax and reel in some great catches. What truly made this place special was Ricki! He was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests’ experience. I can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing nature escape!

Hidden Jewel in central Florida

Rick's property is a jewel hidden close to central Florida. It is a very peaceful place with gorgeous views. The amenities are second to none. Expect to be amazed. I could write a novel about this campsite and its many great things, but the best way to summarize is by saying we planned to use two days to visit Silver Spring and Rainbow River State Parks and opted to stay at Rick's property the entire time. But so far, the best amenity of all is Rick himself. We are already making plans to come back at least once every two months.

All the camp sites are around a beautiful pond (stocked with fish!), each with plenty of space for privacy. Shower area was great, you also have access to an outdoor sink with filtered water for dishes and fish cleaning table. Fire ring overlooking the pond and firewood for sale. Just a real gem of a camp. Ricki the host was very welcoming and got us in on a last minute booking (in the dark!) - made sure to show us everything and spent time making sure we were comfortable with navigating and knowing about all of the properties wonderful amenities - including fresh eggs for sale for breakfast. We had a very brief stay on our way home from a long trip, but would love to come back and enjoy more time.

What a beautiful place! And definitely a hidden gem! Dr. Rick was really hospitable and friendly, attending to our needs. Campsites are well maintained and the bathhouse clean with nice hot water to shower (specially during cold fronts). The swings and the circular grill are a plus, we enjoyed those as well. We were looking for a new place to camp, since the other place we had became permanently closed and I think we found our new favorite place. Will most definitely come back.

Amazing place! Wonderful host and great campsite. Our dogs loved it too. We have a self-contained camper but were running low on room in our tanks so we used the clever and comfortable bath house as well.

We loved staying here with our 2 little fur babies! The property was large, peaceful and filled with oak trees and Spanish moss. So serene! There’s only a few camp spots so you will definitely have your privacy. Property is immaculate. Bath house was clean. Beautiful lake front sites (with no gators!). Ricki is an AMAZING attentive host. This was our first time using Hipcamp and it was an amazing experience. We will DEFINITELY be back to Monarch Manor for a longer stay.

We have visited several places through Hip Camp. Never have we had such a great visit as we did with Monarch Manor. Ricki is the perfect host and the place is absolutely fantastic. The only reason I hesitate to tell everyone how great it is is because it will make it more difficult to book there in the future. If I could leave 50 stars I would.

Rick is an amazing host and Monarch Manor is a dream site for camping. During our stay the sliding door of our minivan broke and Rick pulled in some mechanic friends to help and they fixed it! We hope to be able to return soon. I Would highly recommend this location to friends and family.

We recently stayed at Monarch Manor for the second time with our family and we had a fantastic experience again! The upgrades, like the new swings and grills, really added to the fun, and everything was just as wonderful as our first stay. A big thank you to Rick, our host, for his hospitality and for making us feel so welcome. We enjoyed every moment and would recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway!

Amazing place, amazing host, amazing feeling of peace and tranquility. Ricky is an amazing host who does everything and beyond to get you as happy as you can be. The campground is around a pond under the trees, only 3 sites, so you’ll never feel overcrowded. As I said before, very peaceful and laid back, just enjoying nature and silence. I can’t say enough but you can go to Ricky’s place blindfolded.

Tent camping by the pond was beautiful. We had the place to ourselves, but the sites are large and the property has plenty of nicely mowed grass with some nice flat spots for the tents.

Beautiful views in every direction, quiet, very peaceful. Lots of birds to hear and see. Site was spacious and easy to set up in. Had a beautiful view of the lake. Host Ricki was fantastic, you couldn't ask for a more gracious host, he made sure I had everything I needed.

I enjoyed my stay @Monarch Manor Farm. Rick, the Host, was very accommodating with getting me set up for a wonderful trip. Camp sites ( four in total) are spaced out perfectly- if more than one camper is camping. Property has a bathhouse (great shower pressure was a plus!), with toilet. Rustic! Will definitely be back.
